The location was very ideal; we had a function at the Civic Centre which was easy walking distance from the motel. the supermarket was across the road and the Accomodation was located within easy distance of a variety of meal options.

The negatives were minor. The 2 bedroom unit was upstairs which was not as easy for my 84year old mum.... but there possibly was a similar unit downstairs as well. (I didn't check that out) The doors, particularly the front door needed a good oiling ...it had a horrific squeak every time it was opened and moved.... I kept thinking that I was annoying the people in the adjoining unit.

We were greeted very warmly by the owner when we arrived. The unit was super clean, the beds comfy and the in-unit cooking facilities are great. The location is handy - across the road from major supermarket and coffee shop. Town and activities for children are within walking distance. Great value for money.

Honestly there was nothing more we needed or wanted that wasn't already provided by the motel.

Room - 2 bedroom unit - number 9, was very comfortable. Recliner chairs, sofa all very comfortable. Clean unit, lady on reception allowed us in a little early. Motel has large supermarket across the street, plus some lovely parks to walk. Good location. Even though motel is on main road we heard no road noise.

If you are older or have any mobility issues then this motel could be a problem. No elevator so we had to carry our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs which was a little difficult. I would contact motel to know exactly how many steps you have to manage, as even downstairs units have a small number of steps down to them. Also the shower is located in the bathtub - so again not good for older persons to have to climb into.

Very clean, tidy, and I thought the room was very comfortable with the lazy boy chairs. Very comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Having the Countdown supermarket located directly across the road was very handy as I was able to walk over and buy a drink and a few snacks for my trip.

I only realized early the next morning that there was no milk in my fridge and the lady must have forgotten to give me one on check in, so had to head off early without my morning coffee as the office was not yet open.

Good location. We were able to walk to all the motor tourism things (Motorcycle Mecca, E Hayes, and Transport World). Transport World is the farthest. Countdown market directly across the street. NOTE: Alcohol in Invercargill is not available at grocery stores. Liquor store was not more than 10-minutes walk away. Restaurants probably 15 minutes walk. We only spent one night.

Of the six pillows only one was thick and fluffy for side sleeping. The others were so thin and floppy that even back sleeping required two.

Motel is situated in a good location, just off the main highway and close to centre of Invercargill. Check-in was quick and straightforward. the room was a good size, very clean, comfortable and well stocked facilities. Cooking facilities were very good. car parking was outside each room. Room was quiet and relaxing

Nothing to dislike

Loved the modern, roomy, and well-appointed unit. Loved especially how clean and warm the unit was. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful when we asked questions. The location is great, with a supermarket across the road and we could walk to the city centre in under 15 minutes. Loved our stay in Invercargill and would gladly stay at this motel again.

This is an exceptionally clean and comfortable place to stay! loved the beds!!! big rooms, big lounge and a nice kitchen and bathroom (great water pressure). Good quality furniture and items in the unit too. We were in a 1 bedroom, but there was also a bed in the lounge which was convenient. Well heated throughout. Central location to everything in Invercargill. We really weren’t excepting our room to be this amazing, thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had no issues

Good space, comfortable furnishings, lovely welcoming and friendly staff. It was deceiving, looked small on the outside, very spacious inside! Bit worn in places, but didn’t deter from comfort and cleanliness.

Lack of hooks to hang coats etc, especially when wet.

Just a note to the manager. Please replace the shower rail. The head kept falling off the clasp and sprayed everywhere. Easy fix. Once this is done all will be perfect.
