Comfy bed, lovely room, warmth, cleanliness.

I arrived in the dark with a large mercedes car. It was a very narrow gap between the tree and the other guests cars to the right. I actually scrapped the door and left front fender of that borrowed late model car in attempting to get through. I could not back out of the narrow driveway. A kind young man moved his car back just enough for me to squeeze through and guided manuvouring so that I could drive straight out next morning. I can understand that the tree is precious, but maybe it could be better lit with a few solar lights?

The place was spotless and the room very comfortable and attractive, great bedside lighting, the bathroom was clean as a new pin, nice thick towels and the shower was amazing. The kitchen was readily available when needed. Worked well for our one night stay - nice chatting with another resident over breakfast.

Breakfast was included - this seemed to consist of large jars of weetbix, rolled oats and brown sugar and bowls full of packets of 2 minute noodles. There was no fresh milk, but a bowl of milk powder. Fresh apples and kiwifruit were on the shelves. A toaster was available but no bread or spreads. The owner seemed to spend his day in his dressing gown. Pillows are feather so a little soft for our liking.

Loved staying in such an immaculate place with great service and facilities near the sea. Old fashioned House was well kept and full of character.

The parking was a bit tight. We all got safe parks but had to work together as guests to make sure we all got out safely in the morning.

Every single detail is thought to provide you with the comfort and homey feeling. Bed heater, crafts and decorations give you the sense of eternal welcome. Pets are also welcome and besides the cookies and breakfast supplies for you, noticed there were also a section with pet’s food in case you run short. Water bowls and leads in the lounge area, all well thought for us. No noise at night, very quiet area and private parking in the back of the property.

The only thing stopping us from staying forever here is that we have to share the bathroom. other than that, all was great.

Everything, I booked the single room at the very back of the house, so had my own bathroom kitchen was very nice had lots of things for you to eat like biscuits, breakfast cereals, milo, tea, coffee

The book on the table in the entrance way didn't have my name on it or room numbers which ment I was a little confused when I arrived and followed instructions and I booked on a Monday for that same weeks Friday night, even followed the late booking sheet outside the front door with no avail, eventually the owner came outside to close the front door and saw me standing there

A beautiful room, generously proportioned with a very comfortable bed Plush, huge dressing gowns Availability of a spa in the garden (sadly we did not arrive in time to use it) Bathroom downstairs was well appointed with toiletries and thick towels. Also had a heater light Very well stocked kitchen with all necessities and more - including instant noodles which I had for breakfast! Easy self check-in, useful for us as we arrived late and did not want to disturb anyone else.

Our room, #1, was super clean, large and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was very easy just behind the property and the host really opened up his home with free tea, coffee and biscuits.

Confirmation of our booking was not the easiest as I tried multiple times throughout the day of to confirm with the host over phone and text to no avail. Self check-in while explanatory, wasn't my preference.

The beds were one of the most comfortable beds i have stayed in, the feather duvet and pillows made it feel so luxurious. The breakfast was a fantastic extra with good options including cereal, cookies, fruit and a large selection of hot drinks. The shower pressure was great, even the toilet paper they used was high quality. The owner was absolutely lovely and the place is dog friendly inside with a fenced section out the back.

We were very happy with everything i actually dont think anything needs to be changed.

I found there was not enough information on the website to make a booking that was ideal for me. I thought I had booked the suite with an ensuite bathroom and found on arrival that I had not. I would also have liked a more detailed description of each room with photo especially which rooms were downstairs and which close to the kitchen as I have a disability the makes stairs difficult and having to go up and down to the kitchen was not fun.

One of the best stays we have had with my partner in New Zealand. Good location, quiet neighbourhood, parking away from the street, nice private garden with a new spa, and when you enter the house there is a very homely lobby where you do your self check-in. It has a space to watch TV, to sit and eat and a very modern and complete kitchen. The two-story house has in each story its own bathroom, washing machine and dryer (extra cost). The rooms and the house, in general, are nicely decorated, the house is light and airy with lots of windows, it is not cold or hot in summer. In the evening we had the opportunity to meet the pets of the house, two 7 months old puppies that are being trained, very friendly, playful and at the same time, they respect your space too if you tell them to. The cleanliness and care of the place are extraordinary. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. There is a small shop there a block and a half away if you need to get something quick, but the town has all the supermarkets and other shops you could possibly need within 5 - 10 minutes.
