We have stayed in this hotel before, after staying in other hotels on Broad Street. It's great advantage is that it is in a quiet square just off the main street which means that if you are staying at weekends you do not have to deal with rowdy drunken revellers at the entrance to the hotel! A spacious clean well-lit car park very close to the hotel. The bar proved to be a little oasis on a very packed saturday night in the city!

Everything was great. A very small criticism would be that every room we have stayed in has a heavy bulky chair in front of the wardrobe which is heavy and difficult to move and nowhere to re-locate it so it's difficult to access the cupboard and the safe - but it's a small matter.

Staff were very friendly/ welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, it was very clean. The room was warm however Ken ar reception was more than happy to help and put a fan in our room- he even turned it on for when we got back so the room was nice and cool! We stayed here yesterday 29/08/23 as we were seeing Peter Kay at the Utilita and I could not have picked a better hotel to stay in- close to venue and a good base for birmingham shopping! The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice from cereal to full english, pancakes or waffles and pastries.

The room was very warm with no air con.

Fabulous location for simple easy access to the Utilita Arena, the Sea Life Centre, Lego Discovery. The shower had plenty of hot water and the shower head was an absolute torrent. Nice restaurant and bar area with 0% alcohol lager on tap. Great selection on the breakfast buffet and nice menu for the evening. Had the pixie one night that had loads of cheese and the sirloin was very tasty needing only light seasoning. Sea bass fillets were a delight. Great reception staff for checking in and out. Underground carpark was very handy.

The king size rooms are a bit tight when using a manual wheelchair. Although turning around was possible, it was a bit tricky. The shower was a step into with a grab handle inside but no fold down seat. The choice of TV channels was limited to perhaps 20 or so. Carpark access was tight especially the exit route. Only stairs access from the carpark so a bit of a roll up the exit ramp and around to the front.

great location for Brindley Place and access to the rest of Birmingham. friendly staff, nice bar and a restaurant that was easy to be seated at. room was very nice, everything you needed for a short stay, was very clean and I had a decent view over the city. The bed was very comfortable. discounted car park ticket too! the bar had a good selection of drinks.

the food in the hotel restaurant was ok, main disappointment was lack of healthy options. but then there is the rest of Brindley Place right on the doorstep so may have been worth testing those restaurants instead of opting for convenience (it was raining and I’d already been out all day!)

Great facilities. Very helpful staff. Car park (commercial) just round the corner -easy to use with credit card. Easy drop off guests and luggage from car. Quick walk to venue. Lovely breakfast. Spacious bar and restaurant. Well equipped gym. Convenient check in/out times (although we had to leave early).

Nothing. Property was fantastic. As regards info I spent ages researching car parks on line. It listed car park booking essential. I didn’t realise there was a large typical multi story car park just round the corner till I got there and asked. I hadn’t booked. Got in fine. Maybe in the Summer booking is essential. Off peak it could just say booking highly recommended. (Car parking cost seemed typical for any of those in the centre).

Hotel was excellent. Staff were lovely chek in and check out was very straight forward. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and a good size. We dined in the restaurant for dinner, the food and service was excellent. Breakfast was very good, the self service worked very well with plenty of choice of cooked and cold options available, with friendly staff on duty. Access from the underground car park into the hotel is good but there is no lift. Luggage drop off at the entrance is recommended.

The underground car park entrance and exit is very tight to manoeuvre a large SUV, however the individual car parking spaces are a generous size.

It’s a lovely hotel with modern facilities. It’s clean, comfortable and provides very good accommodation within a vibrant area of Birmingham - ideal for anyone visiting Symphony Hall, the Aquarium and other popular venues. our room wasn’t big but it was spacious enough for our needs without feeling cramped. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise - modern but cosy and the food was excellent - we had dinner and breakfast and couldn’t fault it. The staff were superb and we were particularly impressed by Connor who made our experience that extra bit special. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone as well as booking again for ourselves.

Great location, friendly staff, breakfast 10 out of 10. Room was spacious just very warm. Check out times are great. Beds made fresh every day with clean towels. Staff very helpful when I complained about our air con not working we was giving a fan. Television didn't have many channels either. Would definitely come back tho as they was only problem we had. No major concern.

Welcoming, professional and friendly staff. Libby and lounge stylish and well presented. Room clean, bright with complimentary water and tea/coffee facilities.

Uncomfortable at breakfast when 2 loud and clearly intoxicated guests were allowed to breakfast with us - and there were young children present. The man even brought a bottle of Budweiser to the breakfast table. They were challenged by staff about whether they had booked/paid for breakfast but not about their presence or behaviour. It was 8am on a Sunday morning.

The room was clean, a good size and the bed was comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to where we needed to be. The carpark was situated very close to the hotel, which was a bonus too and great that you get a discount code from the hotel when you pre pay to use the carpark.

For the money you pay, there were no extras in the room, just the bare minimum. The breakfast room was too tiny for the number of guests. Felt over crowded, although there was a good selection of food. The hot drinks machine took a long time to make drinks.
