Perfect accommodation choice for a last minute trip to Wellington. Super convenient location, really fresh, clean and comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor and weren't bothered with road noise, our room had loads of extras like a mini kitchenette with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Parking available at the hotel for $35 per day but we parked in the open Wilson carpark next door for $7 for a day and $7 per overnight. These are weekend costs, I believe week days are more expensive. Download the Parkmate app and it's very easy to manage.

Everything was great, no complaints

Purchased a continental breakfast - it was very good and enough for 2 days. Facilities were generally nice and new. Washer/dryer combo machine in room was a big plus but no instructions were provided and the staff didn't know how to use it -- we had to search online for the user manual. WiFi was strong and internet was fast. Nice refrigerator with a real freezer.

Bed blanket/comforter was very heavy/hot for the summer. Had to turn on the air conditioner but that turned on and off all night and blew air directly on the bed so I continually woke up to readjust the blanket being either too hot or too cold. $35 on-site parking had a limited number of spaces and we had to park on the street several times. On-site parking is 10am to 10am, unlimited entry/exits. Street parking duration is limited and you pay by the hour (but it is free from 8pm to 8am).

The reception staff were amazing. So friendly, professional, and helpful. I checked in late when reception was closed on a Sunday, called the after hours number and the receptionist/onsite manager came within 2 minutes as I didn’t get the lock code by email. My room wasn’t serviced and I needed the bins empty - spoke to reception as I was happy to do it myself - they got my room serviced and sorted straight away. I ran out of laundry detergent and they gave me another one. As I was there for the week and busy 8-6 I wanted to be able to watch the TV from the bed and they found a room that this was possible. Exceptional care from reception, thank you.

I loved it! If I could change anything it would be an open window or balcony but the building isn’t designed to allow for this. The air con worked well so I’m just trying to find something to say really.

Started with a brilliant and heartfelt welcome, so rare these days together with an obvious appreciation of our circumstances (my wife is disabled) by reserving us one of the few car parking places - astounding. Allocated the corner suite on the 4th floor, there was a view (sort of) over the city but it seemed special. The facilities were modern and clean, with everything we needed. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and bathroom well stocked. Excellent air-conditioning as the room, surrounded by glass attracted the sun’s heat. Within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit and just 10-minutes drive to the ferry terminal to the South Island.

Good location, close to everything, parking system is interesting! Modern rooms.

This is going to sound like a first world problem and I’m sure raise some eyebrows! I travel weekly for my work and stay in hotels the length and breadth of New Zealand and have done for around 15 years now so little things mean a lot. My room on this occasion was spacious and had a little kitchenette and dining table plus a not so comfortable chair and the only TV in the place, not in the separate bedroom. Again I know this is going to sound painful but I normally lie in bed and watch TV after a day at work.

The hotel is in a very good central location, so walking to the town centre and doing sightseeing was very easy. Very friendly staff. Good size off the room.

We didn`t like that there was no natural air flow. It would have been nice that there was maybe a small window that you could open for some fresh air as my friend and I don`t like airconditioning and heatpumps. The open shower wasn`t very practical. When showering the water flooded the floor as there was no edge to keep it at bay, so it made the floor very slippery and dangerous to fall. There was a very sharp ,high pitch noise coming from the water pipes, we think. So we both slept with earplugs.

Great location. Well appointed room. Quiet.

A desk clerk mentioned about the keycard tap required for the door after 8 pm. However they did not demonstrate it. I was expecting a slide similar to bank ATM doors. I tapped everything and nothing worked except the white key pad. Someone answered but it was unintelligible with the street noise. Fortunately other hotel guests arrived and I was able to enter with them. No one mentioned tapping in the lift either. It just so happened that other people were using the lift each time I took it.

Great to have a little kitchenette, the bed was comfortable by hotel standards. The shower was a good size, clean, and had decent water pressure and the soap smelled lovely. Nice to have heatpump/aircon with full controls in the room. Staff were friendly. Parking on site made unloading and loading a breeze. Easy walk to hospitality and entertainment venues.

The kitchenette rangehood is vented right outside the room and in the Wellington wind it makes a very loud "thwack thwank thwunk" noise 24/7. I highly recommend traveling with earplugs. The freezer seemed to have an issue which meant the fridge had a large puddle in it, but I was only there for 3 days so it wasn't really a problem for me.

Great location, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants/cafes. Bus to/from Wellington railway station stops right in front of the building. Our apartment was very convenient (really EVERYTHING was there), but a bit boring when it comes to coziness, especially when the weather keeps you indoors. Staff at reception were super friendly and always happy to have a chat (which we really appreciated). Very recommendable place to stay.

No windows could be opened, so we had to rely on the air conditioning for fresh air.

Lovely spacious room, extra comfy King size bed. Great to have basic cooking facilities and very handy to groovy Cuba St shops and restaurants as well as public transport. Friendly, helpful staff and was able to check in early. Good free wi-fi.

Room is for two, yet only one armchair? A filter coffee pot provided but no ground coffee! I expected a pod machine in this level of hotel, and a small bottle of fresh milk would be so much better than those tiny little UHT milk capsules. Also, naturally expected some Sky channels or a streaming service, but only TV. What??
