Superb breakfast with every possible option catered for. Staff were friendly, efficient and very accommodating. Spectacular views from every terrace. Lovely swimming pool with towels provided and plenty of sunbeds. Lovely room with excellent bathroom.

Price of drinks was rather on the high side - particularly soft drinks. 4 500ml bottles of still water to have by the pool were in the region of €18!

Breakfast was very good and the beach area was perfect with no need to rush in the morning in order to get a spot. The bus stop right in front of the hotel is very convenient to reach the old town.

The hotel is lacking some maintenance. In our room the minibar wasn't cooling at all, only one elevator out of 3 was working properly during our stay. Door handles to get back from the beach were broken, forcing guests to follow a longer way back to the rooms.

From the moment you walk into the lobby, you will be amazed by the panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea. Fortunately, you will have ample opportunity to enjoy the view from multiple areas in the hotel: dining room, piano bar terrace, room balconies and the pebbled beach. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the property being extremely busy in August. The meal buffets were plentiful with many options. Desserts were very enjoyable. Our highlight was spending our days by the sea as it was so clear, clean and the perfect temperature. We usually spend some time in the pool, but no need on this trip. We especially appreciated the beach bar waiters and staff. Maro was so kind to our family and remembered our daily orders. Oh, and the best part was it was easy to get enough towels for your family to stay comfortable and dry!

The front desk staff seemed a little short staffed, and so check-in and other interactions took longer than I would anticipate for a 5-star hotel. The hotel is at least a 15 minute ride from the Old City, so just something to keep in mind. Food options are limited for lunch unless you leave the property. If you walk straight out of the hotel and onto the sidewalk across, you will find yourself about 5 minutes away from a small strip of stores and restaurants. These stores have all the basic needs you to stock up your room or for last minute beach supplies.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful...probably the best we've ever had at any hotel. The beach and pool areas were great. The restaurants and the lobby/terrace bar were really nice. And the view from every window on every floor was simply breathtaking. A wonderful hotel and we will be back for sure. The location is also great with other things to do in the area and the port is only 5 min drive away.

Sadly, our room was not up to the mark when we arrived. There were many spider webs(on the lamp, in the minibar cupboard, near the door and in the bathroom), shoe marks on the floor, grease marks on the headboard of the bed and ants on one side table. The cleaning staff came in but only one spider Web was removed and the floors were cleaned but still not well enough. The linen and the rest of the bathroom was very clean. For a 5 star this was disappointing but we didn't want to bother the staff. (We had the very last room at the end so maybe it was just not used as much as the rest.) We needed a late check out so we were shifted to another room that was super clean. So this was just a one off it seems.

Wonderful room and everything was thought of. Couldn’t ask for more from the room. Welcome drinks and fruit was a lovely touch. Beautiful unique uninterrupted view of the sea. We stayed in their VLevel service with breakfast. It allowed us access to a lovely lounge area and we used both indoor and outdoor pools. Staff were very polite and helpful. We were given some tips about local restaurants and shops. We also used the shop at the hotel to buy bus tickets and snacks.

The quality of breakfast could have been better. We didn’t like the bacon or eggs provided. So don’t expect a cooked breakfast as you would imagine. However we did enjoy the fruit and pastries. Unfortunately we had an incident on our last morning when we sat at a table that another guest said he had reserved as he had already placed a glass of water on it. It was all very odd and we think it was not the hotels fault. However perhaps going forward the hotel could provide guests with a ‘reserved’ notice they could use to mark the table.

Hotel was very nice and great range of options in terms of the pools and private beach. The views are amazing and the food in the restaurants was really nice with good amount of options. The staff were very friendly overall and the housekeeping team do a fantastic job with the rooms. Good transport links to the old town too, the number 6 bus runs every couple of minutes and tickets can be bought in the shop in the hotel. Get on and then ride to the last stop which is directly infront of the old town.

I feel signage could be improved just to try help you navigate your way around the hotel. Especially the wellness centre off the indoor pool, its great but a bit hidden. The valamar app for the hotel needs to be improved, i tried to order room service from it but it said it was unavailable at the time, when i rang from the phone then I got no answer. Would be great if the app listed the menus for the restaurants in the hotel so you could have and idea of where you would like to eat. Would be great also if the tv in the hotel room allowed you to cast netflix etc. as the channels are limited

Its amazing beach, great for family fun and fitness swimming. I swam 2 km daily, to Copacabana Beach and back; there is some boat traffic when crossing beach buoy lines, but its safe with an open water swimming buoy. The buffet restaurant is a very good value: has a large selection and several items (specially the meats) change daily. Taxi to/from Old Town takes 10 mins and costs 16 Eur if using the company the hotel has a contract with. Finally, a neighboring Valamar property has a car rental company on site, which simplifies (car) pick up and return

This hotel was amazing! The beach is attached and the views from the different levels are spectacular. We’re coming back for sure!

The 5 course meal for the restaurant that requires 24 hour notice to reserve was not impressive. The view was amazing but neither of us finished our food, and I’m not a picky eater. This restaurant was the ONLY negative of our stay.

The hotel was great. The view of the islands and the sea from the lobby and the outdoor pool was perfect. Also, the hotel was beachfront, which was great. The food was also good and delicious. The staff were kind and taking care of cleaning with high standards.

Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. However, maybe the hours of the spa and swimming pool could be extended. I can also suggest to have coffee machines in the room, there were powder coffee, however, I guess for a 5-star hotel having a coffee machine is a must.
