We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door, facilities were very clean and inviting. Rooms were large, clean and the decor was nice. Bathroom was very clean and everything you needed for your stay was provided. Breakfast area was beautiful, pool area very nice with comfortable seating and there was a great gathering place right outside the pool door that we enjoyed with our Son and his Fiance. We would most certainly stay again if in that area. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is in Richmond, Virginia or the surrounding area. We stayed overnight for the Nascar race

The staff was wonderful, very inviting and attentive. The room was very clean and while I don’t usually take advantage of the usual complementary breakfast we did on this stay and it was great.

Very mild dislikes but the room was road side and late afternoon and early mornings there was a lot of road noise even on the 5th floor. But also keep in mind that broad street turn into the autobahn when there are no cops in sight. The only other dislike was we didn’t find the weighted comforter appealing at all.

The location is in Short Pump, just outside of Richmond proper. It's very near restaurants, coffee shops, and a few grocery stores. Great little indoor pool, a nice outside courtyard to relax in, and a beautiful view of the wooded area out back. Loved the fitness center too. The staff was A-MA-ZING. So friendly, and polite, and nearly all the staff I spoke to were bilingual (which is such an asset and they should be paid accordingly!).

It would have been nice to have an option to cast Netflix or something on the huge TV. The channels weren't great.

Was there on a weekend. Large group of middle school athletes and coaches took over the facility. Noise really didn't bother me much in my room, but the lobby was taken over completely, as was the breakfast room as they enjoyed their takeout dinner. Next a.m., had to skip my breakfast benefit. Good location, but because of the other major booking, not sure paying for one Sat. night was worth the price!

Room was clean and comfortable.

They did not have a record of my reservation from Booking.com and could not honor the original prices I was given. Did not provide cups for the bathroom, only paper coffee cups. I chose not to have my room cleaned, so I had to ask for daily coffee supplies and extra toilet paper.

Breakfast was good, but I don’t normally eat breakfast but coffee and a muffin The bed was comfortable, fitted sheet was too small. I like the nightlight in bathroom so didn’t need to cut on lights Loved the Welcome we got when arrived

I booked through a 3rd party so I wasn’t given the rewards as a Honors member. We were there to chill and relax. But when spouse is watching tv,it disturb me while sleeping. We’ve stayed many times at Hampton Inn Suites and always had a suite where someone can watch tv opposite of bedroom.

Front desk women Alexis, was exceptional. Kind, considerate, thoughtful, quick to greet us and make sure we had what we needed. Switched our room to accommodate our desire to be on the ground floor. Quiet hotel in a superb area, lots to do, easy to reach Richmond, and other areas. Amazing restaurants, and a beautiful mall down the street, Wegmans across the street. Wow!

Can't think of a thing.

The overall look and feel of the hotel was amazing! Hand sanitizer available at every elevator. The room view was great it overlooked the trees and landscape which gave us more privacy.

It would've been great if the hotel had a jacuzzi. The pool temperature was very cold. The area the pool is located in was heated and you could feel the temperature change was you walked in however, we couldn't fully enjoy the pool. That was a bummer.

It is a fairly new hotel with clean rooms and a friendly staff. After a long drive, my grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool. There are many nice restaurants within a short drive from the hotel. Also, the hot breakfast at the hotel was pretty good.

The hotel was new and in great condition. Rooms were spacious and modern. Very clean, nice shower, big TV...Carrie at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming and informative. She did a great job and was the perfect friendly face to have upon arrival. Fresh coffee and tea in the lobby all day. Location is great with lots of shopping and restaurants with a 3 block radius. Would highly recommend.
