The room was clean and there were some extra little touches left from the team that really enhanced our stay. There was a personal note to welcome us, and brochures of attractions and activities nearby. We also really appreciated the extra steps Aura Accommodation takes to be sustainable and to support the local community too. The facilities available were explained and easy to use, and check in was fantastic. The location was simply fantastic, walking distance to all of the restaurants you could want and an amazing park right by the water's edge. Honestly one of the best public parks I have seen for a while. Walking along the boardwalk and then over to the Government Gardens was a really lovely walk that could be done at a leisurely pace. And then it's just a very short drive to shops and some amazing attractions nearby. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I could not fault their service from the moment we made the booking to the time we were checking out. If only all hotel and motel stays could be that seamless and friendly.

The location was ideal. we stayed for 3 nights, arriving after hours the first evening. The after hours checkin process was easy and convenient. The property had free parking which was a plus. The 2 bedroom apartment was fully equipped and clean. There was a cute little deck with seating but it was a bit hot to enjoy. The staff was great and provided assistance with more towels and restaurant selections.

The construction going on across the street was not a great view. We did not spend much time in our apartment though so it was not a big deal.

After a tour of the new, international Spa and a lakefront walk to Eat Street for a meal, I returned to Aura motels keen for a soak in one of their onsite thermal pools...wonderfully relaxing! The comfy beds further aided a very warm, deep sleep overnight. Next morning, I enjoyed a cup of fresh, locally supplied plunger coffee along with A2 milk with breakfast. Aura Accommodation prides itself on being an ecofriendly business. The hospitable team recycle glass milk bottles, support local initiative's and the thermal water is pumped back down to the underground supply to recycle. The grounds are nicely setup for families with an outdoor heated pool, play area and barbeques. I will return.

I loved the promt communication between staff and I, and the friendly vibe in which they carried themselves. From welcoming to when we left. The experience was just awsome. Loved and kept the notes staff left each morning, and to acknowledge my daughters netball tournament really showed their customer service.👌 Happy to say our daughters team won their pool comp and came away as Runners up in the final. What an awsome result. I'd definitely stay here again and I've also recommended Aura accommodation to our families. Love love love it!!

Other than the natural smell of Rotorua air? Absolutely NOTHING!.

Just an amazing experience. They did a great job before we got there telling us about places to go and eat. They communicated with me anytime I had a question, which was so nice. Once there, I wanted ideas for hikes, and they gave specific ideas based on the weather or what we wanted. It was our honeymoon, and they did a cute note and wine for us. It was so sweet. The place had plenty of room for two people, and could have for three. We liked the mineral bath and steamy pool too. You should stay here. Really kind staff and knowledgeable. They also do a donation if you don’t need your room cleaned everyday.

Well equipped room and kitchen (free fresh local milk), clean, and neat. Comfortable bed. Laundry facility. Quiet. Everything is well organized with thoughtful designed. Care for recycling. The staffs welcome us from the day we booked the room, gave clear instructions for late arrival. A handwritten personalized welcome package is a nice touch. Thanks you! Good location, nearby restaurants, shops & sightseeing.

Everything was perfect - the instructions for the check-in were clear. The room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the heated outside pool and appreciated the clean towels by the pool. The staff was really friendly

The kitchen really needs an upgrade, especially the two taps for cold & hot water made the dishes cleaning impossible... In the bathroom there is no space for your personal stuff - but all these were minor issues, and we really enjoyed the stay.

Everything and especially the warm welcoming staff. Loved the mineral pool but only could handle one soak. Ellen. Poppy, Chloe were exceptional and so helpful. These girls work so hard to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We stayed 6 nights and found it hard to leave. Very family friendly and perfect for the little ones. The heated pool was a winner for my son!

We were in room 9 which might have been designed for wheelchair access so the shower was a bit tricky. However, we managed and it really wasn't a problem. That particular bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade with fixtures.

Our experience started on a positive note a month before we stayed, due to my incompetence when making a booking 😅 Thanks to Chloe for her patience and care in ensuring we got our refund for my mistake 😁 Absolutely enjoyed our weekend here. Fantastic location with friendly staff and great facilities. Walking or biking distance (bicycles available on site!!) to the city center, Government Gardens and Eat Street (yummmmmm). The recycling and composting is a brilliant initiative and I hope to see this practiced in more hotels across the world. Loved the thermal outdoor pool and mineral soak tubs. An outdoor BBQ breakfast was an awesome way to start the day and the cooking and cleaning utensils available made eating and clean up a breeze. We enjoyed the little plaques of information dotted around the beautiful green gardens. We also appreciated the information board with ideas of what to do, see and eat around Rotorua. We were regular visitors many years ago and it was interesting to see the changes and developments over the years. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean. We had Sky tv but spent most the time exploring the hotel and attractions. We're planning to come back in October for our Son's birthday and the school holidays. I'm actively recommending Aura Accomodation Rotorua to our friends and family planning a trip to Rotorua or nearby areas. Thank you for making our stay memorable ☺️

... the only sore point for my hubby and I was our bed being a bit too firm for us and the pot holes in the entrance of the driveway (we've got low profile tyres 🤦🏽‍♀️) but we're looking forward to seeing your plans for updating your mineral soak tubs 👍🏽

The staff here are amazing they are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is large, clean and well equipped the pool and baths are great and clean and well maintained with free towels as well. The free milk from the local farm is lovely along with free tea and coffee and a big bonus was the EV charging point just outside the reception area. We had a brilliant stay here and can highly recommend this place.
