Staff were most welcoming and friendly. Small courtesies were no trouble eg storing my bag B4 check in and then delivering bag to room for my return, arranging room service meal, booking a cab, As a senior solo traveler I felt secure and cared for. The large bathroom with walk in shower was most welcome. Refined decor with tantalizing colours and textures, light filled spaces especially the foyer and room, onsite dining notably the sunset from the '360' cocktail bar on the top floor. Location in the CBD gave many options for shopping and dining. Very convenient for meeting friends.

All good.

I really enjoyed the Langlands Hotel, everything was of a high quality and the room was lovely and spacious with plenty of amenities and complimentary necessities. We had a great welcome at the door and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever we spoke with them. I appreciated the staff on reception calling us a cab to the airport as well, after offering to store our bags until it was time to leave, and the waiting area in the lobby was really comfortable. It's in a great location to get to all you need and was surprisingly quiet to sleep too.

The only flaw in an otherwise perfect stay was that the chrome-casting on the TV was quite unusable and would cut out again every few minutes, despite strong wifi signal and no issues with initial connection. There were a good amount of channels on live TV though and we spent a lot of the day outside, so not a big deal.

Location was central and close to the dairy store. It was nice and warm in the room. City view from the balcony was great. Staff was excellent and the valet service was a really nice touch. Easy access inside using a scan card.

The bathroom is not ventilated so when you go for number 2, the air stays and doesn't move anywhere. I had to buy air freshener from the dairy store next door. Also, they served every other wine but sparkling sweet wine like Moscato. It dampened my dining experience just a tad. Also, they don't give you a tour when you first arrive to check in. It's kind of a 'help yourself and find your own way around' service. Although they had plenty signs to show the way, it would be a nice gesture to make a customer feel welcome to be shown around.

Really lovely room, comfy beds, bathroom really nice, best shower and lovely nz products. Nice and quiet space, a perfect treat for us. Very central, and though we only tried the hotel cafe there were lots of other dining/ bar options both in-house and nearby. Compared to other places we've stayed in Invercargill, we thought the extra $ was well worth it.

The window in the bathroom looking straight through into the main studio area! 🤣 We shut the curtain pretty quick! Granted, it opened up and added light to the bathroom space but unless you're staying in the room alone, it could accidentally be a bit voyeuristic!

Beautiful modern hotel centrally located. The rooms were an excellent size with all great facilities and very comfortable. Car parking on site with very easy access. The hotel is located near to the main shopping areas and cafes. Wonderful cafes on site and a great view from the rooftop bar

We booked two nights originally with car parking and extended that by booking directly with the hotel for one more night. Despite specifying car parking and they seeing the car, showing us how to access the car park, they didn’t charge for the car park until mentioned on the day we were leaving, when we handed in the key. Never before has this happened. Car parking, when requested is always included in the payment when made at the hotel.

Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, big room which I would expect for the price.

Value for money at Meld was poor. My husband and I ordered a set menu for two and was not really enough for a dinner. We had a bad experience at Niche Bar. two out of the six of us were refused to be served and brought water. These men were not intoxicated. We are farmers and they were just tired - hence the mini break. They were not being rowdy or disruptive and we were staying upstairs so not about to drive anywhere. We just wanted to relax and have a few quiet beers after dinner

Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean.

Glass windows in front of toilet. Curtain could be pulled for Privacy but this was located outside the bathroom. Had to pay additional $30 for parking which I felt should have been included in room price. Also there was no bathroom heater or heated towel rail - resulting in damp towels on our second nights stay. The tiles in the bathroom were also cold to walk on . For a luxury hotel Ifelt it was overpriced at $225 per night plus$30 parking.

The hotel is very new. The room is well soundproofed, very quiet and dark enough. Three unique details: 1: There is no noise from the small refrigerator and air conditioner. 2: The tableware is very exquisite. 3: The lights in the bathroom can be dimmed at night. The bathroom is big enough, with enough water and hot enough. There are two beds, and the bed is actually King size. The bedding is very good, I really like the cloud-like pillows. The waiters were friendly. The restaurant is well worth the experience. The most important thing is that the hotel price and the hardware facilities and software services it provides are very good value for money.

The staff are amazing. The front desk lady gave our son a set of pencils and colour book and truely made his day. The down stairs restaurant is a suprise! Best risotto and oysters ever

Every single staff member was very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee on-site was great and really convenient. The rooms were nicely appointed and good sizes. The location was handy. Parking was great - they put your car in the parking area for you and you get it when you want. My parents are elderly and their room was right opposite the lift - couldn't have asked for a better location! When it comes down to choosing somewhere to stay ... this would always be my first choice in Invercargill.

It was a quite noisy late at night being near bars and restaurants. The bed was not the best. Otherwise rooms were great.
