Vivien is a great hostess and met us at the door. We were shown around the facilities and settled in nicely. The location is great, not far from the Redwoods entrance, but off the main road, with a nice outdoor area to relax in . The bed was comfortable with a selection of pillows and the bathroom was well appointed. Breakfast was generous and at a time that was selected by us. Vivien was friendly, great to chat to and had lots of information about what was available nearby. Parking was directly outside and off the street. Tea and coffee facilities were missed in the room, but were available in the nearby dining room

Stayed 2 nights with Vivian at B&B@Redwoods in early September 2023. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The accommodation was clean. modern and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Juice, coffee, fruit, boiled eggs, toast and jam. Vivian is the perfect hoist. She is a fountain of knowledge about Rotoura. She gave us 5 recommendations in our stay and they were all perfect. We had a blast and would highly recommend the B&BRedwoods.

This B&B surpassed our expectations. Vivian is a magnificent host and she went above and beyond in also helping us with reservations for activities in the area. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast with Vivian and the other guests. Vivian provided us an excellent breakfast with several options. We enjoyed our stay!

The host is the most friendly and warm welcoming person you will ever meet. She helped us a lot in planning our trips. Gave us wonderful, excellent, and accurate information, which was essential for our planning. Thank you. The room is excellent, you will find everything you need. The breakfast is amazing. There are so many good things! Wish we could stay longer. Make yourself a favour and book a stay at this accommodation. We will be returning there if we ever come back to NZ.

Great location for the Redwoods forest and able to get fast track tickets for it from the host Extremely warm welcome Vivien spent time with us when we arrived to explain the best things to do in Rotorua and provided a map. good choice for breakfast , private entrance for room, Vivien was extremely knowledgeable and involved all her guests

Where do I even begin.. Vivienne is the best part of our stay! We enjoy talking to her about all sorts of things! She is very friendly, very helpful in regards of finding places to go to! Even though we had some other couple staying with us next door, we could not hear them at all. It felt very private and cozy. We were worried about the smell of Rotorua, but there is no smell at all from Vivienne’s place! You would not regret staying at Vivienne’s, and we will be back here when we visit Rotorua again!!

The host provides a very personalised service. She is interested in showcasing the best of Rotorua and certainly knows the area very well

Nothing. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean. This is a B&B accommodation so breakfast is served at the same table with the other guests which can be uncomfortable for non morning people!

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Redwoods. Vivien is such a gracious host. She joined us for conversation both mornings while we devoured a delicious homemade breakfast before heading out for our daily adventures. It felt homey, yet private and comfortable.

Some upgrades to the space could offer the host additional value. While we didn’t mind, this could be an opportunity for growth and more bookings.

Breakfast was great. Had everything I would normally have at home. Good location for the reason we were in Rotorua this particular occasion. Will book again in future to go to the Redwoods night walk.

Have not used B & B before and expected as small fridge and microwave in room but was not the case. Learning curve.

I stayed at a lot of hotels during my month in New Zealand, but this was the nicest! Cozy, comfortable, quiet! So close to the redwoods and the treewalk, which is utterly wonderful day or night. Super convenient to Rotorua city center, but not close enough to be constantly smelling sulfur :) Vivien was a great host with lots of advice and helpful guidance. Plus she's just a joy to talk to over breakfast.
