Location was awesome. Perfect jumping off point for exploring Tokyo by subway. Also a great neighbourhood to return to each evening to freshen up in our room before heading out to one if the many options for dinner in the Akasaka neighbourhood. Beds were comfortable, my 2 daughters and I were actually able to sleep across the two beds. Shower was particularly good (great water pressure) and washing machines in the hotel that wash, dries and dispenses the detergent was very convenient. The fridge/freezer provided was great for holding all our combini snacks, drinks and frozen treats that we were excited to try out. Check-in process was easy and with room key code there were no key cards to worry about. Would recommended and would be likely to stay again.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of front desk for requesting things like more toiletries, advice etc. Although we were aware the hotel would not be staffed and the systems in place did work fine! Only other criticism would be space for storing clothing so we could stow away our large suitcases. But again we were aware that Japanese hotel rooms are on the tighter side space wise and again we adjusted and it worked out fine.

Fantastic location, warm and comfortable. The Barragan downstairs was great and the general proximity to the subway makes this a great find. Contactless check-in was also smooth sailing. Will definitely be back!

If I was being super pick-up, a mop to run over the timber floor for general dust (even if it was one to attach to the throw away cloths used for washing up), a little tiny clothes airer (I used the kitchen stools) and an extra pillow or two would have been great too.

The apartment was in an amazing location in Akasaka - just a few minutes walk to 2 different metro lines, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It was nice to come back to this calm area after visiting much busier areas of the city and Akasaka itself felt much less touristy than the more popular Shinjuku and Shibuya areas. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen for making quick meals in the morning. The apartment was absolutely spotless and I loved the free high quality skincare and haircare products they provided. It was also a bonus to have a hair straightener provided - wonderful in the Tokyo humidity! I would highly recommend staying here.

No complaints at all - this place was perfect. Having a washer would have been a nice bonus though!

We had an apartment set up for 4. It was well appointed and laid out - it was nice to have a table and chairs for us to sit at. Bathroom was fantastic - the best shower we had in our whole trip round Japan (and they were all pretty amazing). Comfortable beds - including the Japanese style floor mattresses the kids were on. No staff and just an iPad for check in which was fine if things go as they should which was the case for us as I had provided all the information beforehand. The hotel was on one of the main streets in Akasaka so well located, close to several metro stations but surprisingly quiet. Plenty of nightlife and places to eat around.

Not much to be honest!

The room was clean and new. The location was very convenient for public transportation access. Check in and out was very efficient. The description online was accurate in that we each had a comfortable bed/tatami to sleep on.

Room size could be bigger. No reception and baggage care before check in and after check out was a very negative. But we knew that information before hand so that was expected. It works best if your flight departs in the morning so you don't need to worry about the luggage. Also, transportation to the airport is not very direct.

Great central location amongst resturants. The room was spacious for Tokyo, and comfortbaly fit a family of 4.

Arrival and check in was a nightmare - we had been in transit from Australia for 12 hours when we arrived and no staff at the entrace (and no streamlined passcode entry) made everything frustrating. We couldnt scan the kids passports on the machine set up at the entrance and once we did get in I was disapointed to see they hadn't made the 2 kids beds, which we had to organise ourselves.

Location is perfect. Right in the heart of Akasaka's nightlife district. There is so much to do in the area. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The beds were comfortable and there was extra bedding available. Surprisingly great price to space tradeoff for the center of Tokyo. Also, you are a very short walk from the G-Line that connects to the rest of the city in just a few stops. Between the great location and convenience we would definitely stay again.

Just small details. Since the hotel has no staff, it would be helpful to have a broom or swiffer available in the unit itself. You had to head up to the 6th floor common area to fetch one. Also, there is just a single coin operated washer/dryer combo upstairs. It's good to have, but if one person is doing the laundry, you're out of luck. Besides that we had no complaints. Very happy with the facility. Probably the best value we've experienced from our many trips to Tokyo.

Akasaka is the perfect place to stay, as it is just 30 minute train ride away from Shibuya, Ginza, Omotesando, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Akihabara. So no one destination is too far from where this hotel is. There's also 24 hour Family Mart nearby. Also, there's Tully's coffeeshop nearby that opens at 7am. We stayed in the 4-people room, and we enjoyed it so much. Trash was collected everyday, and towels also exchanged everyday. Furthermore, in the laundry room you can also get extra towels and toiletries if needed.

If you can provide umbrella in the room, that would be awesome. Also, as the washing machine is washer/dryer, so the drying part is not dry enough. But we didn't feel our stay was badly affected, as we really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was great, with two beds and two futons and, an American-style kitchen, all embedded in one space, with a bathroom. Perfect the place to leave your shoes before you enter into the apartment. It got all you may need. On the top floor, a washing machine and all kind of replacements: towels, kitchen paper,... There is no physical staff, it is a tablet that gives you access by checking-in on it. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Lots of restaurants nearby, and the apartment was flawlessly noise isolated.

The smell of food in the elevator (not all the time, because by night it was yummy...), because of the restaurant located in the same building. It happens only in the elevator. Not all the water hetaers in the world work the same, and the instructions were not very complete. You need to rapidly open and close a pair of times the faucet to get hot water. The guests that do not understand that the garbage has to be left outside the apartment IN THE MORNING before 9 am, not the night or the afternoon before. For God's shake, follow exactly the rules of the places you visit. Japanese people are wonderful and they know how to respect others, do the same.
