The hospitality was incredible, all of the staff were so lovely and helpful. The free breakfast and the wine tasting sessions were great! Our room also had a beautiful view of the lake and Queenstown.
The steep walk to/from town was much steeper/harder than we thought it would be based on the other reviews. We ended up just getting Ubers home from the town centre for about $10 because it was so steep! The only other things was that our room was not as spacious as in the pictures, it was more like a hotel room rather than a unit. The walls were also very thin. Other than that, the stay was great!

Everything! The hospitality and service were the best Iâve known. It was a home from home. The breakfast was fantastic, the room, and personal touches. The owners and staff have thought of everything. We had accumulated some washing on our travels and they had lovely clean washing machine and tumble dryer we could use free of charge. A piano, lounge area, books, games. Very close to the lake - just a ten minute walk there and just because itâs already mentioned previouslyâŠ. a short hill and steps back up which really isnât that bad! Take it slow⊠my husband and I are old and it wasnât an issue! He marched up. If youâre disabled then take a cheap Uber for a few quid. Nothing but praise from us! I loved the wine and canopes! Thank you. đ
Everything was great!

This is a wonderful lodging in Queenstown! Itâs very charming in a wonderful location just outside of the city center, the staff (particularly Mary Ann) are beyond welcoming, and itâs comfortable. It was a great value also for almost that it had to offer (including breakfast). I would recommend the B&B to anyone. One sweet touch, I had an all day tour to Milford Sound and because I was leaving before breakfast, the staff packed me a wonderful 2-bag breakfast and lunch that was perfect! I was in New Zealand on business in Auckland and only had 3 free days and Iâm so happy that I visited Queenstown, one of the most beautiful places on earth. The stay at this accommodation made it perfect.

I loved our beautiful stay at Queenstown House! We had a very comfortable ensuite room, which included a fridge and seating area. However, what made our stay so great was the warm welcome from the hosts, the delicious and generous breakfast buffet, as well as the (all-inclusive!) regular canapes, where we were welcomed by the host to taste a few of the local wines and had the opportunity to chat with the other guests. Highly recommend!
The only slight downside was that the short walk from CBD to Queenstown House included one massive hill with steep stairs. However, this can be avoided by taking a small detour, making it easier to walk back and forth to town.

It was over clean with the usual facilities we have come to expect in motels and B&B in New Zealand. Amazing views over the lake from the breakfast room and a very good breakfast too with very pleasant staff.
The property is on several levels so there are various stairs so can be awkward moving around suitcases. To get to the town centre is only around 10 to 15 minutes but there is a steep incline to get down and back. Of course plus some steps. Not ideal, if anyone has walking difficulty. The room was very tastily decorated and absolutely spotless, but what I would do is remove the foot rest at the bottom of the bed as far better to leave space for people to get through and also provide space for suitcases as in the room we had, there was no storage space for such items.

Excellent service from Paul and the team Nice breakfast Amazing views They offer canapes and wine some nights if numbers allow - unfortunately we had something on the night during our stay which they ran spacious room Location provides a beautiful view and short walk into the main town - note though there is a VERY steep hill (There may be another way around but we didn't find one/look for one) so be prepared (Queenstown if very hilly, this can't be helped!)
Parking sometimes got quite full

The attention to detail and effort the hosts make is phenomenal. From the fluffy bathrobes,to the fully equipped free laundry and quality decor! The breakfast include d is so delicious and gourmet beyond what I was expecting! Did I mention the view? Simply stunning, close to perfection!
Just note the walk up the hill is very steep from the harbour especially tough on the knees but the view is worth it! We recommend taking the longer less steep route past the school and down to the foreshore park.

Beautiful room with an excellent view over Queenstown and the lake. Breakfast was very good with many options to choose from and freshly prepared. Approx 8 min walk into the centre.
Stunning views means youâre on a hill. Hence, prepare for a pretty steep walk back. There is a slightly longer alternative which is not so steep however. I wouldnât let this deter you though as the rooms and the view are definitely worth it. Also helps to burn off some calories.

Maryanne was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the lake and Queenstown We couldnât fault anything about the accommodation it was warm quite very clean with a comfortable bed and little extraâs like bath robe and slippers Great to have a car parking space and so close to the shops restaurants and etc we could just walk everywhere Would definitely recommend staying here Anne

This property has adapted itself to its clientele very well. The room was on the smallish side but attractively and comfortably fitted out. Good bathroom. Lovely breakfast provided and canapĂ©s and drinks on one evening were very pleasant. Thereâs a cosy sitting room on the ground floor.
Parking is awkward, as there are not many spaces and the side street is steep. Not enough hanging space or spare space for the roomâs too many cushions and pillows.
