The staff were lovely, very welcoming and provided recommendations for dinner in town. The room was large, comfortable, clean and warm!

As the room we stayed in was right at the front of the property and on the busy road, there was a lot of traffic noise and light through the curtains. Other rooms wouldn’t be impacted by this so it’s just the luck of the draw

There is a log burner in the house, unable to use during our visit, maybe gets used during cold winter months only.

The bed was comfortable and the rooms clean. An older establishment but well maintained . Nicely serviced each day

The traffic noise was a little over the top but still slept well. Maybe Ashburton Police could do a little better enforcing the no engine brakes policy in the town.

very clean basic but great value for money. we required a place to break our journey from Christchurch to Dunedin after arriving late the previous day from UK. it served the purpose.

Our room was close to a busy road and suffered from noise from trucks and other vehicles.

Staff was very friendly. Location was easy to find and parking was safe and just next to our room. Room was warm and beds were very comfortable.

TV was a bit small and needs upgrade but not really important.

the room was well presented, plenty of towels when we arrived and all the extra toiletries were of good use

personally one thing I didn’t like was that there was everything to make tea or coffee - except milk. would have been great if there was a small one supplied

Drive needs attention where unit 3 is. Well the place was okay and meet our needs, we did not like when it was on the main road. Not easy to get into or out off when busy time of day.

We checked in quite late so we rung ahead and the staff were amazing. They even warmed our room which my children really appreciated. The rooms where spacious and really comfy beds.

Close to Caroline Bay where we were attending a function over the weekend.

Parking is very tight. The hot water for shower takes some working out with a weak flow.

We had the big house. Spacious, clean, wonderful 👍😊

Great place. Only thing was not enough toilet paper and no milk but quickly remedied when we called.
