Lovely place to stay living room kitchen and bedroom really lovely and really spacious. Bed was super comfortable, very tidy and clean. Good quality bedding and towels and nice touch with the kitkat to enjoy our break. Overall fab place to stay

The spa was having issues working second night and the shower over spa bath not that accessible. Multi shower bath dial hard to operate. Fan doesn't remove the condensation so very damp and humid causing mould the bathroom could do with a tidy up . The spa was nice when working and was definitely clean and tidy .

Courteous staff let us know when room was ready for check-in. Gorgeous continental breakfast setup with loads of options to choose from, delivery thereof the night before on beautiful trays. There is also a very good looking restaurant straight across the street from them but we didn't eat there so can't review. Handy but quiet location. Had enormous TV hanging on wall too.

Squeaky bathroom and toilet doors. Poor curtaining over entrance door, hard to secure. No power point on one side of bed, so no bedside lamp for reading on that side.

We appreciated the space of the unit; we didn't feel cramped even though the sofa bed remained down throughout our stay. We appreciated being so close to the centre of the city. We appreciated the warmth of the staff and the cleanliness of the unit.

My friend and I are both approaching 80 and with increasing age comes growing physical limitations. We found the shower very difficult to use - climbing over the bath is something of a risk for us. My friend has had both hips replaced so the stairs were a challenge. I had the bedroom and didn't find the traffic noisy. My friend who was sleeping in the main room did. perhaps time to buy some new bedding for the sofa bed?

Everything is perfect. Stuffs are nice. I arrived later than planned and lady in reception organised my late check-in. The room is enormous large than I imagine, clean and in good condition, living room is cosy with sofa, kitchen is well equipped with pans, knives and scissors, bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is also large with bathtub, toilette is separed. I am lucky to have a room face to the lovely backyard garden, very relaxing.

The central location, it was tidy and spacious and good value. Staff were friendly.

The cleaners didn't pull the bed back and when we were checking for gear we found some old socks, a used plaster and a cigarette filter on the floor beside the bed Although the staff were friendly at the front desk they were answering phones while checking me in and not that helpful, so I ended up feeling a bit confused about what was happening.

We were going to sleep in the room with both Queen and single but queen bed had both roll together and roll out of bed which was a weird feeling. In general rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom door, when window was open, was banging due the wind...may need to have that looked at...only 1 spotlight in kitchen was working

Only stayed 2 nights so we were pretty much happy with everything. Maybe in the future the bathroom may need upgrading, bit of an eye sore that cabinet top

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. It's right at the back, so really quiet and perfect for a family of up to 4 people. It had everything we needed, parking right outside our door, and cosy and warm despite the flurries of snow outside! I would definitely book this unit again. The decor needs a spruce up, but other than that, it was perfect.

The continental breakfast was definitely not worth the price. Don't be tempted.

The rooms were excellent. The TVs were excellent with a great choice of channels not just the basic channels. The bar and restaurant across the street was excellent.

The kitchen fridge was too small. The fridge door would not stay closed. The fridge was very wobbly and could not keep items in the freezer (too small)

One of the best stays of our two week drive around on the South Island. Room was great and staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. In room breakfast was great and delivered hot and right on time. Would recommend to anyone as a great place to stay. Buster Crabs restaurant was right across the street which made for a great addition to the stay.

Overall an excellent place to stay. Would definitely go back!

The location was good and the beds including the sofa beds were comfortable. The room was warm.

The start button of the microwave didn’t work but managed to find a way to work around it. The water splashed on the floor after shower despite having the shower curtain around. It would be lovely if it had the mixed taps instead of individual hot and cold water taps.
