it is the most adorable detail oriented hotel situated right in the center of the viral restaurants and clubs on the main beach strip. the property has everything you will need for your stay including the pool, beach, restaurant, breakfast included, daily yoga and gym equipment. it was perfect.

I think we loved being at the beach and prioritized that for the purposes of our stay and would choose it again, but if you want to easily go to town or eat more authentic Mexican cuisine you are about 3 miles from there so you will need to taxi/drive or take bikes (which are free with your stay!)

The staff at Dune was AMAZING!!! They were so attentive, accommodating and just great people! The room we booked had a fantastic view, was very spacious, clean and overall fantastic. The included breakfast was delicious and nutritious with a variety of choices and made fresh on site! The fresh juices at the bar was so quenching and fantastic! The vibe and overall aesthetic of this hotel was great I would highly recommend staying for a quiet, romantic, high level of attention and service at this hotel! It is also located in the middle of the strip at Tulum, walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, clubs etc.

The only thing that was not amazing was even though the room was air conditioned, it never seemed to be cool enough (maybe because the ceilings were so high and the room was quite big) - the ceiling fan did help at night to sleep, but getting dressed and moving about the room would get hot at times!

The staff was very friendly! The front desk responds quickly over WhatsApp so any questions we had were answered quickly. Including easy room service! The food was good and the access to the beach was great. We enjoyed their beach setup - it was cute with plenty of shade and great service to keep the food/drinks coming. The hotel is close to a corner store so we picked up beer for our fairly big in room fridge. We enjoyed our plunge pool with a view in the afternoons.

Sorry to say because I know the hotel cannot control it, but you should know that the club noise is a real thing. It's not good and it went all night, at least until 3am! Earplugs don't really help because you can feel the thumping.

We stayed here for a Bachelorette's trip. The location is perfect, right on the beach within walking distance to many restaurants/beach club. Right across the street is a convenience store/pharmacy. The Concierge/Front Desk team was very accommodating and friendly. They helped to facilitate early check-in & booked restaurant and beach clubs for our group. Housekeeping went above and beyond to decorate the Bachelorette's room. Highly recommend to other travelers.

We loved everything here. Staff was amazing, everyone were very helpful. The room was comfortable with aircon 24 hours. Nice shower with good water pressure, has touches of local vibe but also very modern. Very cosy garden with a clean pool overlooking the sea. Small details makes stay very pleasant and gives authentic atmosphere. Dunes has the most beautiful beach! We’ve walked over other hotels and no other places has such a boutique atmosphere! Breakfast is more than great and has variety of choices, really reccomend to book hotel with breakfast. No mosquitoes in October.

The location was very good with great access to the beach. Could not fault the staff (Edgar, Alex, Carlos to mention a few) as they were very helpful & tried to help as much as they could

It’s not the hotels fault but if you are staying there invest in ear plugs. The music from surrounding hotels are loud & go on til late (2am) which goes the zen like vibe of the Dune Boutique

everything but the staff was the star of the show, Alex, Abraham and I think Eddie as well were all exceptional, above and beyond, this was my first time in Mexico and when I come back to Tulum I’m never staying anywhere else!

said no parking in the reservation however they did have parking unfortunately we found out after we already paid the lot across the street but the Valet who was also exceptional helped us out got our money back and provided valet parking so no complaints!

Complimentary breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus, cappuccino, fresh juices, and a few options to choose from! For lunch the chicken tacos were amazing (we are still talking about it). I also like the exclusivity of the hotel, its not a big place so you feel like you are the only ones there. It was very peaceful. The free bikes are also a great bonus!!! We rode them everywhere considering a 2 min cab ride could cost 30$. It was my boyfriends birthday and I requested some decorations and when we arrived the room was decorated beautifully he loved it !!

I have no complaints other than the bed being way too firm for me ! As well as the AC not being cold enough for me but that is just a preference. I would stay here again regardless!

The staff were incredible, the beach was beautiful, the food was excellent.

This is absolutely not a 5 star hotel by any stretch. The beds were uncomfortable, the rooms were nice and clean but in no way luxurious. We had a lovely stay and a great vacation but if you are expecting 5-Star you will likely be disappointed.

The staff were incredible, Luis and Priscilla really were friendly and accommodating and made us feel at ease the moment we arrived. Frank at the restaurant was also very friendly and eager to make sure you are relaxed and attended to. The location was perfect as you walk straight onto the beach and are still very close to the bars and restaurants on the road too.

As with the entire beach strip, everything such as food etc was incredibly expensive. Aside from that, there was not much else to say was bad about the stay.
