Our stay at Park Front Hotel in Osaka was a dream come true! The prime location right next to Universal Studios Japan made our visit incredibly convenient. The grandeur of the lobby left a lasting impression, and the staff’s exceptional helpfulness added to the overall positive experience. The buffet breakfast was a delightful highlight, offering a great start to our days. The assistance provided in securing express passes, even when they were sold out elsewhere, showcased the staff’s dedication to guest satisfaction. Choosing to stay in Universal City was a strategic move for our two-day USJ adventure. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and supermarkets within walking distance added a layer of convenience and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic blend of comfort and accessibility!

While our experience at Park Front Hotel was largely positive, we did encounter a minor issue with our initial room, which had stains on the wall. The explanation provided was that it resulted from luggage standing against the wall. Although the staff promptly offered to change our room, it did hint at the need for some timely refurbishment of the rooms. Aside from this, there weren’t any major drawbacks to our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property.

Was great that The Park Front Hotel was located so close to Universal Studios Theme Park. Loved the fantastic views from our room at night and the shopping and so many fantastic restaurants, food bars and cafes within walking distance from the hotel.. Excellent Hotel and location. Would definitely stay again... Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a fabulous one..

The hotel itself is conveniently positioned on City Walk, with an exit that leads directly to the theme park from the hotel. It's a quick 2 minute walk from the station to the hotel. I had a really nice view of the theme park and City Walk from the hotel room. There are many options for food, including a few popular restaurants connected to the hotel itself. As a guest, you can also receive a discount per restaurant (attached to the hotel) by showing your room key card, but you can also opt for the hotel buffet, which offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a Lawson convenience store attached to the hotel and coin lockers on the 2nd floor for hotel guests who may still want to enjoy the park, but who have already checked out of the hotel (¥100 for a suitcase sized locker vs the USJ lockers which charge ¥1,000 for the same type of locker); I surely made use of them during my stay. The atmosphere and theme of the hotel is time travel and all of the little details sprinkled throughout the building are a nice touch.

My only gripes would be the crowds, especially during breakfast at the hotel (morning) and returning to the hotel close to the park closing time (evening). Obviously, foot traffic is bound to increase during these two peak times, but I'm not such a patient person so it was particularly annoying for me. If you're similar, it's best to find something else to do or another place to eat. City Walk is full of delicious restaurants and a variety of shops to pass some time and avoid having to wait in long lines just to use the elevators.

The convenience of the location can't be understated, the staff were 1st class, the presentation was seamless. Pretty sure we had the best room you could wish for.

Location close to thr Park and Subway/Train Lines. Hotel offered baggage locker services for those who arrived too earlier for check in. Loved the time travel Theme a nd each floor was customized after different time eras fir example the floor I stayed on was design in 1940s style down slight details in the rooms and hallways. The various resturants and stores. The hotel also supply badic hygiene care supplies, slippers and night wear.oved you can have control over A/C abd Heating. The buffet sas very afforable especially for Breakfast starting at 0700 befor pack opening at 0900.

It’s so close to Universal Studios- very convenient to get back to the hotel room after a long day of walking! We liked the variety offered at the hotel breakfast in the morning too, despite that the environment can be a bit chaotic since everyone was rushing to finish breakfast to go to the park. We liked the amenities provided at our room, especially the muscle pain relief patches for our legs after a long day!

WiFi was pretty much non-existent at the hotel, we had to use our own data. The room design is a bit dated, although it was very clean.

Staff was excellent, especially Mr. Yano who was always there with a helping hand. The view from our room was awesome! We were able to get in line in a timely manner as we watched people line up early in the morning. The coin laundry did not dry our clothes well...other than that I highly recommend the Park Front Hotel on your next visit. (We stayed in Room 2008, it has 4 beds and a grand view of the park. MAHALO!!

we were a family.. so we had 4 beds. View is outstanding as it faces the park. Even when the park is closed you can just sit and the window and look out at the view. Coffee machine as a Nespresso which was awesome. Hotel is bang on City Walk right outside the gate of Universal. In fact you can see people lining up from your room. Its so convenient, just to be able to walk down to the park and restaurants whenever we wanted. Japanese bathrooms are just the best..need I say more. Great stay, will definitely be back again

The hotel is right next to universal studios so if you are looking to spend some time there, you won't go wrong staying here. There is a mall right next to it so you can have meals there, just avoid the peak period crowds and you will be fine. Train station is also a 2 minutes walk away so going to other places of attractions will be easy. At night, you can wave a torch to the people walking past below, and some of them will wave back if they see you!

Being right next to universal studios means that you will see tons of people at all times of the day. The biggest problem this poses is that queues for restaurants are going to be long if you go at meal times, so what we did was to have our meals slightly earlier to avoid the crowds.

I wanted to give a shout out to the trainee (male) from the front desk that assisted me to check-in. He was so friendly, professional and a good listener. He did an excellent job just being a trainee. I wanted to give a shout out also to the male rep that helped us to park in the waiting area. We told him that we were going to pick up my kids and their luggage and we wanted to park on the 2nd floor. He told us there was no need to pay for parking. We can wait for our kids to check out and wait in the loading zone so we don’t have to pay. He listened to us and save us money. We are so thankful to him and I hope both employees will be recognized for their Excellent Customer Service!!!

Breakfast buffet is too expensive so we didn’t purchase it.
