Location was perfect could walk to shopping mall supermarket and all the main Rotorua Eating establishments and lakefront.

They only have Valet Parking for your car and it is $49 per day not included in your room price. Your only other option was to park on streets surrounding and pay $2/hr during day 9am to 5pm Mon to Friday and 8.30am to 12 pm saturday rest free. Could only pay 3hrs at a time and the parking police were out at 9.05am one morning booking everyone that hadnt paid by then. My friend also staying at the Pullman copped a $50 fine one day not paying by 9am for parking.

Great hotel at great location for the Tarawera Ultra weekend. Comfy beds, the cot provided was perfect for our 1yo. Very quiet during night time. Good chance of smelling the hydrogen sulphide if wind is in the wrong direction. Room had a small minibar, we just emptied it and used it for our own drinks. Great shower for post-run recovery, too. Big screen TV present but we never touched it. We did not have breakfast included, but there is a buffet option for NZ $49 with great selection of hot and cold options. Food options around each corner.

Room had only one bin which is insufficient with a 1yo, but may be fine for others. We bought bin bags.

The staff were very friendly. Reiko behind the bar was the master of everything the morning rush; nothing was too much. Amazing breakfast, worth every cent. Rooms were very spacious, way better than anything we tried in Auckland. Location is perfect! So close to all the restaurants & free overnight parking (unmetered 5pm-9am) - worked perfectly for us because we were gone all day. We left some baby ‘comforters’ in our room and the team found them & are returning them to us!

We live in a PassivHaus so always find conditioned air a little drying. But 99.9% of people wouldn’t notice I’m sure. Lots of A/C control, and the outdoor temperature fluctuated a bit during our stay and the room temp remained consistent, so that’s all you can ask!

The room was amazing, and the views of the lake spectacular. This was a suite, so I expected a decent size, but it exceeded those expectations. The room had a big shower, as well as a luxury bathtub... and we used both. The hotel is centrally located, and everything is within walking distance. We were spoiled for the choice of eating options, all close-by. On the first night we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and found the service to be exceptionally friendly. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, and some Nespresso coffee capsules.

The safe didn't work initially, and I had to get the maintenance staff to fix it. Also, the faucet at the bathtub leaked a LOT of water onto the floor while running a bath. Finally, at $49 per day for parking, I would have expected the parking to be covered. But I'm glad that it was behind a high gate, at least.

Faciltiy is new and comfortable.

This is not a complaint but you can consider this as feedback from clients. The curtains in the room are not very tightly sealed, which results in light seeping through the gaps early in the morning. This causes the room to be very bright, leading to customers waking up very early, significantly affecting the quality and depth of sleep. Even when attempting to pull the curtains, it is impossible to achieve a complete blackout. Need to improve on that. And at the check out counter, only one staff working at the reception and it seems that he is dealing with some difficult problems and, 4-5 customers line up in the queue and wait for the next available staff. Needs Improving about this.

Clean, modern and classy hotel with friendly staff. Like anywhere, the level of room you select determines your experience.

I greatly dislike the trend of opaque glass toilet cubicles in hotel rooms. Unfortunately, depending on your choice of room, one will be imposed on you. Both a glass door that never actually closes (nor reaches the ceiling) and semi-transparent glass walls allowing your partner / travel companion great insights into your intimate toiletry procedures has always struck me as pointless, irritating and just a silly design fad. Also, due to the L-shape of the room the aircon was ineffective at cooling the sleeping area - another example of design over function.

The location was fabulous - very convenient for our conference and for eating and generally just enjoying the town. Of course, there is a price premium that comes with that! The room was nice and very spacious (a king size bed), particularly for one person.

The breakfast was fine but nothing special - it had the expected range of things, but nothing jumped out as being super. I heard a fellow guest complaining about the price of the breakfast for what she was getting. The only food that I had a specific complaint about was that I tried a doughnut from the pastries section and it was very stale. Otherwise it was okay.

Incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous staff made this a very enjoyable stay. There was a minor issue with my original room and the staff dealt so friendly and professional with it and generously upgraded and moved me to a different room. Room was huge and super clean. Loved the Nespresso machine and the lighting options. Special mention to the lovely ladies from housekeeping who let me swap for my fav Nespresso capsules and kept the room spotless for all 5 days. Breakfast was awesome, dinner was tasty and again - the restaurant staff are also absolutely fantastic.

The parking was a little expensive but the staff makes you feel so welcome and special that you easy forget about it.

A modern comfortable hotel in the middle of Rotorua overlooking the visitor centre - location exceptional - walking distance to most things in town. Valet parking available at a premium but plenty of street parking (metered through the week but we were advised by front desk this was the case). Very clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and efficient. Chocolates & water as a welcome was a nice touch. Great views from our room on the 5th floor. Would definitely stay again.

Room was super spacious but a slightly odd set up with shower and toilet in glass (opaque) cubicles in a very open plan layout. Took a bit of getting used to, but it seems many of the newer/refurbished hotels are embracing this kind look? Coffee/tea making facilities available but teaspoons were missing.

Location was great, right in the heart of everything and having eat street within walking distance was perfect for us. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Our safe didn't work when we first arrived and someone was sent up straight away to fix it.

The parking is overpriced, we chose to take the free parking between the hours of 5pm-9am and save the $49 overnight. The towels are not very big and are scratchy.
