Absolutely loved this hotel. It's quite central and provides a good base to go an explore every inch of the city. The room itself is very comfortable and the spa facilities within room, like the jacuzzi and sauna are top notch. This is a little more expensive than other hotels in the area, but worth it imo. The front desk staff and cleaners are lovely and you're always greeted in a kind and warm way.

The only two things we didn't like was the breakfast. The room is quite small so lines form. This is okay. But once seated, if you leave for the buffet, the staff can give away your table. This happened us, we were sat at a table and a man came back from the buffet and rightfully so, freaked out. We were sat elsewhere instead. While sitting, we saw this happen two more times. Save yourself stress and money and get a breakfast elsewhere in peace. Lastly, don't use the taxi service associated with the hotel. We tried to use it one night before a concert. After 45 minutes we had to leave and search the streets because it hadn't shown up.

The hotel is n a very good location - almost all the attractions were within easy walking distance. there were also good restaurants nearby. The staff were excellent - they even printed my boarding pass for me on the day of my departure. The breakfast was a bit pricey but was very good.

The movement sensitive lights in the bathroom was a real drawback. Every time anyone went into the bathroom (or even near the bathroom door), the lights went on. This happened even at night. When either my partner or I went to the use the bathroom at night, the lights came on - waking the other person up! And it took too long for the lights to go out afterwards. The fact that the bathroom door was frosted glass made this situation worse. I notice that other guests have complained about this but nothing has been done. This is a real shame as it is the only compalaint I would make about this hotel

The hotel is very centrally located and close to the train station. We were able to get into our room around 1:30pm, which was great. The front desk staff was welcoming, the hotel itself was very quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable bed my partner and I had ever slept in (like, we want to buy the bed to have at home). The room was clean and seemed like it had been recently renovated. There was a little closet/shelf area that was perfect for storing our suitcases and allowed us to hang up our clothes. Basically, this was the perfect home base for exploring Amsterdam. We were able to walk or easily take the tram wherever we wanted to go.

The only thing that could be better is the bathroom door. It's a sliding door made out of thin, translucent glass with a large hole (!) in place of a handle so that you can open the door. There is no privacy at all; you hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the bathroom. There's not even a fan you can turn on for a little white noise. Otherwise, the room was perfect!

Great location - walking distance from the central train station and many attractions, restaurants and stores. There's a police station nearby - helps you feel safe. Comfortable room that has everything you need: fridge, safe, coffee station, desk, couch. While the hotel it close to the main street, it's located on a more quiet side street. The only noises I heard on the 5th floor were church bells and birds. I liked the unique wall paper.

The light in the bathroom is motion-triggered, and it would go off while I was taking a shower. It's as if the shower area is a dead zone for the motion sensor. The handle to the bathroom door is basically a hole that enables someone standing outside to see and hear everything going on inside the bathroom. The window is overlooking the windows of another building, so the curtains have to be closed at all times. Low quality toilet paper.

the location was amazing, walking distance to almost all of the main attractions. loads of shops and restaurants are near by as well. the check in and checkout process was so smooth and quick. the staff were lovely and so helpful. the room size was good the water pressure in the shower and hot water were great.

not a deal breaker, but I wish the room had a floor length mirror. the room lacked some basic needs like dental kits, slippers etc.. I booked a city view room but ended up with a room looking over a roof top. the cleaning could use improvement one night the cleaning crew left the bag of garbage next to the door they forgot it after they cleaned the room and also they didn’t clean the floors it felt sticky the room was so dim as well could use better lighting

Close to Centraal, near public transportation. very walkable to many locations. Property was clean & looked to be maintained well. Consistent WIFI connection - streaming services always worked. I stayed in a Spa Room - it was nice & relaxing to have a hot-tub in the room. Hot-tub fits 2 standard shaped people comfortably.

Staff are approachable but are clueless about certain relevant visitor topics, like where to get a mobile SIM card or how taxi service works. Also generally a bit expensive for what you get. The room & hallways felt clean (important!), but the furniture & fixtures felt semi- cheap quality. I did not dine at any of the hotel restaurants or breakfast options - €19/day seems overpriced for eggs & pastries.

The location is amazing...3 minutes walk from Centraal Station and also another 5 minutes to Dam Sqaure so perfectly situated wherever you want to go. Also very secure as it is located right next to the police station :-) Breakfast had a wide variety and was situated in a well let glass room which is very inviting. The staff are very warm and welcoming. The room was well maintained and had most amenties...there is a kettle but no nespresso machine which is OK. Minibar and safe included...eveything that a hotel room should have.
