As the heating pipes run inside the room it was impossible to have a cool enough room for sleeping so we needed to open the windows and waste all the heat.

The location.. the reception staff.. breakfast was ok.. room service was nice and clean. Everything was more or less perfect.

During breakfast, we asked for Halal food, they responded ok we will consider that but nothing changed and we depend mainly in fruits. Second important issue, most of the wide world international hotels, started to consider the presence of water in their toilet bidet seats beside the traditional useage of tissues, instead of using the inconvenient portable washer ones by your guests. If this issue can be considered and provided in your bidet, as many international hotel apply it now it will be great.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Harrogate Crowne Plaza and cannot praise the hotel enough. From walking into the spacious reception area we were very impressed by the high standard. Check in was relatively quick and efficient and all of the staff we saw during our stay were very pleasant and helpful. We had a premium king-size room on the 8th floor and everything about the room was excellent. Massive, very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Large room with larger than usual hotel sized flat screen tv. A nice quiet room also meant we had very good sleeps. Towels were changed every day and complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch. Providing a non-slip bath mat was also a bonus. The fridge meant that we could have a nice chilled drink when we returned to our room in the evenings. The housekeeping team deserve a mention as this was done daily to an excellent standard - I don't think we could have found a speck of dust even if we had searched for one. Well done!! Breakfast was included in our booking and it far exceeded our expectations. A wide choice of continental (the yogurt and fresh fruit salad was delicious every morning) and a full range of cooked options could be followed by a variety of pastries and muffins for the very hungry. There is also a menu with the option of other hot breakfasts served directly to your table. Had eggs benedict one morning and was very pleased with it. We also asked the waiter for pots of tea at the table rather than use the machine and this was no problem. All in all, we could not find fault with anything and had an excellent stay here. This was our first visit and if we return to Harrogate it will definitely be our hotel of choice. Thanks go to all of the staff at the hotel for our wonderful stay.

Fabulous hotel & staff, exceptionally spotlessy clean, exceeded our expectations, our room was amazing, catered to my requirements for a bed above and beyond what I expected, it was so comfortable and a super kingsized bed, the best I've slept in and sooo comfy for my back, the view was fabulous, so lovely to wake up to in the morning, it took my breath away, beautiful Yorkshire & lovely people, staff in the hotel are fantastic so friendly, reception staff are very kind & catering staff are amazing and attentive, amazing selection of breakfast, enjoyed the food so much. Plenty of parking and lift straight down to the car park, excellent location, so glad we chose your beautiful hotel!!

This hotel is in a good location with parking underneath. The hotel is clean and modern. The club lounge was OK,serving hot and cold drinks and some snacks.The canapés are tasty served between 5pm/8pm.

Firstly the resturant. The coffee machine area wasn't clean and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days,also the hostesses stations in the resturant where they kept the cutlery wasn't clean. We had Acces to the club lounge,the beer was becks which my husband wasn't impressed with.They served white,rose and red wine.The white wine was lovely, but they only put a certain number of bottles out so when there gone they gone.The lounge gets busy between 5pm/8pm and we couldn't get a seat ,we were offered 2 seats for the 4 of us at the desk that's in the lounge. It certainly doesn't make you feel exclusive or vip,but more like a cheap skate! I wouldn't pay extra for this in future.

Got a great price through Booking.Com - top floor room and breakfast included. Staff were very welcoming and our room on 11th floor had fabulous views, and a massive comfy bed. An added bonus for me was a lovely deep bath - so often you can only get showers these days. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice for all tastes. Housekeeping was great, not intrusive and was happy to just top up supplies.

Hotel was probably a bit further out of town than we thought it was going to be, but maybe that was because you had to walk uphill to get into town. A nice hotel but probably a bit too 'corporate' for us - more suited to the business traveller- we would go somewhere with more character next time, but that's personal choice.

The bed was comfy. The view from the room was great. It was good to have a fridge in the drinks area so I could use proper milk for teas. The rooms were looked after very well although most of the time I only needed the bin emptying then I made the mistake of removing the appropriate label from the door handle and then the towels were changed in the afternoon! Very kind..but.

The hot/cold water mix on the tapes in the shower bath as non existent. The water was too hot for a shower and the only solution was to run a bath at 5pm to find that it was the right temperature to use at 10pm. I didn't get a replacement bath mat towards the end of my stay.

The breakfast was very good except for the availability of getting toasted bread. The toasters used were very slow to toast and a there were always people waiting there turn. Similar problems with the tea and coffee machines which were very slow causing lines of people waiting their turn. The bedrooms were fine, no problems experienced. The same with the bed which was comfortable .

Other than what I have mentioned above I found the experience of staying at this hotel to be an enjoyable one. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Central location superb. Everything in Harrogate is within easy walking distance. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful and well stocked for all tastes. Bar prices were a little high but Staff were friendly and engaging.

The staff could've been more specific when giving directions to the Dining room when we arrived so we wouldn't have to go looking in the morning. The Coffee machines were very slow in producing just a cup. Longer than a Barrista in Pret or Costapacket. Disappointed to find that the hotel had it's own section of the conference centre car park, but guests were expected to pay extra for the 'privilege at £10 pounds for the day. Transient guests would not be there for 24 hrs.

Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Most staff were friendly and helpful. One evening there were many food orders before ours and we had limited time. The kitchen staff went above and beyond and our three course dinner was served promptly.

At reception we were given wrong information about breakfast and dinner times. Our first dinner reservation was booked for 6pm, half an hour before the restaurant opened. The hotel was full of guests attending a conference with evening sessions so it would have been very helpful if the restaurant had opened earlier and extra staff on duty to accommodate our needs.
