*Joint rooms (adjoining) rooms for a family to stay close *Free parking *Free coffee vouchers when an error happened to both rooms (access cards didn't work) *Sky movie *Amazong views!! *So lucky we had an upgrade!! *So lovely they sent a 40th Birthday card and some macaroons to my room - Thank you *Nice to pay on arrival *Friendly staff everywhere, great service

Not big deal TBH. *Could gym open earlier than 7am? *Wanted to have coffee but staff not around one time. *A pillow case had some dirt or markings on arrival like it wasn't washed or changed but was changed fast *Could the in room dinning consider Soup on the menu? *the Twin share room bathroom is not very private. It feels like you can see the other person in there easily....and the circle hole... My sister didn't like it :) *Could you install power points close to bed/ bedside table?

What a view, it’s well worth forking out the extra for a lake view room. We spent hours just looking out of the window at the magnificent view of the lake and mountains. The staff here are very friendly and always offer the assistance.

The main issue with this hotel was the lack of parking, we found Queenstown great for staying out to 8 pm, only to return to the hotel and find no available parking spaces. Due to the distance from town we need to take the car. I the room there was no USB charging port and only one chair to sit while a second person would need to sit on the bed to look out the window at the same time.

The view from our room was incredible. The breakfast was very good. The gym was suitable. Coffee also good. Loved the housekeeping service daily.

The fact of not being able to drink or use water...and the pool during our stay was not good. Didn't like the instant coffee in room and there weren't enough sachets of it. Would prefer a coffee plunger with better quality coffee and perhaps complementary biscuits or snack. We also didn't get any cups in our room on the last day.

views are amazing if you stay in a lake view room but not too far from the reception. Room size is good and the beds are comfortable

It's a dated hotel, bathrooms are pretty old. Lift is also a dated one, if you stay close to the lift you can hear it going up and down all day long. We have stayed there for 3,4 times sometimes the morning buffet could be disappointing.

The superior king room had a great view of the lake. The bed was comfortable & pay tv was a plus. The hotel staff were very welcoming & allowed us to check in early, plus the 11am checkout is generous. The facilities were awesome, the gym even though it was small and limited was still handy.

Although the hotel is a walkable distance from town, the pay off is the amazing view you get. There is a bus stop approx 300m either side of the hotel, so you essentially don’t have to walk up the hill, if you choose the bottom hill to goto town, & the top bus stop to get off when coming back to the hotel.

We had a family room with a beautiful view over the lake, the room was spacious and warm (in winter). There was plenty of space for all of us.

The bathroom was too small and a bit dated. The washing machines were only partially working. The restaurant was much too expensive for what it offered. The views are stunning but the location on fernhill makes it a little far to walk to town, especially because it is uphill.

Quite possibly the hotel with the most beautiful location in Queenstown. Its foyer, bar and dining areas have panoramic views over the lake and the mountain ranges beyond. It is quite stunning. The staff are really charming and helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with large soft beds. Overall, highly recommended.

The buffet breakfast needs to be checked and refreshed more often. I rejected it the first day as everything seemed to have run out. The restaurant has limited dinner choices - perhaps not surprising as everyone normally heads into town for dinner. What I had was both generous and delicious.

We had 1 night stay after walking the Kepler Track with our 2 children in December 2023. Our whole experience of the hotel was fantasic. From arrival and the wonderful staff on reception, to our spacious room with a great view to the pool and facilities which we wish we had longer to enjoy. We went out of the hotel for dinner but enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar and great hotel breakfast in the morning. Perfect for our family of 4. Thanks!

The room was very spacious and nice, the view was amazing we had lakeside view on level 2. We liked the resort, room service was great. Spa left you with picturesque views of the mountains behind you. Service was great :)

For us Melbournians the pool was pretty cold, would have been great if it was heated, so we didn't get to experience that. We did get a random call at 4.30am from reception (wrong room number) but it happens. We spent an average of $8 on Uber each way to and from central Queenstown. The service wasn't running, though it have been good for the hotel to cover these costs.

Views are incredible from every window, especially in the bar/restaurant. We booked a superior Queen with lake view and it was fabulous. Twin queen beds, super comfortable, a/c, and all the usual - kettle, tea, coffee, iron and ironing board etc… on the 4th floor. The gym also had an awesome view and plenty of equipment. The pool was a lovely addition after a day of excitement in Queenstown, although water temperature is glacial and pool floor a bit stained. However a couple of jacuzzi’s are by the pool if you need to warm up. There’s a guess laundry with at least 6 washing machines and dryers costing $4 a load and $4 a dryer. The staff are lovely and professional, easy check in. The bar & restaurant are very reasonably priced also great, efficient service and staff. We had a t-bone for $46 (£23) and the salmon was huge at $42 (£21) with sauce, veg and wedges. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from/into Queenstown, sitting up Fern Hill-it’s not too bad a climb but worth it for the views alone. Overall a lovely, chilled out 3 nights for £562 (without breakfast) so not cheap but was worth it.

Cold water & stained pool floor.
