By Japan standards 80 m2 is a big space. I liked that one of the rooms is a traditional Japanese room with a serenity balcony. Great to have a washing machine, vast array of amenities, good sized bathroom, lovely (interesting toilet with hand washing water on the cistern), Osakako station being a 5 minute walk, a main food street with 3 convenience stores and one full grocery store. You can cook at home if this preferred. I liked that we were away from the overwhelming action of Osaka and could access green space easily. The stop at the aquarium had full bloom of the cherry blossoms. Stunningly beautiful. Would be amazing to walk through for visitors. From Shin-Osaka use the red Midosuji line and switch to the green line at Hommachi station to get to the accommodation. We would stay here again.

Check in process. Limited English. No email confirming the check in process in its entirety. Had a fellow non-English speaking guest let us in. I then proceeded to ask him via Google translate how to check-in. Had to call the call centre number to confirm the room code and how to access the building. The mailbox had absolutely nothing to do with room code. If an establishment is using contactless check-in, please ensure someone actually tests the process end to end to experience what it’s like for guests. Language options would really help. Like great you’ve tested the Japanese version but how does this work for foreigners.

The place had a very good mix of traditional Japanese and western features. Facilities were all as needed for a family and our stay with two small kids was very comfortable. It is located very close to the subway station and getting anywhere from there is quite convenient. We arrived from Kansai airport on the airport bus, and it was also a short walk from the bus drop-off point..

There was an option to upload documents in advance to ease the entry process. Which I did and seemed to be complete, but on arrival I had to upload passport for each individual again. This is perhaps an specific issue with me. Otherwise, nothing all negative.

This apartment was so conveniently placed near to the train line and the Tempozan Market place, which has a load of attractions and shops. We really easily got to Universal Studios by catching the free ferry and walking for 15mins. The apartment was large, and although we had an issue finding the wifi password it was easily resolved by contacting the management. The apartment had a good sized kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet, with lots of condiments and household items to assist with our stay.

One bed was a bit hard but I solved that by using a spare futon mattress as extra padding.

Perfect and spacious layout for a family of 5. We didn't want to feel cramp and we didn't feel that at all. We like that e go space when needed. The dinning was good for our eating time. Also I like that there was many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Like a downtown area 2mins away. The train station was 1 min away. It's around the corner from everything which is good for noise. Expect the train once and awhile you can hear it. Other than that around the corner is good. Perfect location for different stores that you can get snacks, food and essentials. Beds were good didn't have a backache. Washer was a plus for us. We are use to using a dryer but hanging was fine until it rained.

Found pervious owner socks in couch. The couch needed to be cleaned. Other than that nothing. Better pillows as that felt hard but not sure if that a Japanese thing.

Universal Bay Condominium is an absolute gem! If you're looking for spacious, comfortable accommodation in Osaka, look no further. The service apartments here were fantastic – three bedrooms, including a beautiful Japanese tatami room, and ample space to spread out. No cramped hotel room feelings here! The whole building was pristine – not a speck of dirt in sight. I was amazed by how well-maintained it was. We also loved having free parking right at the entrance – so convenient in a busy city like Osaka. While there's no in-person staff, they are easily available online. That worked perfectly for us as we prefer a more independent experience. I would highly recommend Universal Bay Condominium for families or groups of friends. It's a wonderful way to experience Osaka with a bit more space and a taste of traditional Japanese living.

Limited laundry facilities: While a washing machine is available, there's no dryer, so be prepared to hang-dry your clothes. Small bed and blanket size: If you're taller than 6 feet, you might find the beds and blankets a bit snug. Limited entertainment options: The TV did not offer casting capabilities, which might be a drawback for some. Missing amenity: Having a travel adapter readily available in the room would have been an added convenience.

Excellent choice of a hotel when staying in Osaka. I received a code for the door prior to arrival. Elevator was clean and working. Free slippers were placed by the door when you first entered the room. The rooms were much larger than expected. All rooms (including the kitchen) had separate doors which allowed everyone to have their own space without people walking down the hall and seeing into the rooms. And every room had decent sized closets and individual heating/air conditioning units. Toilet area was separate from shower area. Kitchen area was extremely nice and had everything necessary to prepare a meal. Location was only a few blocks from the train station and only a few blocks from the ferry that was used to go to Universal Orlando. There were a lot of stores (restaurants/convenience stores) near the hotel. Streets were relatively quiet and felt extremely safe.

The television only had local channels and did not have the ability to use your personal Netflix or other streaming services. Everything else was perfect with no issues.

I loved the size for my family of 5. My kids had plenty of space to run around and play together. Mom and Dad had some space for quiet. Great balance. There were plenty of amenities and towels and laundry soap supplied. We shopped at the 7/11 often it is so close! If you don't mind an extra train or two to your day this is great for the space. The aquarium is within walking distance (if you don't mind extreme crowds). I honestly do not recommend. Maybe in the late evening.

It could have been a little cleaner. The bathroom tiles had some mold and I found 2 curly hairs on the shower wall but everything else was good. It's not a 4 star hotel so don't expect that. Still would suggest for families who don't want to sleep in the typical one room with multiple beds for 3+ days.

Easy to follow instructions on how to check in and check out of the property. The room was spacious and clean. The property is located on the quiet side of Osaka, which takes about 30-40 mins to get to Dotonbori. However it is close to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan and Legoland Discovery Center (located inside a shopping centre called Tempozan Market Place, which is next to the Aquarium). There is apparently a free ferry run by local council which you can take from Tempozan Tosenjo bridge (walking distance from the property) to USJ, but will take 10-15 mins walk depending on you speed from the pier to USJ. We did not catch the ferry and ended up catching the train instead as kids prefer the train.

It was only a few minutes walk from the train station. Easy to get to from Osaka station. Convenience stores, the harbour, Osaka aquarium, Ferris wheel and a car museum all within a few minutes walk. The condo was spacious enough for four adults and two small children although only one two seater couch. It didn’t really bother us as we were out all day each day and just had a drink and sat at the table of an evening. It was very handy having a washing machine and small sun filled balcony to dry things.

The pillows were very hard - Japan always has hard pillows but these were the worst we had in our two weeks holiday.

The apartment was very secure, and easy to navigate in regards to check in and check out. It was a very spacious property and close to universal. The value for money was excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great at communicating, making it easy for us to check in and out.

We found the mattresses to be rather hard, not allowing for a great sleep. The pillows were hard too. On the futon mattresses, some of them had stains on them. There were too many signs posted around with fines etc on them which doesn't add to a great experience.
