Zereno Boutique Hotel is excellent! We liked everything. The apartment is large, on two levels. Bedroom on the upper floor and living room on the lower level. Two bathrooms (on each level). Terrace big enough to enjoy. We also had a small pool on the terrace, which was a nice and interesting feature for our daughter. She was the only one who used it. The entire facility is relatively new (as well as the entire environment). New buildings of this kind, restaurants, cafes, shops, ... everything is new and you can see that the whole of this settlement was made exclusively for tourists. (However, the Mexican reality of the way of life is nearby.) The location was ok for us, but we were with a car, so we are probably not relevant to comment on the location for those who do not have transportation. Everything is neat and clean. Given that we came with a rental car, the possibility of parking right in front is a good thing. The hotel can be accessed by passing through some kind of security gate with 24-hour security. It's all a plus and a great thing. The hotel has its own small swimming pool, which is great for cooling off and having a refreshing drink in the evening. Next to the pool, breakfast is served, which can also be taken to the apartment (there are only a couple of small tables for breakfast.) The best thing about the hotel are Esteban and Daniel, the guys at the front desk. The two of them raise our stay in excellent accommodation to an even higher level. They are ready to help with absolutely everything. Extremely kind, always in a good mood and smiling. They are really great! We absolutely recommend this property!

There is nothing we didn't like. The breakfast is relatively modest and the same every day, but for this type of accommodation, it is probably excellent (the facility does not have a kitchen). Even with navigation, the object is not easy to find. Suggestion: have power adapters ready for guests from Europe :-)

everything was perfect! helpful staff, stylish apartments (bottled water and coffee capsules included), nice area with couple (a bit pricey) cafes in walking distance, 24 hours security at the entrance. don’t understand another reviews about water pressure/temperature at the room-just give some time the water to heat, that’s all.

better take a room with a pool view, because rooms with back road view can be loud at some times

We stayed 3 nights at a split level apartment with a thatched roof on the top floor. The apartment is simple yet beautifully designed with all the necessities, and most importantly with screens that avoided mosquitos getting in, so we truly enjoyed the outdoor/indoor feel of the space and the sound of the birds in the morning. There were couple of parties going on till early morning in the other rooms but it is Tulum... 😉 As we were all working remotely, the connection was important for us and wifi worked excellent! The staff was debonair, absolutely helpful in every way and they assisted immediately with any issues we had from fixing the shower door to the heater.

The kitchens could benefit from additional items such as towels/papertowels. I imagine papertowels can be wasteful and not environment friendly but this is something we needed as we wanted to keep the kitchen tidy.

Everything looks exactly like the pictures! The staff was amazing, very nice and attentive. They made sure me and my family were comfortable and my our stay very welcoming and relaxing.

Mostly everything was great. The only problem was that the AC units in the bedrooms didn’t work which made it very hot at night while we were trying to sleep.

We stayed in a beautiful apartment with plunge pool which we really enjoyed. The landscaping really enhanced the aesthetics and the staff (Daniel and Steven) were extremely helpful. We liked that we were able to communicate with them via WhatsApp. 7eleven was close by. Breakfast simple but enjoyable.

Water pressure was poor. It wasn't close to town or beach entertainment and the surrounding area was somewhat isolated. The hotel could provide transport to town (200 mxn peso) or beach (350 mxn peso) it cost more to return via taxi cab. There were a lot of mosquitos in and around the hotel and we also saw a couple of cockroaches. No hotel bar or restaurant.

- Hotel is located in between city centre and the beach making it ideal to rent a bike and move around. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Heads up the bike ride to the beach is about 20-30 minutes depending your skill level and good news is that it's a separate bike lane with street lights at night - Spacious room with tv, Nespresso machine, plenty of wardrobe space, big bathroom with walk in shower. (we had a room without a full kitchen) - Nice balcony included a small table and chairs where we could chill at night - Room has air-conditioning and a mini fridge with a tiny freezer to store snacks and chill drinks ;) - Pool is a nice size for chill day or a dip after a long day on the road - I liked that they offered to clean our room daily, however we chose to do it on average every 2/3 days to be more sustainable and the cleaning ladies are lovely - Massive shoutout to the hotel lads: Daniel, Rodrigo and Fernando for the always warm hospitality, tips for local activities and for the many great conversations in English & Spanish we've had during the course of our stay - To conclude, this hotel is good value for your money

- 2 power outages (no electricity or water) which effected a large area of Tulum and each lasted about 4 hours. The lads at the reception made sure that we had enough water and supplies to last through it. Zereno did just receive a massive generator which will ensure power for the hotel if such a power outage happens again in the future. -

Beautiful two storey room, boho style. Gorgeous property. Room and layout exceeded expectations.

Breakfast was too basic. We msged at 10.10am and because bfast ended at 10am they couldnt serve us even though it was cut fruit and toast. That was disappointing. Towels were stained. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. Stayed 3 nights, received bottled water only on one day. We arrived from the airport late and there was no water to drink in the room. Not acceptable.

Nice and very helpful staff, beautiful pool area with sun beds, good atmosphere in the hotel. Furniture and beds are new.

No locker available. Don‘t leave your money in the room. Some of the rooms are pretty noisy due to the street. Pool is not suited for swimming. Hot water problem in the showers. Floor in the rooms are not properly cleaned (they just spray a bit of detergent on the floor, but it is not cleaned with water).

The place was beautiful and the rooms especially had great decor! It’s great value for money and the staff are very friendly.

The hotel is a bit out of the way from most of the places we wanted to go (beach, restaurants, cenote) so it involved a lot of taxis and many drivers didn’t know where the hotel was, so you have to make sure you Have it available on Google maps.
