This was my first visit to Tokyo so I am no expert, but I thought this was a great location: a few interesting local attractions to get you in the mood and then great access to the rest of the city through the underground network. Our first room was fine but rather small. We paid a very modest supplement to upgrade to a 2-bed room when that became available and it was excellent. I appreciated the reception staff's flexibility in making this happen.

The first room was manageable but quite small for two. Breakfast had a huge selection but I felt might have been better if they had concentrated on making a few things well.

Excellent hotell, nicely situated about ten minutes from Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station. It is oposite a park and a shrine, with a beautiful view over Shinjuku. Staff was nice and helpful, room clean and bright.

Location very convenient for getting about Tokyo. Staff made us feel welcome

Our room was very small and not suitable for people staying more than one night as there was very limited storage space for hanging clothes and no drawers. Our suitcases were stored for us in the hotel luggage room.

The staff was attentive to our preferences even without us having to ask. For Example; we liked to sit at a window table during breakfast, the staff picked up on this and pointed out window seats when we came down for the remainder of our stay. Speaking of which, breakfast there is incredible!

I originally booked the smallest room, and for more than one person that would have been pretty tight. The staff happily showed us the upgrade options and we snagged a bigger room. It worked out great, and we even ended up on a higher floor with a great view of the fox shrine and park across the street.

Clean rooms with comfy beds. Friendly staff that were happy to assist. It was handy to have a reasonable breakfast buffet on site, and train / subway stations were relatively close.

Not uncommon in Tokyo, but very cramped rooms and bathroom. The top of the toilet cistern was the best place to spread out any of your belongings in there. The design of the bath meant you had to have the shower pressure turned down a lot to avoid a serious flood. The breakfast buffet was a little expensive for what it was. I'd suggest the nearby Doutor store, less variety but cheap and fresh.

Loved the design of the hotel and the rooms very stylish and comfortable. Also enough space to put your clothes. Very good breakfast and selection - more options for Asian cuisine but even for western taste more than enough to find.

Location is nice but metro stations are quite a bit of walking so 8 min minimum to each of them which can cost a bit more time and energy. The staff is very friendly but we had a few cases where the English skills were actually rather weak so could do with a bit more improvement since in this business it’s crucial.

Located close to the underground and easy to find on the main road. Close to busy night life if you want it and Hie Shrine which is free to visit. No road noise inside the room but a good view from the window of busy Tokyo Road and high rise buildings lit at night. Staff very helpful and keen to assist. Pyjamas provided are super comfy and the beds comfortable too. Left luggage facilities available and very appreciated on my last day.

I didn’t like that they have to make up your room every two days. I prefer to be left alone.

September 2023

The hotel is located right at the edge of the Akasaka district, with plenty of dining options and just a couple of minutes walk away from Akasaka-Mitsuke metro station, with direct access to Tokyo station, Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc. The room was always kept clean, and accessories changed on a regular basis.

The room was a bit tight for 3 adults, and apart from the lobby/reception and the breakfast room, the hotel has only limited facilities. No bar or coffee corner to sit down and have a drink. This meant, it was all pretty much an in-and-out from the room.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping never disturbed us, but thoroughly sorted our room when needed. Our room never had any issues with other noises from neighbouring rooms, we had a lovely big bath / shower suited to western heights, tv and great Wi-Fi. They offered plenty of services at the front desk and had many free amenities and instructions in the hotel if you preferred to spend your time privately.

Air conditioning could have been better, sometimes the room was stuffy or hot overnight, but this wasn’t unbearable or a deal breaker. Additionally, our room was a bit lowly lit but this wasn’t a problem overall.
