incredibly close to universal and the train station. clean rooms, comfy bed, good shower pressure.

breakfast can be very busy, we stayed 4 nights the breakfast didn’t change so got tiresome. spa and onsen does not accomodate tattooed people. I understand it’s a cultural thing however this is a hotel next to a very popular heme park attracting many international travellers.

Walking out of Universal and being at the hotel within 2 minutes is the best feeling. Staff and rooms very nice as well.

The SkySpa is a gendered Onsen, which we didn't realise until we got there. That's on us, and we understood and accept this tradition, but it is still disappointing as none of us are interested in doing that. Would have been nicer if that was made a little more clear.

The location from USJ to the hotel was great especially after spending the whole day walking around, being able to walk a short distance and be back in the hotel is so convenient. I love that they have a "take what you need toiletries" section near the check in counter. It was a great touch!

Stayed in this hotel as I had planned to spend the day in universal studios. Super well located. A one minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the park. Lots of restaurants around too. The room offered an amazing view to Osakas city centre. Very spacious for Japanese standards and offered everything you needed to spend your time comfortably. The bath/spa in the upper flow was also a great add on.

The internet was a bit sketchy at night when (I’m assuming) everyone returned to the hotel which was a struggle since I was working during my stay. It also got a little bit loud. I could hear the guests roaming around the corridors and from the rooms too.

We love the hot spring at the hotel, it's really relaxing. Location of the hotel are really awesome and convenience. Shops and many restaurants close by.

Suggest Japan hotel to take all customer's detail correctly and carefully. We booked our hotel with 4 person, details of 2 children and their age, but when we came to check in, they only have our children age as "0". With children over 14, they then charge you an extra fees. It happens to all other two hotels we had booked in Japan. I don't think it is fair to charge in this way simply due to their careless of customer's detail.

1) Amazing location. Come out of the ticket barriers at JR Universal City station and the hotel is directly on your right while the entrance to Universal City is on your left. The station itself is only 4 stops and 15 minutes away from Osaka station, although you need to switch at the second station. 2) Wonderful staff. We arrived before our booking time after a 3 hour train journey with a sick baby and were desperate to get into our room. The nominal charge if you went to check in early is 2200 yen per hour prior to the check in time at 2 but seeing our distress, the hotel staff only charged us for one hour instead of four and got us into the room within 20 minutes which was pretty amazing given that the previous guest had just vacated. 3) The Skyspa was my first experience with an onsen and it was great. Two hot pools, one with a view of the city skyline, a cold water plunge pool, good locker facilities and a reasonable spread of toiletries. The PJs provided by the hotel were comfy and there was also a comfy waiting room just outside, also with a city view. My wife was similarly impressed with the female onsen. Card access is required for both. 4) Great breakfast spread. I loved the food here as they had so many Japanese options in addition to the quintessential American foods. Anchovies from Wakayama, natto, curry rice and others. Loved it.

1) A bit pricey especially since we paid more just to get a bed just big enough for my wife, baby and myself to sleep in. However this is pretty much the norm for accommodation in any large Japanese city. 2) The laundry facilities adjoin the onsen waiting room on the top floor and they can get very busy especially with only 5 machines. The dryers take a long time and a lot of yen to dry the clothes to something approaching damp, forget dry. The machines could use an upgrade. It also gets very hot in the room which is unfortunate since the ice cream machine is just outside.

This hotel is a perfect location for accessing Universal Studios Japan. It is right next to the subway station and about a 5 minute walk to the park gates. There are many restaurants to choose from within a 5 minute walk and several convenience stores and other shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. The on-site restaurant served a good breakfast buffet offering Japanese and western options but was a little pricey and very crowded. We had two rooms a double and a corner twin, both overlooking the harbour. The rooms were large and well-appointed and had amazing views.

Being right at the USJ entrance, the hotel was a little expensive and the rooms a little dated. We would like to have stayed longer and made use of the spa, but had no time.

Very close to the Universal Studio. Recommended if you plan to spend 2 days in the park. Although all rooms have two beds, it is legit to stay in a room alone. Sometimes you are so tired that you want to lay down before taking a shower but don't want to make the bed you actually sleep on dirty. The two beds allow you to do so. One for taking nap, the other one for sleep.

There were some stains on the sofa and chairs, and some dust at the corner of the wall. But they weren't serious. Price might be a bit high for single person since the rooms are for 2 people. I had hesitation before making the booking. But I don't regret making it.

Nice big bed with a good view out over the harbor, which really lit up during evening and nighttime (in a good way) Great access to Universal Studio Japan, and very good with access to the trains.

The arminities were good, but a few things were missing that we had a hard time getting with the available shops nearby. Breakfast coupons were a bit pricy at almost 3000¥ per person per day. While the room was nice, it lacked a bit more cleaning. I did notice a thick line or white dust between the bed and toilet wall, which clearly hadn't been properly cleaned for weeks. Also, the drains in both the bathtub and sink required maintenance of the form of pipe cleaning as the water could out fast enough.

The room was really spacious, super clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is amazingly close to the train station and only a 5 min walk to USJ, it’s quick and easy to get home after a big day at USJ. There are also a lot of food options and a couple of convenient stores located very close by. I also love that there is an indoor and outdoor rooftop bath that allows you to unwind after a long day, which offers a spectacular view while bathing.

The walls seem to be slightly thin. Could always hear children running/crying during the early mornings or evening. Surprisingly though, even though the hotel was close to the train station, I didn’t hear the trains at all. I’ve done many public onsen baths before, but I found it slightly confronting when there were young boys (that looked around the age of 9 or 10) in the female bath with their mom. I felt that they were abit too old to be in the female bath. The boys were also splashing water towards each other, which really took away from the relaxing ambience of an onsen bath.
