Breakfast was great and there was tonnes on offer. Nice touch having the coffee machine in the lobby.Friendly, welcoming staff and clean and comfortable rooms.

Air-conditioning wasn't working too well in our room which led to a poor night's sleep due to stuffiness. As it's on a main street this should be a priority as you would not want the window open due to possible noise.

The breakfast was a daily feast we enjoyed. Their sumptuous and healthy breakfast buffet puts the so called “ continental breakfast “ U S. hotel chains provide an utterly shameful slap on the face ! I bet you can’t have a better deal even at Ritz Carlton, unless you pay for a sit down “ breakfast” with steep bills. I will definitely return to Thon hotels if I return to Norway. Its central location was also another strong point about this hotel. Very close to main events, places and transportation to surrounding areas, including airport.

There were tiny broken pieces of glass on the floor. Tea kettle was on a separate shelf from its power base. The power base was also unplugged.. maybe a minor mistake by cleaning crews. They helped us to figure out quickly and not a big deal at all for the hotel that provided excellent foods, location and courteous staff.

Our choice of this hotel proved to be a wise one. The hotel locates in the center of the city and it is within walking distance to all attractions and destinations. It is the only hotel during our stay in Norway that offers kettle in the room. Furthermore, the 24-hour availability of hot + cold water and coffee at the reception area added a delightful touch of convenience to our stay.

Next time when we travel to Bergen, we may choose an airbnb or accommodations with kitchen facilities. It is so much cost-effective to purchase seafood from supermarket and cook ourselves than dining at the Seafood Market.

Breakfast was satisfactory but did not have the variety Thon Cecil in Oslo provides. On the plus side, your hotel provides a suitcase rack which is a really valuable asset. Great location, easily accessible by tram and staff friendly and helpful.

At the time of booking the room I thought I had booked directly with your hotel. Upon arrival I was informed that I had actually booked through Booking.com and therefore was not entitled to any loyalty points. I am not even sure that I didn't pay more for the room because of Booking.com. I will be more careful next time and I would prefer to deal directly with the hotel. Your hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great location near the historic area of Bryggen and the Fish Market as well as tram ride that overlooks the city and harbor area. Beds were very comfortable and the black out shades were excellent. Plenty of vanity items in the bathroom. They accommodated our request for a quiet room. The breakfast was excellent and offered a variety of items: yogurts, cereals, juices, coffee drinks, cheeses and salami, meat slices and don't miss their excellent omelette. Bacon was crisp and we enjoyed all of it on a rare sunny day on their terrace. Reception was also helpful in ordering us a taxi to the airport too.

No secure WiFi and a few stairs to reach our room even though there is an elevator for each floor. You may want to request no stairs as half the rooms per floor do not require stairs.

Good location, right in the middle of Bergen. Very modern hotel, good breakfast. A good place to relax after discovering Bergen. Parking is possible in a nearby parking garage (150 meters away), parking is based on your license plate and you pay when you leave the garage - when you register your license plate at the hotel, you will receive discount on the parking garage amount.

Central location. Excellent for buses and tram. Friendly helpful staff. The person who cleaned our rooms was outstanding. Very good breakfast served from 6.30am - good choice of food and drinks, staff quickly cleaned away used crockery Quiet room, spacious bathroom. Allowed us to check in an hour early. Good facilities - fridge, safe, multiple recharging points, TV, iron and ironing board Tea and coffee facilities in room and good coffee in lobby. Good value. We hope to return.

Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking around Bergen. Great room. Good light in bathroom, shower had a door, place for luggage & space to hang clothes, refrigerator, comfy bed and pillow plus a desk & 2 chairs made our three night stay very comfortable. Many of these features were not available in other places we stayed on our drive in the Norwegian countryside. Worried a little about parking since not available on site, but it was no problem. Staff had us park just two blocks away at City Park and register at hotel kiosk which gave us a nice discount. Be aware when checking out at the garage the instructions are only in Norwegian (no English) but we checked the website in advance and had no problem.

Everything was fine!

The hotel is bright and colourful with large, light rooms that are very well fitted out with all facilities. The windows can be opened to let in fresh air and are double glazed to keep out noise if needed. The hotel is right in the centre of Bergen on the edge of the main shopping area and there are many restaurants close by.

There is little to complain about - the breakfast area could have been a little larger.
