The room was lovely and comfortable

My fault but the Ginza area is not for me and to far out from the centre I also did not know that if I misplaced my room card key I would have to pay that should have been explained to me on check in

- Excellent location. It is very close to the Ginza shopping district and Tokyo station. - Great rooms with ample amenities, they provide bottled water. Room is small but that is the case for most of the hotel at this range. - Excellent inclusive breakfast with plenty of varieties in the Monterey Ginza hotel. The breakfast had both Japanese and western options. - Very clean and tidy place.

- An early check-in would have been better. We reached around 1:30PM but the concierge was very strict about the timing of check-in. - Need to mention the breakfast type (buffet at Monterey Ginza hotel/ set menu breakfast) - Receptionists should know a little better English. But then again this is probably the problem with the entire Japan.

Staff fulfilled our requests, e.g. iron and ironing board (rented out for free), borrowing scissors, having our luggage shipped to our next destination. Location was excellent - only a few steps away from Ginza Itchome subway station exit, within 5 min walk from Kyobashi and Takaracho subway stations, and also within 10 min walk from Ginza subway station and Tokyo station. There is a 7-11 next door and a drugstore nearby. We bought umbrellas when it was raining. Bathroom amenities are excellent.

We only had one pillow, which is a bit sad. Place is a bit dated, and the restaurant on 1F is closed early.

Loved the bathtub for a nice soak after a full day of walking around Tokyo. The location is also excellent since it’s in the middle of Ginza and close to a lot of shops and two different train line stations. The theme of the whole hotel gives you a French/Parisian vibe and the bedrooms are also decorated that way. They also gave you two sizes of silk pajamas to use! Saves you luggage space for pajamas.

The rooms are quite small for its price but it’s somewhat understandable since it’s in the middle of the city. It was just challenging to lay down luggages to unpack with the space of the room.

Location in Ginza was good, fairly close to train and subway. Hotel was very very quiet. Bathroom slightly larger than budget hotels. Great hot water and water pressure. Main shopping street (see more on this below) was closed to traffic on Friday and Saturday evening and was filled with people shopping and/or strolling.

Continental breakfast option was a little pricey at 30+Yen. Hotel was slightly faded and did not quite live up to the description boutique. Shopping was high end with a lot of designer stores, like Gucci, Balenciaga, Harry Winston, Vera Wang, and many more.

Location is excellent. Staff is super friendly.

The hotel owners are very polite, and the lobby is elegant and fragrant. Although the room is small, two 29-inch suitcases cannot be opened, but they can be placed under the bed. Although the room is small, everything is available, and towels and garbage are changed regularly. It is very Great service! It's very, very close to the station. There are 7-11, desserts, and coffee shops next to it. It's right in the center of Ginza. It's very suitable for a slow walk to Tokyo Train Station. There are a lot of things to visit.

It would be better if there is breakfast!

I love the location!! It's a perfect place for shopping and traveling everywhere due to its proximity to Tokyo Station and many other metro and train stations! It's literally a few steps away Ginza-Dori avenue and you have a Family mart practically besides the Hotel. I really liked it! Loved the kettle, mini fridge, complementary water and amenities such as hair claws, bodywash towels, coffee, green and black tea, and so on.

The room doesn't have much electric plugs but they added 2 more on the night-table to make up for it.

Location is fantastic & very safe for a solo female traveller. The room was spacious for a single size and I unpacked a large case in wardrobe and the basket for clothes & spread out using the desk. I liked the bed and slept so well here. I stayed 7 nights and found it quiet for sleeping and a very safe neighbourhood. The elevators were very fast!! The bathroom was compact but very generous with amenities and I liked the bath. Water was always hot. I bought all my snacks at 7 Eleven and the healthy Lawsons downstairs & used the fridge. Front desk were always attentive, helped me book a taxi. I liked that you could have a late check out for a very reasonable hourly rate. I would recommend the property and would like to return here! This is a French style hotel, I booked for the location and price at the time & it exceeded my expectations. The room was always cleaned promptly daily & loved the fresh pyjamas! Thank you for an outstanding experience from a fussy traveller!!

Quiet hotel in a quieter area of Tokyo. Close to all the big shops of Ginza and very easily accessible via subway. The room was small (if you crave huge mid west rooms) but had everything I needed. I had room to spread out my case and move about. The bathroom was very well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Google Maps kept sending me to the back of the building. So if you find yourself looking at a service area... just head around the corner.
