Not too small for two people and the bed is soft with two pillows. The location is close to the subway and easy to find. The area is very lively at night so you may hear some noise if they are very loud but usually not that noisy. Close to many mini marts and restuarants, including Mcdonald. Close to tax-free shop and also donki, which is around 10-15 mins walk (If you can't find it, try searching 'Picasso Akasaka'on google map). The staffs can speak English, even not fluent and smooth but they still tried their best to help us. The cafe next door is a good place to work with your labtop (pasta with lemon cream and clam soup were tasty but red pasta with seafood is so-so).

The breakfast area is actually a cafe next door and not buffet style. Needs adapter to charge your labtop.

everything was just very nice and everything went well. we arrived earlier than the check in time but we could leave our luggages at the lobby. the room was tiny but of course those are the normal standard sizes of Japanese accommodation. all was perfectly clean and neat, bathroom had a bathtub and they provide pj, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste that change everyday with clean ones. location was perfect, in the middle of all the main places and very close to restaurants and markets, also to several metro station. The closest was like 3 minutes walking

the only uncomfortable thing was that there were no window in the bathroom and the one on the room couldn’t open it so we couldn’t have a view. then the knowledge of English of the staff wasn’t much good but we could understand each other. but they were very kind and polite all the time!

Location is perfect, just 100m away from akasaka-mitsuke station. Alot of restaurants with good food nearby, and other shops to shop for souvenirs like skincare, or electronics devices as there is a BIC at the station. Easy to travel to different areas like ginza, shibuya, shinjuku. Staff was very helpful and they allowed us to keep our luggage before check in time, room is small size but considered decent in central area.

They centralized the air conditioning system during autumn and winter, which is quite warm at some point of time as we can’t control the temperature at all.

The location was the peak of everything! It is very near Akasaka-Mitsuke station which have the Ginza and Marunouchi Line which conveniently brings you to the main attraction sites in Tokyo. It also brings you to platforms that allow you to change whenever we go out of Tokyo and to other cities. It takes a little above an hour ride from Narita airport, should be nearer for Haneda Airport. It is a 10 mins walk to Nagatacho Station which is the Yurakucho Line that will bring you to the Keiyo line that directly brings you to Disneyland or Disney Sea :) It is also a walking distance to Akasaka Station which is the heart of all the Harry Potter stuffs there :). The property is clean, slightly bigger than the other Japanese hotels. The toilet has a bathtub that allows you to have a soak after a long day. The staffs are very nice and sweet too! :)

nothing is bad, to my experience here. Just note that there is a window but it is frosted, so you can't see what is outside, which is fine to us. Only some guests may be a bit noisy and you can hear them from the outside of your room. so the walls is not as soundproof. but other than that, everything is good!

We love how close it is to the metro stations (less than 5mins walk). There's an elevator if you go through the one in the BIC building. Eateries are plenty. Same goes to the conbini, drugstore, tax free shops, etc. Definitely a great value for the location. We're a family of 4 including a 7yr old and a 4yr old. Staff are very helpful. They change our towels everyday although they don't really clean the room for you as you may need to pay extra but it's okay. We're mostly out in the early mornings and only back in the evening ready to wind down and repeat the same process the next day.

I was glad they have a coin laundry machine on the 2nd floor however the dryers are so dusty. Everytime I open the door after my cloths were done drying, some amount of dusts would flew onto my face causing me to sneeze uncontrollably lol. I wish they could have better laundry machines. Took my cloths 1.5hr to really dry in their dryers. But then again I'm grateful they have a laundry area because I'm not sure there's any around that area.

The location is ideal. It is literally 30 seconds away from Akasaka Mitsuke station which connects to a number of different metro lines. The coin laundry was very handy as well, as our family had been in Japan for a week already and the previous hotel in Kansai lacked these facilities. Our kids loved the free donuts that are available in the coffee station (limited supply daily).

Disappointingly there was a pair of used women’s stockings left next to the bed when we checked in. This was raised with the hotel staff who came and removed them.

Great location to the Mrt station. Superb hotel breakfast at the Excelsior Cafe. Rooms were clean n facilities right up to the Yukata robes & toiletries were outstanding. Staff were all courteous n polite, especially one guy named Jeff who has excellent customer service attitude. Doughnuts provided free at night at the lobby is really a wonderful gesture-keep it up! Free coffee too 24 hrs at lobby

Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Cleanliness was great as well. Train station very close by. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel.

Rooms are small. Great for solo travelers or couples. It had all the essentials needed for us to feel comfortable so we didn’t mind how small it is. Don’t bring too much suitcases because it will take up space. Not sure if the hotel accommodates bigger size room and beds for families 3 and up. So if you thinking of coming here with a large party, don’t hesitate to call the hotel to check.

Quite spacious for a Japanese room, lots of desk and bar space, two big windows with nice dark blinds and a well-functioning AC. Kettle, tea, fridge. Nice and easy to use shower.

See-through bathroom door very unfortunate if not travelling alone; if booked for two people, bed should have two blankets, bed could be softer People should be told how the check-in (at 3pm check-in time so very crowded) works (in this case: go to the desk, announce your name and be put on a list, and then wait until your name is called) - only managed it because a fellow traveller told me and then, while I waited at the desk to have my name put on the list while the staff ignored me, actually told the staff to put me on the list because I had been there longer than some of the others
