15 minutes from coach station, 20 from railway. Centrally located in town, ground floor snooker / pool, rooms above. Clean room with small kitchen area, reasonable size. Comfy bed. Fridge, kettle, microwave and tiny hob. On a narrow street, which meant sunlight didn't blast through the window at dawn and wake us early! Lots to do nearby, several supermarkets, loads of bars and restaurants. A good base for exploring Riga.

Noisy bars across the narrow street keep going until 3am - Friday and Saturday night particularly lively. Our room (10) was on the first floor directly opposite a shots bar. However the windows of our room were triple glazed and cut noise considerably, and we slept well. Just means you can't leave the window open overnight. WiFi a bit erratic, signal often dropped out. No plug for kitchen sink, but we're used to that and carry our own.

Our stay at this apartment in Riga was simply perfect. The location was perfect: which allowed us to explore the city with ease, without needing any public transportation. Everything we needed was within reach, from restaurants to shops and the main tourist attractions. The apartment itself is original and atmosphere that made us feel right at home. A warmer approach with barista girl would have enhanced our overall experience.

Unbeatable location, easy to find, and we were able to check in early. I loved the apartment, the bed was super comfortable. Windows on the street, but with double glass, it would cut out all the noise. Nice shower too, soap is provided. Hairdryer too. There was an air heater, in the beginning I thought it wouldn't be enough, but the room got nice and toasty pretty fast.

There is no lift, but our apartment was on the first floor and the one flight of stairs was pretty ok. There is one more floor, so you might want to check with the property which floor you are booking if you have any issues.

The place is in the heart of the old town. They have rooms over a pool (billiards) bar but don't be scare, looks safe and it is quiet, players here were very polite. Also at the night there was not much noise and we slept very well. The so called "apartment" is quite small (better call it "room") but it has been recently (and well) restored, it is is clean and with a kitchenette. The manager is a kind and helpful person.

Would the room had been a little larger it would have been easier to go across the bed

very open airy rooms, me and my girlfriend went in the middle of january so it was very cold out (we like winter holidays) but honestly couldn’t tell in the room, it was lovely and warm , you’re also provided with an additional electric heater that we didn’t even need to turn on once which was great. the entire room and bathroom was spotless has to be one of the cleanest apartments we have stayed in, the bed was so comfy too every night we slept well :) the sports bar downstairs was amazing too no noise at any point of the evening/nighttime in our room, fairly priced drinks with a chilled out environment €10 for 1 hour of the pool table is a great way to start/end your evening in one of the most underrated old town/city’s in europe :) location wise you couldn’t get any better with a range of places to eat from small bites to fancy meals out to relaxed cafes and coffee shops (not to forget a wide range of bars museums and beautiful architecture) the staff were always so helpful and always available at the downstairs bar/reception, you’re really missing out if you visit riga and don’t stay here, we will definitely be coming back to stay here again :)

honestly nothing

Location was fantastic, 5 mins walk from the airport bus stop, right in the centre of the old town, all the sights and nice bars were very close by but our apartment was still very quiet. Comfy bed, good shower, little kitchenette

My only beef was that our particular room was very very much smaller than the picture, it only just fitted the bare minimum of furniture and there was no clothes storage apart from a coat rack. And the towels were quite small and thin. But it was comfy and quiet and the location couldn't have been better.

The apartment was clean and the location was great. The building was pretty interesting too. The staircase had a sort of medieval decor. The only complaint I would have is that the bed is not the most comfortable. But for a short stay, it was comfortable enough. The best part was the location - close to everything and very convenient.

Bed was not as comfortable as I'm used to but it wasn't that bad for a short trip.

Excellent location in the heart of Old Town. Despite of the central location it was not noisy at all from the street (but the rain was strangely noisy on the property). Room was clean. Checkin was easy. Internet worked well. There are many food options on the same street for lunch/dinner, but fewer for breakfast. (This property does not serve food).

The room was ok, although not exactly as shown on the pictures. The furniture was a bit more worn, and the room looks more spacious on the pictures.

Location smack in the middle of Old Town, on a party street. Access to apartment all night (not check-in though). Good staff, though be advised that they are running both apartment and a billiard hall. The staff was very willing to help.

The apartment got pretty warm during the day, and there was no air conditioning (which is noted on the page, admittedly). No elevator, but again, this was also as advertised. Slight hiccup with our late checkout, but we managed to talk to the staff and they solved it without any problem.

Could not get a better location for the christmas market and the old town, the access was superb and a lovely high ceiling room with all the amenities needed. Underfloor heating and great shower pressure. The staff were so helpful and nice, and overall a seamless experience.

Not good if you need a lift to get up stairs (on 3rd floor) but may be more ground floor rooms. Pipe was leaking under the sink but would be easily fixed.
