The location was easy to find. We were arriving really late and they accommodated that with a smile. The unit was roomy and was just what we wanted to relax in. It was really clean and the towels were extremely soft. The shower was large and had good pressure. To drop off the key early was clear and convenient. The staff were exceptional.

There was some little things like the drawers in the bathroom cabinet had some water damage and there were a few marks on the carpet. The sofa bed was also very firm to sit in however they had other chairs to sit in.

Very comfortable stay. The apartment was clean and cosy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower pressure was great.

It was just slightly difficult getting luggage up and down the stairs, when staying on the top floor (those only staying for a night wouldn't have an issue). And there was no separate body wash and shampoo/conditioner, just a single unnamed container in the shower - presumed it was body wash.

Loved the sunny balcony and kitchen and bathroom facilities and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable over our 17 day tour of the South Island.

Loved being upstairs but it was extremely difficult to pull our luggage up all those stairs! ( two of our group had knee injuries) Perhaps staff should offer to do that for older travelers.

Wow what can we say, the room was spotless. We had just come from 3 different 5 star chains thinking it was going to be a downgrade. We were seriously wrong. Hats off to the management and staff I also left medication behind in the fridge, they went absolutely above and beyond to get it couriered to me. Absolutely exceptional!!!!

Staff / owners were beyond brilliant - ready to go out of their way when I thought I had a car issue at the start of my trip. Huge room with all the stuff to make it easy to arrange yourself for recovering from travelling and prepare for the next day.

Moving my suitcase and numerous cases up a few flights of stairs - but know this would be the case.

The motel is right on the main road, so easy access. It wasn't noisy, though, so bonus there. Everything feels really crisp and new. The view is towards the mountains [not the sea as you might expect from the name]. A very relaxed feel. It had Sky TV, which is becoming a rarity.

The lady on reception was very friendly she even lent us an umbrella. The room was perfect. It had everything we needed.

The only thing I didn't like was it was up 3 flights of stairs. At 70 and with heavy bags it was hard going.

Bed soo comfy, oversized bed that didn’t have that worn out feeling like a lot of places have. Best night sleep iv had in ages, no road noise, very friendly staff who greeted with a smile and even on a very warm day had time for a bit of a chat,

Water going cold and then having to be moved to another room where the water went cold in the next room aswell before the bath Evan filled up so that was the main thing I was looking forward to buy couldn't quite enjoy with limited water

Very nice modern apartment. Was larger than expected. Nice views and TV channels were a nice bonus. We already knew about having to walk up the stairs from previous reviews so wasn't a problem. Room was quiet as well
