Bruno, Edmundo and the rest of the Staff were great! Olga and the Kitchen Staff cook Great food. Location on the beach and beach "club" are very good. All thee staff and Managers (like Betty ) are very helpful.

The price of the everything on the Hotel strip Is very high. I think that the value was a hard to see because of the prices. Even though the food and drink are very good in a lot of places $45USD for a hamburger is too much. It starts to look like gouging pretty quickly. I think if prices were more reasonable that more guests would stay and eat the hotels they were staying at. Expect to pay $30-$40 USD fro Cab ride into town and again on the way back( 15-20 min ....)

The ocean front suite is amazing the perfect location for a room. The views are fantastic. The food here is great as is the beach club. Book your transfer here from the airport with the hotel as its the best value even though it sounds expensive.

We paid close to 1000 dollars a night and also put 400 dollars on tab for the food and drinks. Despite this as soon as we went over tab we were pestered to pay immediately even when we were getting our breakfast deliver to us on the last morning. I explained I would pay at check out in an hour and was told to pay now. i refused and paid on check out. There was just a sense of money grabbing here at times. I also asked for rose petals on the bed for our honeymoon. I was quoted 60 dollars with a dessert or 160dollars with champagne. I replied that I just wanted the petals and recieved no response and didnt get the petals. Lacking the 5 star touch but still nice.

Tago Tulum exceeded every expectation. The photos do not do the property justice! From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the property. We stayed for 6 nights in room 3 (tres), which I highly recommend. We had booked a jungle view room, but this room had a partial view of the ocean and felt very private. We were on the main floor so we had a bonus private area in front of the plunge pool set up with two chairs in the sand. Our trip was in December so during the day the room got direct sunlight, so we were able to lay out and enjoy the sunshine from the comfort of our room. This room is also steps from the beach, which made beach days even better because we could pop back and forth from the beach to our room throughout the day with minimal effort. The room itself was stunning. The bed was VERY comfortable. The air conditioning was great throughout our entire stay. The beach club is beautiful and the chairs / day beds are very comfortable. The staff was so kind and the service was top notch. Added nice touches included two bottles of Fiji water daily, espresso machine and two pods each day, mini fridge, mini dessert brought to the room each night, and mini cocktails at the beach club (e.g., one day they brought around complimentary mini pina coladas for guests at the beach club). The hotel itself is also very close by to amazing restaurants. The spots nearby that we went to and loved were Kitchen Table, Posada Margherita, and Ukami. We had rented a car and were able to park the car for free each day at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help with parking the car and navigating any traffic when getting in or out of the parking spot. If you are booking a trip to Tulum I could not recommend Tago enough.

Nothing! Everything was great.

The overall experience was outstanding. The staff was amazing. The hotel staff is very customer centric to make sure you enjoy your staying. The location is very nice as well. By walking distance, you can reach a plenty of good restaurants and bars. You can even access them through the beach!!! The pool in the room was a plus. Room is big with a beautiful decoration. We were surprised every night with a small “good night” cake/dessert in our room. Recommend to have a dinner at japanese restaurant/sushi bar inside hotel. Fodd is really good.

Nothing major to say about. The only recoomendation is to setup the beach services a bit earlier. As explained when we arrived, they start it at 11:30am everyday but there are people that like to come before this time.

Rooms, beach- always raked, clean, organized, beach cenote clean, friendly staff, daily room cleaning w fresh towels and room pool screened if any debris, sand walking paths and sand dining floor space was a nice feature.

Should be more caffeinated nespresso coffee pods daily in the room ( like 6 minimum). Same with water supplied; 4 small Fiji waters minimum. General filtered unlimited potable drinking water stations should be around the property. 2 key cards per room instead of 1. Drink prices could be substantially lower which would make the beach and/or bar experience more lively to socialize with other guests creating an estate atmosphere. Light music during breakfast & dinner time around dining space would be great.

There was a charge for any extra breakfast orders. The daily offer was limited. It is possible to have breakfast included, but I think the hotel should review this procedure. The accommodation and service were of excellent quality. Still, the beach, which should have been the most significant local attraction, was infested with seaweed that made the water dark and smelly. This problem is expected in the hot months; it involves, from what we saw, the entire Riviera Maya, and if not solved, it gives us an apocalyptic vision of the world and not a vacation to Paradise.

Beautiful boutique hotel on the quieter end of the hotel strip, with only 20 or so rooms so it's nice and calm, intimate for couples. Our room had direct access to the beach and the hotel itself is modern, luxurious, yet set within nature. The beach and surroundings are maintained well and a dip in their "cenotes" is a must! We had breakfast delivered to our room to enjoy on the balcony, which had the dip pool that we used regularly. Staff service was excellent and the room was heavenly.

It's a small boutique hotel so if you choose to rent a bike to go into the town, it will be from a 3rd party vendor that they will liaise for you, not as beautiful or new as ones you see others riding on but it will get you there and back (just about!). Food + drink served at the beach club was delicious but had fairly high prices, as is to be expected on that part of Tulum nowadays. Also the room mini-bar had quite a markup — surprising when you can pick up your own from down the road for much less, they would get the purchases if the markup wasn't so high.

The staff were very friendly (Betty, Cezar, Bruno, Daniel)!! The room have wonderful location and an amazing view! Guacamole was incredible!

The parking!!! Especially when our car was parked someone has crashed our car and luckily we had a coverage of 90%, but unfortunately we’ll be charged for the 10% and the hotel does not assume any responsibility.

Perfect location in the Hotel Zone in Tulum. Staff were attentive and very helpful with special mention to Michel and Chef Diego. Hotel was on its own private beach which was cleaned every day (currently seaweed season). We saw turtles nesting on the beach which was a real treat to witness. Japanese restaurant in the hotel is incredible! Thoughtful evening treats provided in the room as well as free water bottle (Fiji water) refills.

Very little not to like but these are a couple of comments: - Given the common occurrence of turtles nesting on the beach I was surprised that plastic straws provided in plastic wrappers were used. I think there could be more ecological/sustainable practices implemented. - Not a fault of the hotel but for others to be aware, taxis in the Hotel Zone are eyewateringly expensive (eg $32 USD for a 2km journey!). The taxis simply make up the fares as they wish and always start around a minimum $25 no matter how long the journey. An idea could be for the hotel to provide a shuttle service or bicycle rental etc for guests given this is a luxury hotel charging premium prices.
