It was clean and near plenty of eateries. The staff were great, polite and helpful. They also sell carton boxes if you overbought and need to check in an extra box (or 5).

It was pretty cramped. I felt misled by the photos. We had the Japanese style apartment. Futons aren't made if you don't pay $20 per futon. I don't remember reading this on booking.com but I found out via their website AFTER booking. Despite being named Mimaru Namba Station, it is nowhere near Namba Station. Not a far walk unless you have kids. Then everything becomes far. The mattresses were pretty hard, I ended up sleeping on the futon instead. Just preference, not their fault at all.

We stayed at the apartment with 2 rooms and a hall, the unit was well equipped. It’s perfect for our family of 5 members. There’s a convenience shop opposite the hotel, and many eateries within walking distance, so it’s very convenient. It took us less than 10 minutes to famous Dotonbori area and Shinsaibashi shopping street.

Nothing much except that our Google Maps keeps directing us to Mimaru Osaka Namba North instead of Mimaru Osaka Namba Station. Both are different so be sure to check.

Excellent location with good staff service. Responsive CS service and caring staffs, you can enjoy a comfortable vacation here.

The room may not have enough space for 5 suitcase due to the two sofas and big table. Moreover, there are some rubbish under the sofa.

Washer and dryer did not function well and we really needed it.

Loved the board game theme of the hotel...it was great for the kids and kept us occupied when we needed down time in the hotel. Location is awesome and very close to good eating spots, shops and transport. Coin laundry and dryers were super handy. The coin laundry includes automatic detergent! Staff were also wonderfully helpful including helping us arrange luggage transport to Tokyo. Highly recommended.

We would have preferred bin emptying services (or a way to empty our garbage) on a daily basis especially given we had a toddler and dirty nappies. Beds were also a bit hard for our liking, but otherwise not a lot to complain about.

We love everything about Mimaru Osaka Namba Station. It's very convenient for us arriving from the airport. Located closely to Namba City Mall, Takashimaya, Kitchen Street, Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. We were spoiled with choices. We (5 adults 2 kids) stayed in a 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Ample space for our lugagges. A complete kitchen set and a comfortable living room. This might be one of the most spacious space and value for money that you can ask for in Japan. Games room with free coffee/drinks available at the reception level. Our girls borrowed some board games to the room. It helps alot to keep them busy. Breakfast kitchen cum mini supermarket (Lawson) were just opposite the hotel. We can ride a taxi right outside the hotel door. When it's raining, we were able grab our meal downstairs along the hotel street. The hotel also provides umbrella for guests to use. The hotel staffs were amazing. Communications were smooth, most of them can speak english too. Very helpful and friendly. It is so convenient to transfer our lugagges (same day delivery) to the next hotel with Airporter and info provided at the reception counter. Overall, we are happy guests! We will definitely come back to Mimaru again.

The facilities were excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful (particularly Maria), the games and activities on site and in our rooms were so much fun for both kids as young as 4, teenagers, adults and grandparents in their late 70s and was a unique experience - particularly the Secret Room, Coin Hunt and Pictogram Hide and Seek. The free drinks was a lovely touch. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We loved having a small kitchen and dining table (very useful for a family travelling) and the location was conveniently near a train station, shopping centre, markets and convenience stores.

The mattresses were quite hard for a side-sleeper and my elderly parents struggled a bit with the low beds.

The hotel was perfect for us : family of 7 : 2 seniors, 2 adults and 3 children. The design was modern and the board games theme allowed the children to go and have fun. You can see the effort the hotel has put in to make every spot have a game - even at the elevator waiting spot! Super fun :) The location is easy to go around and it is near all the important landmarks or Namba. The environment around the hotel is safe and near at least 3 Lawsons and 7-elevens with many eateries and restaurants everywhere around the hotel! The staff are always friendly and willing to advise. Our room has a kitchenette, a dining table and the tatami area to spread the futons out and with 2 beds … Their futon mattresses were so comfortable and we all had the best sleep on them! With all that walking daily, it was nice to come back here and our children slept so well :) very good hotel especially for larger sized families!

While the hotel was very clear that they clean up the beds on the 3rd/4th day of our stay, which is completely understandable, perhaps we can suggest a quick daily vacuum of the carpet in the living room to be considered by the management as the children did end up having some food crumbs on the floor or perhaps you can consider having a small hand vacuum for the room. However, this is not a big deal at all, because eventually the room does get cleaned up very very very well.

Came as a group of 4 sharing one room, loved the bed set up with the bunks, which gave everyone their own space. Location also cannot be beat with everything you'd ever want within walking distance, from Den Den Town to Doutonbori St. And if it isn't close by, don't worry because it's a 5 minute walk from Namba Station! After the first day, we thought we had travelled so far but in reality we had just been circling the few blocks around the hotel. The area is so dense, I feel like I could stay there for weeks and still not see everything! Couldn't rate the experience any more, everything was so close and convenient, and there was even washer/dryers for doing laundry. 10/10 would visit again!

Some of the hidden coins for the challenge seemed to be missing, we could have just been bad at finding them, but we only had three left and turned the room upside down to find it but no luck. Hopefully they're still there, but they may have been taken by other guests.

Extremely convenient - 10 min walk (with kids) to Namba parks, and 15 min walk to Kuromon market. Two Lawson stores few minutes away. We stayed in the room with loft beds. Well designed and practical. Every part of the room was used efficiently. There was even a bathtub which we used every night with the amazing bath bombs (Sanrio, et all from Don Quijote which was just ten minutes away and opened till 3am). We went to Kyoto via Nippombashi station which was a 15-20 min walk (with young children). The lobby (second floor) was a good holding area for bored kids waiting for the adults to be ready as there were many games for them to participate in.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property, price point was a bit steep (500 SGD a night for Family room) but for the reasons mentioned earlier, it’s justified.
