Our 2 bedroom unit was huge. Perfect for families, longer stays, or work. Had absolutely everything we needed in the unit, including washing machine, dryer, large fridge, large pantry and even an air fryer. Lots of cupboard and storage space. Lots of parking space. Location was perfect, as we could walk to an event at the botanic gardens (only a block over), and CBD was just a few minute drive. Unit was clean, and staff were friendly. Would be happy to stay again, and will recommend to others.

The location was perfect for our needs and the staff was super friendly and willing to meet our every request. The room had plenty of space and was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the area quiet for sleeping.

The only issue would be parking the rooms could be allocated a space so you are sure to get one outside your room but this is only a minor issue as we could always get a park not too far away.

From the outside it might look a little rough but the room was actually really nice and super good size with everything you need. Host was super lovely and helpful as we got to the motel late so she'd turned the heat pump on for us. Nice and quiet and I like their sustainability focus. And great location and price.

Bed was a little uncomfortable but reasonable.

Easy and convenient self check in. Ample space with separate kitchen, living dining, bedrooms, and bathroom. Ample storage and facilities in the kitchen.. Heating in all rooms if needed. Clean towels every day were nice, but not necessary. I like their approach to recycling and keeping rubbish separated from food waste. A pleasant stay.

Walls were a bit thin in the bedroom. Could hear neighbors talking clearly 🙄 A side lamp or two in the living room to make lighting less harsh.

Fitzgerald on King was not our first choice of motel to stay at (the other motel was fully booked), however we were pleasantly surprised and very glad that this is where we ended up. The location was excellent as it was close to family. The motel unit was quite private, very clean and quiet. We liked that it had a full kitchen which was roomy and also the option of Sky TV was a bonus.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were very happy with everything provided, the space we had and also the privacy.

The motel was very close to the centre of town and was comfortable to stay in. It's within a few minutes drive of Caroline Bay and the main attractions Timaru has to offer. Staff were friendly as well and the stay itself was amazing due to the bedding and the fantastic shower.

Large, light room with separate lounge, bedrooms and kitchen. Kitchen was well-equipped. Convenient location, and very quiet (no noise from other rooms or from the road)

The bathroom door was extremely squeaky, so you couldn’t use the toilet at night without waking everyone up

This motel was such a step up from another motel booking I had earlier in the year in Te Anau for around the same price. Fitzgerald on King is so spacious with two bedrooms. Unit 12 has had a refurbishment and is light and bright. Good size separate kitchen. Warm and sunny during my stay. Large spacious bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything at this property met expectations

Super clean, spacious, just a 5 minute drive to the eatery hub of town. Easy walk to Botanic Gardens.

If I had to be really picky, I would say a small amount of traffic noise from King Street , but only from the rear bedroom. The way to fix that would be to stay in the opposite accommodation building.

What’s not to like! A very comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean apartment at a very competitive price. Bright decor, modern furnishings. Close to a large supermarket. Parking outside room. We had a two bed apartment which came with free laundry facilities.
