The entire apartment was kept to a super high standard and incredibly clean. The private pool was great and definitely a great bonus to the room. Aircon was strong across all rooms and staff were available if any help was required.

Only downside would be the location. It is far away from Tulum Town and requires 20+ min walk with little to no shade / pavements. If you stay here and want to visit the town often, I would advise hiring a moped. However, don't let this put you off the property, it's utterly fantastic and nicely secluded away from the bustle of Tulum Town.

This was absolutely the best place we have stayed. Amazing value for price. The staff were wonderful and helpful, peaceful and quiet neighborhood with many places to eat nearby. The room was tidy and extremely comfortable. I've been traveling through the region for a couple weeks and this was by far my favorite stay. The pool was absolutely lovely especially since the beaches were hard to access. Felt like a luxury stay for an accessible price. Excellent wifi too.

Location is a little out of the way by foot, however with a bike it's not a problem at all. I still consider this a plus cause it's a nice quiet neighborhood, just the streets take a little time to get used to but after a day it's easy to navigate =).

The nearest stores cafes etc are close by (walkable) but way overpriced! I think this area of Tulum thinks it’s the French Riviera it’s just expensive if not more so! To get to the town to the beach you have to either pay extortionate taxi prices or risk your life cycling. The closest and quickest road to both is not safe for cycling (Avenida) We attempted the beach once cycling and nearly got knocked off by a speeding construction truck The beach also has so much seaweed it’s not pleasant to swim and it smells Can’t fault the tree tops but I won’t be back in Tulum not until there is proper and safe infrastructure

Very comfortable, very well equipped, one of the best rooms we had during our 1 month-trip. He little pool is nice to have, too. No problems to find a parking spot. Very quiet neighborhood, as it is situated within a huge appartement-complex. Communication was only via messages, but super quick and easy.

Be aware that it is NOT located in the center of Tulum, and that you'll need a car or other vehicle to get around. Beachclubs are a 10 min drive from the location.

Amazing value for money. The location is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Tulum, in an up-and-coming area - perfect if you have a car, though there are also a few cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. It is in a gated community, which felt very safe. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it is quiet at night, and during the day as well. Bathroom was squeaky clean, the toiletries provided were lovely. We really appreciated having a fridge, as well as some plates and bowls, cutlery, even a knife and cutting board - handy if you want to buy fruits or such. Wifi was strong and reliable. The pool is not huge but perfect for a cool-down after a day of activities. They provide cleaning whenever you hang a tag to indicate you need it on the door. We liked staying here so much that we even extended our stay for an extra night.

The water in the bathroom is slightly salty, which didn't bother us much at all, only for brushing teeth. If you don't have a car or scooter, it is a bit less convenient but for us this wasn't an issue.

the room and bathroom are amazing, and so is the setting of the place. the bed was very comfy and the lady at reception was very helpful in arranging a scooter and other things.

taxis are VERY expensive!!, even more than central London. 300 pesos to town which is not even 5min away (less than a km). you can’t walk if you have luggage as the roads are sand with huge puddles, so you need a taxi. or if you well dressed. don’t stay at this apartment if you don’t want to rent a scooter or car. and you don’t want a car in tulum!! things are to far for bicycles IMO. there is a refrigerator right next to the bed that made noise, so I had to switch it off which meant no cold drinks in the morning. if you leave the door open for fresh air, you have little privacy. there is no rear window. otherwise all else was amazing

Beautiful room with a pool view. The pool in itself is very nice and allows you to swim a bit. Very nice staff, with easy check in although we arrived late (nearly 11pm). The bed was very comfortable and incredibly large. Nice products in the bathroom.

Arriving at night and on foot, it was a bit of an excursion to find the hotel. The main road that leads to the complex with several flats and hotels is not lit at night. Also a bit far from the centre if you’re walking everywhere, as we usually do.

The apartment is very nice. Is big, new, and everything works perfectly. The area around the pool (shared) is also very nice. You feel connected with the nature there and very relaxed.

The area around is quite empty. It makes perfect because of the noise (lack of it) but at the same time is a little bit scary. There's nothing around. You definitely need a car or scooter. Also, they retrieved your deposit for 4 days.

the location is just 5-10 min cycling away from the pueblo centre and around 15-20 min cycling away from the beach depending on how fast you are. the staffs are friendly and helpful and the bed is amazingly comfortable. the location is also in a safe zone.

the only thing is missing (which apparently is normal in Mexico) is that there is no room cleaning service. it would be nice for a long stay that the room is getting clean after 2-3 days and it does not have to be cleaned everyday.

I travel to Tulum often, and work from the hotel during the week. TreeTops was wonderful in all aspects of my stay. The location is in Aldea Zama, tucked away in a quiet place, where construction is not an issue and I can do my work in peace. Speaking of work, I do a lot of video conferencing, and this hotel has fast fiber internet. About 80mbps download and 69mbps upload. The room was clean and the AC worked well. The bed and the mattress were some of the best I've had in Tulum. The hotel has a pool and all properties in this location face it. The hotel has a guard at the entrance to the property. It also has spots where you can park your car and plenty of additional spots on the street. Quiet place, fast fiber internet, comfy bed, great location! What else can one ask for? So book with confidence!

One day the internet was being upgraded, so I couldn't work from the hotel, but the hotel staff arranged a co-working space for me free of charge. No issues!
