HAMILTON Agadir

The staff were friendly and amazing. Would go above and beyond to help you. Location is great - close to the beach. The hotel was clean - cleaners and staff running around the whole day to keep the place sparkling clean.

Some of the bathrooms need a little attention/upgrade but this is Morocco so what’s a standard for a European person, here it’s a luxury. I loved the breakfast but missed some fresh fruit and proper Moroccan tea with mint. There was a fruit salad but a bowl with whole tangerines, apples, etc would be better. There was a thermos with tea but it was quite strong and no mint.

Room clean housemaid works very hard and is very friendly, location great beach beautiful a lovely place to visit. Staff lovely the housemaid was brilliant. Omar the security man during the day was absolutely lovely always has a great big smile on his face and welcomes you each time you walk in, the 2 men selling the excursions are also lovely.

The only one thing I would say is that no do not disturb signs are provided for rooms, the cleaner came round by 9:30am took the towels but did not get any back until the afternoon. I spoke to the manager who said he will look into it and provide do not disturb signs for the rooms. The security man on the night time was not great never smiled or spoke.

This is our second visit to this hotel within 3 months. The location was perfect, close to local amenities and short walking distance to the beach. Sakina at reception was extremely helpful and always greeted with a smile. The bar, as well as the restaurant staff downstairs by the pool, were also nice. Overall, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice comfy lounge, nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend pool view, sea view is not the best.

The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms is not the best. The pool is not heated and is small. Depending on the floor your room is, some are in need of upgrade. However, we have noticed that refurbishment is being carried out on different floors, Very limited selection on breakfast, would like to have seen more option.

absolutely everything was amazing, the stay, the food, the sunshine, the cats roaming around as my girlfriend loves cats so we made plenty friends over the week. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. granted there was a big language barrier on some occations but that didnt stop us from sharing a laugh and a drink with them.

only bad thing was, as we were on the top floor in the executive room wi-fi was a bit jumpy. it would work then it wouldn’t. apart from that wi-fi works great around the bottom floors so we would go by the pool and work and enjoy the wi-fi

The reception area is beautiful and very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and accommodating when we arrived, absolute value for money. The rooms are basic. The breakfast each morning was fresh especially the msemen flatbread, please try it, its just beautiful, cooked fresh in front of you. And the menu has lovely options, can't fault the food! I went for a short stay with friends and we absolutely loved it. There's excursions available to book at reception Beach is a short walk from the hotel, or a taxi ride, all taxis are quite cheap! There is a pool but I didn't use it, it was quite cold. I preferred the beach. But best of all was mohammed at the pool bar. Could not have been more helpful or friendly I will definitely come back again. Mohammed went out of his way, not just for us but for everyone. He was fun loving and helpful. When we told him it was one of my friends' birthday he went and got a birthday cake for her. He was just amazing. Thank you mohammed!

The plumbing in the bathroom could do with up updating. And not to be picky but some cocktail options at the bar would be perfect!

the staff are amazing especially the security guard who works during the day, pool lovely, room lovely. We have been to Agadir 4 times this year and 3 of them were at the Hamilton great location have booked for christmas this year and we have also booked to bring our 88 year old uncle on the 20th dec for 2 weeks as the staff and facililty's are great.

I have requested 2 rooms together on ground floor for our next stay so I can be next door to my uncle who is very unstable on feet and would find climbing up stairs too much for him I have had an email to confirm they will do this so fingers crossed they will pull through for us,

Our room was ready before the official check-in, what was very pleasing, because we were totally tired from our journey there. Also we could stay at the hotel pool and swim there after the check-out. We were waiting there for our taxi. The hotel arranged us the taxi from Agadir to Marrakesch for very good price and the driver was very punctual. Also the hotel arranged us the horse riding for good price as well and everything was on time and as we arranged. The hotel is quite old, you can see it on the doorhandles, watertaps etc., but it was clean and comfortable. There was really huge double bed, very nice sleep and blackout curtains were perfect! Also breakfast was tasty, you could choose anything, salty, sweet, fruit, vegetable, pastry, eggs, juice, tea, coffee etc.

First impression was made by professional front desk staff (Soukaina). We were very warm welcomed and accommodated, respectfully to our needs. Later we were impressed by a freshly made la carte dinner (included in half board) - it would be worthy to upgrade to full board. Bar staff Mohammad was great and looked after us. Prices for tours were good from in house provider. There was no annoying members of staff or animators like we experienced in our previous hotel and we had a feeling like staying in a European place. It was a great stay. Thank you.

Pool closes too early. No in house spa.

Rooms are very generously sized with balcony or terrace with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Staff are very friendly and will always try to help you. Its not so large that you are anonymous. Easy to get on chatting terms with other guests from both UK and other countries. However you're not cramped and can easily find your own space. Breakfast is ok but can become a bit tedious in terms of choice. Lunch and dinner is pretty basic but good value for money but limited choice. but with the area offering lots of restaurants (local and international cuisines ) unless you had to you probably would eat at hotel. Location is central between beach and the central shopping area.

WiFi could have been better though roaming charges (from UK anyway) means it's probably just as well you end up restricted.

Soukaina at the front desk, (Reception) was very helpful, pleasant, and professional. She resolved any issues or queries very effectively and efficiently. Her assistant was very nice and friendly too. The housekeeping lady always helped if I needed anything.

Leaving Agadir. I was very sad leaving such pleasant weather and a relaxed atmosphere behind to come back to dark gloomy, bitterly cold and wet England!!
