Room was as expected for Tokyo, small but well appointed and great location near Kanda and other stations for easy access. 7/11 around the corner, supermarket 4min walk, family mart all close by. Staff were very nice and helpful, lent me an umbrella during the downpour :) and were very helpful in calling up restaurants for bookings etc. Staff all spoke very very good English and were always available. Perhaps the best feature of the room was the full black out blinds. given we were in Tokyo over the summer with sunrise from 4:30AM... the black out blinds/curtains kept the room pitch black no matter what time of day. this allowed for an awesome deep deep deep sleep to rest those legs after 20,000 steps a day.

Cleaning is done 2x a week, which isnt too bad for a short stay but for longer stays will lead to foreign guests thinking it is ok to leave bags and bags of rubbish in the hallway outside their hotel rooms and expect it to be picked up. this leads to you waking up/coming back to your floor full of rubbish bags and used towels which will only be picked up every 3-4 days. The rooms were vacuumed well enough, but if you are super sensitive, they are really dusty under the bed. Not a huge deal for us.

Nice place to stay in Tokyo. Very close to multiple subway stations/lines. You can get a drink and soup for free at set times in the lobby. Friendly staff, Rea was an absolute treasure. Thank you so much for making us feel this welcomed.

We arrived on Friday and left on Monday after 10 days total. We were informed that the cleaning days would be Monday and Thursday. Unfortunately however cleaning didn’t occur on either day. We went to the front desk on both days to inquire and were told both times it would be solved the next day, however this wasn’t the case. Only the third time it was actually fixed which meant our room was cleaned on the Saturday before leaving. We are however under the impression that this was a one-off mix-up somehow and it will definitely not stop us from coming back.

Fantastic location near Kanda station. Rooms were pleasantly clean. Enjoyed the nightly takoyaki suppers and that there was a dining area if we had takeouts.

Not sure if it was Booking.com's issue or the hotel's, but staff claimed they did not receive my booking information even though I had already paid for the booking. Thankfully staff still honoured the booking, though it took awhile to sort out the issue. Also, maybe it was just me but the pillows deflated quite quickly so had some neck and shoulder ache after 2 nights.

A budget-friendly hotel 4 minutes away from the Kanda Station. The area around the hotel is lively with some really cool izakayas and the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean too, but some sheets has stain marks which can make some people uncomfortable (from what I've seen it looked and felt like the sheets were washed so I'm assuming those stain marks were just stubborn marks that didn't come off during the laundry). Rooms are small (well, that's the case in all budget hotels so that's not really a minus) but not unmanageable (for reference, we went there with 3 luggages).

Great location near the Kanda station, with access to JR lines to get quickly to all the city's attractions. There are a bunch of restaurants near the station and a couple of 7-Eleven nearby. The hotel is modern, rooms are a bit small but very functional. There was a small issue with cleanliness on the first day and Ria (hope I wrote it right 🙈) made an effort to get it fixed immediately, many thanks! In the evenings there's a happy hour with free drinks and after that free snacks. All in all a great stay. I'll return here next time I'm in Tokyo!

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in Tokyo for a lot of reasons. Mainly, its proximity to the Kanda Station which is also near adjacent stops like Yurakucho for Ginza, Ueno, Akihabara, and even Tokyo itself. There are also a lot of nearby restaurants and convenience stores so food is not a problem at all. The staff were also very warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Always all smiles and ready to greet or assist you with any needs. It's also great that they have Rhea on board because she really made the experience extra special for a solo Filipino traveler and have a sense of familiarity from home. A huge steal for me is the 24-hour coffee service in the lounge, which I find very thoughtful and convenient, especially during the late nights and early mornings. There are also a lot of sockets to charge your devices while you chill at the lounge. They also offer milk and juices for breakfast which is so extra. But what really made this stay a next-level experience was the free liquor and udon daily for short periods. The plum wine was superb and the udon was just perfect for winter! I got to stay on the 13th floor, which gave me a nice view of the towering cityscape in the area. And the single room was quite bigger than what I initially expected, which is a welcome surprise because I could easily fix my luggage any time. I definitely see myself coming back here because it was such a great experience overall. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Sui Kanda! You guys are amazing. See you all soon, hopefully!

While I understand that this can't be avoided at times due to capacity and cleaning concerns, I hope there will soon be an option do early check-in especially for guests coming from red eye flights. Since the check-in time was at 3PM, I tried roaming around Ueno and Ginza but had to spend a couple of hours in the hotel lounge after because I was dead tired already. They were still quick to offer me coffee while I waited, which I greatly appreciate. Still, a great stay overall, just a tiny recommendation.

The staff was extremely polite and friendly, making it a pleasure to communicate with them. The room was small, but it was nice, comfortable, and clean. I had a great city view from the 13th floor, which added to the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Kanda subway station, just about 400-500 meters away. Amenities like single-use toothbrushes, face wash, lotions, face masks, and other essentials are available at reception. There is also free tea, coffee, and drinking water available to guests, along with some extras like noodles during special hours.

Regarding the console over the bed with recesses for the lamp and chargers, I noticed that the recesses were not clean - there was accumulated dust and hair, making it seem as though that area is rarely being cleaned. The bathroom is very small, but this is typical for Japan, so no real complaints.

I actually booked this hotel last minute because there was an issue at my last hotel. I am so glad for that mishap though because this was definitely my favourite hotel during this trip, and it's very reasonably priced too. Great location; it's close to transit but off the beaten path so it's convenient but still quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were all wonderful and very pleasant. There's a very chill and welcoming vibe here. Coffee, tea, and water were always readily available when you returned. The room was small but comfortable and the efficient use of space was very creative. The bathroom was probably one of the more spacious and cleaner ones in all the hotels I've stayed in in Japan. Housekeeping is not daily, which is very environmentally friendly. Finally, my favourite part of the hotel: the entire place is air conditioned so it's very comfortable when you enter, especially during the heatwave. The a/c in the room also was already on when I entered, which made coming back from 37C so much better.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The area was nice and the hotel is very close to Kanda train station. There were vending machines in building next door for drinks, and 7/11 just around the corner. Although we didn't use it, there is a large common area downstairs.

The beds were very hard. It is a very thin mattress on top of flat timber. The staff gave us extra mattress protectors to soften it up a bit but if you are sensitive to hard beds, take note. The room was very small but that was expected.

The hotel offer delicious sandwiches and various drinks for refreshment during breakfast. They also offer free drinks and noodle soup at a specific time in the afternoon and evening.I liked also the location,as it is very accessible.Kanda metro station is just few steps away ,and 7eleven is nearby. The staff are very helpful and friendly, like Rhea,So, and Philip.Even the manager of the hotel is very helpful.

The room is not so big,so don't bring huge luggages or many luggages. The bed is very comfortable though and everything a guest needs in a room is there, like refrigerator,TV,safe, built in table, blower. The hotel has also a washing machine available beside the reception. The bathroom is also good.
