Good location, good price.

There could be some sort of isolation between the beds and bathroom areas. And bring your own pillows if you are picky with that like me.

The location is very convenient as it js close to tram station and has many restaurants, bar and convenient shop nearby. The neighbour area is quiet and safe too. Overall, the room is quite spacious and has a locker for everyone to store their luggage (can fit small size standard luggage). There are many facilities include common area, restaurant, laundry room and lockers for storage prior to check in or after check out. Highly recommend for solo traveller!

The bed sheet has some old stain, should get cleaned properly. As the lockers and bathroom are located inside each room, therefore it is hard to avoid for some noise if someone arrive at late night or get up early. Earplugs should be provided.

Location was fantastic, close to Leidseplein which has lots of bars and restaurants, also close to a tram stop and a Spar shop 3 mins walk away. All the main tourist attractions are easy accessible, Heineken museum is walkable. The room was spacious and the bathroom/shower were very clean. We travelled as a group so had a 6 bed dorm to ourselves but the set up would be great for single travellers too. Staff were all lovely, we had PIN code lockers to store our bags before our room was ready too which was great.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable and there was very little toilet paper provided.

The staff were friendly and helpful! I stayed in the dorm and I appreciated that all my linens and blankets were all laid out for me. Considering 10 people occupied this dorm it was very quiet and everyone was respectful. Best location ever for a tourist…. Parks, museums, transit, restaurants, walking distance to the core, etc..

Possibly more information at the front desk about staying in a dorm. ‘I was a first timer’ and learned from watching others in the dorm on how things worked. As a senior I recommend requesting a bottom bunk!

It was very clean and spacious! The hangout area downstairs was a good vibe too. I felt like the beds were comfortable and while in the sleeping area everyone was extremely respectful. Showers/bathrooms are in your pod area so you don’t have to leave the room. In a great location! If you can’t walk the tram is a 5 min walk away. I personally didn’t mind the lockers being under the bed and they offered more than enough space for me.

Everything was great! I will say one of the showers was a little smelly like sewage. But the other one was perfectly fine! I

Location overlooking Vondelpark. Bar and Cafe area serving very reasonably priced wines beers, coffee and snacks Friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff throughout our stay. Staff were very genuine in their enthusiasm to help you have the best stay possible and seemed proud of their accommodation.. Cleanliness. Stayed in a comfort room. Triple aspect, very comfy bed and bedding. Great walk in shower/wet room bathroom. Exceptionally clean. Lift access as I had a heavy wheely case. Quiet and very peaceful. Room located in the school building, which externally is in a very appealing architectural style. Highly recommend this standard of room and the hostel and staff, and would definitely book again next time we are travelling to Amsterdam. Extremely well run accommodation.

We had booked a two person bunk bedded room as we were in Holland for a week and trying to keep to a budget and thinking we'd be out most of the time. On arrival, we had been upgraded to a 4 bed. Despite this, as soon as we got in the room we had issues, as though only early afternoon the corridors were over run with school/youth groups, constantly running up and down, banging and knocking on doors, talking loudly outside the room and shouting in the corridors. I cannot comment whether it is like during the night and the hostel had rules regarding quiet times but initially I was a bit put off, being a couple of 61 and 51 years old. Luckily, we were able to upgrade to one of the hostel's comfort rooms for a minimal amount for the 2 nights of our stay.

The Hostel and it's sustainable concept is very well executed through out. Common spaces are really welcoming well organized and gives the opportunity for socializing The area is top notch upper class and next to all the main museums and walking distance from Amsterdam down town Amenities are offered in the room like recycled toilet paper and body wash following the sustainability approach system The garden and the park next door provide the feeling of a getaway in the heart of the town Overall it is highly recommended

In dorms it would be a great plus for curtains /panels per bed as to have privacy Especially in the beds next to the in room wc and shower privacy is an absolute necessity The pillow was worn out and needs to be replaced

The location was so perfect for us to be able to get around via tram services. There’s also so many food options around the hotel so regardless of when you’re hungry, there’s always something open. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. We had a private room so our experience was really great. Also to get into the hotel at night you have to use your key card, so it’s very safe! There is also a luggage drop off area with a personal key pad lock, in case you check out in the morning and have a later flight. The staff are really sweet and ready to help at any time.

the Place is cute and is in a great location. The common rooms and bars are really nice and I liked the food.

I slept in a dorm for 10 people. The room was super packed and small. They didn’t refill the toilet paper and the showers really could have been cleaner. My friend stayed in a 4 people dorm though and she didn’t have these problems. It’s also pretty expensive. other places you would pay that kind of money for a hotel room but I guess that’s normal in Amsterdam, especially during the ADE.

Great location, in a lovely area, close to shops/restaurants/park and only 30 min walk to dam square. Staff very friendly. Bar & communal area was very nice, with lots of places to sit with friends and comfy couches to relax in. We stayed in 4-bed private room which was perfect for us. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Toilet paper replaced and bins changed on our 3rd day. There were free lockers to leave bags before/after checking in which were easy to operate and access.

We had to make beds when we arrived and strip them when left which was annoying but guess it is a hostel.
