it was a very nice and convenient property. good deal for price. liked the stores and restaurant in hotel and the room. I also liked that there was parking at the hotel but kind of think that the parking shouldn’t cost extra. there was some confusion about whether I got double charged for the room and the security deposit but I’m still looking into that. the hotel was also right next to a venue where we saw a show which was nice.

the front desk staff could have been more welcoming and responsive. but was ok.

The Staff was fantastic, extremely personal and friendly and accommodating. Fucia and her husband and their little store were great, very friendly and everything you need.

The restaurant was beautiful but WORST hotel food we have ever experienced. Such a shame, everything high rating but food was HORRIBLE. They need a new chef. If there was a rating for food of 1-10 we would have given a “negative” number. Food, looked old leftovers warmed up. Truly disappointing in the midst of a great stay. I would stay here again but avoid the restaurant.

We stayed there because we went to event at Prudential Center, and the location was so close to it.

The hotel provided nothing, even the bottle of water :(

The hotel is rich in history. Albert Einstein has stayed here before as well as four sitting Presidents. There is a wonderful restaurant on site. Whole Foods is across the street. The atmosphere inside is very calming. Uber was consistently within 4 minutes of the hotel.

The elevator was very slow. We had to ask for a refrigerator and coffee pot. They brought them promptly when we asked about them not being in the room as described. The fridge they brought was already cold so there wasn't any downtime there.

Great location downtown. Well lit, Hotel parking as well as underground parking across the street;Facing Military Park, a clean & secure atmosphere with carousel on site..adjacent to PNC art center, Walking distance to Newark Penn station & Broad Street train stations, Loved the very hot water for my extended shower!!😘…Restaurant & bar on site, somewhat pricey for drinks, lots of food choices..I had a simple cheeseburger L&T and fries, which was really good, fresh.

1)Window opened too wide; Dangerous to small children or even to an adult that might lean or push out too far & fall, especially on high floors! I was really shocked at that.🧐 ..2)No dial tone on the phone..I thought it was not working until I realize you have to press the speaker first, then dial; that includes with room service or calling the front desk. 3)Finally, I wish there was a pool or at least a spa area.. I would definitely stay here again the room is small but it was quiet.I enjoy the view even from the fourth floor..

The location of the hotel in downtown of Newark was perfect. The location gave me a chance to walk around and enjoy the view. The hotel itself was great, clean, friendly staff, took care of my travel needs and provided me service to the train station when it was time to check out. Also, the housekeeping staff was friendly and always greeted me with a smile. My room was clean and I had a great view overlooking downtown Newark. It was a great stay and would love to go back and re-visit again this fall. I'll give it a perfect 9.5

I didn't like that I had to check-out and return to Atlanta.

What I did not like is that we didn't have a microwave the refrigerator in my room was not working and it was 🥶 and another thing that I had to sit there and wait for a room and if y'all have that many people coming in there y'all should give people numbers so you can call the numbers so you let other people that just come through the door jump in front of people that have been sitting there for an hour oh and the restaurant prices for a soda $4 that was too much money y'all need to have vending machines somewhere oh and another thing y'all don't serve breakfast

I love how close to the Prudential Center it is as well as the space available in the room. the rooms don’t feel cramped.

the key cards for the elevator and room are so extremely sensitive and deactivate more easily than any I’ve dealt with anywhere else. If it comes within an inch of your phone when both are sitting on a table, it’s deactivated. it’s extremely frustrating. The day I checked it they were scrambling to get rooms clean for guests checking in and who were attending the kpop concert happening at the Prudential Center. The lobby was packed with people waiting for rooms to be cleaned (at 3pm) and to check in just a few hours before the show was to start (doors opened at 6pm and was to start around 7:30). Everyone was stressed.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly

I put in at the front desk for a 4:15 AM wake up call to catch the 5 o'clock shuttle to the airport for my flight. The call never came

Nice and clean, good location. Liked how there was a security guard in the lobby. Having to use your room key for the elevator is a cool feature.

The staff were not very nice. When checking in the man answered a personal phone call and had it on speaker. I waited in line for 10 min to check out, only for the woman to tell me to put my key in the drop box... Also charging an extra $20 for parking on top of the room price seemed kind of crazy to me.
