I am Gluten free & each morning at breakfast the staff were so helpful getting me GF muffins & breads. The location is amazing , perked on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. A little white chapel sits across from it on another cliff. We went in May , just my husband & myself. It was quiet, what we wanted. Loungers were easily available. The only issue was that our telephone & our safe did not work.

That you could only get a beach towel at certain times. I can’t remember fully but I think it was 8 in the evening. The hotel should offer an open policy of dropping and / Or collecting new towels all day.

We ware last year for 1 night, and we decide so stay this year for longer based on the view, extremely friendly Rui and the spa/ wellness as we used the treatment last year and this year. We also have to mention the guy in the shop, Saquib, Heider and receptionist that great us at the start. Rui is a star and legend , but all staff is extremely friendly. Thank you

We used only breakfast and we are more than happy with it, however for any other meal we went out as quality and price is not something we liked. Burger or pizza even in pool bar we can have any ware. It's probably only a personal choice but we love to explore local cousin.

Loved the breakfast. The ingredients - bread, cheese, vegetables were excellent. Pan cakes were ok. Its open till 11 - which is great. Coffee is excellent. There are two pool and lots of beach chairs to sit around. the view from there is excellent. The place was full but nothing was crowded. I loved the place , the gym is good, I did yoga on the grass and swam a lot in the indoor pool. The sea was too cold to swim in April, but that did not stop us from enjoying the place. There is a kitchenette in the room, buy water, drinks etc from mini mart which is close by. We rented a car as we were 5 and it was working out cheaper than taxi to come here, There is no parking in the hotel but at this time, It was not hard to find parking on the street.

It is not very clear which rooms are sea view and which are side sea view. We payed extra for sea view, but our rooms looked like the side sea view property pictures on booking.com. The reception convinced us that those were the sea view but we are not so sure. The room still had a good view. Just book the side sea view for less cost , dont bother booking sea view. some people complained about the beds. I think the quality of beds were a very big issue for some people.

Great location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, wonderful beaches close by and close to Benagil caves. We took Ubers to nearby towns as day/night trips - Silves & Albufeira.

The hotel didn't inform of us of the additional beaches that were close by and how to get to them. As well they have certain tours that they sell through the hotel - it would be nice if they also informed us of other options such as kayaking through Benagil caves that we could then book on our own.

Loved the breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly and good humoured. I was there for my nieces wedding. The wedding planner was terrible. None of us knew what was going on. No one received an advance outline itinerary even. The family group dudnt knew where to congregate and wait before hand. The wedding was at 3.30. She, the wedding planner, didnt even check in with the bride and her bridemaids until 3.15. My brother, the brides father was supposed to be walking the bride down the aisle, the wedding planner had to be told to go and get him, as she had overlooked this too. The music system hadnt even been pre tested and then all was delayed further as they couldn't get to it work. So she had no music to walk down the aisle to. The microphone was sending feedback so had to be discarded, so no one could hear what was being said through the ceremony. The location was lovely.

The mattresses need to be renewed Much too hard. A hotels core product is a bed. They have to be much better.

Property needs bit to renovate them rooms as matresses was sooo old and uncomfortable, but there was very clean and everything we expected so well done to all staff members as they are so friendly and professional!! The view from the balcony and outside area is amazing one of the best l stayed in .. if you didn’t order any food in the hotel there no any shops around so need a car to go to nearest shops around 15 min ..

Beds was uncomfortable

The location was nice, the view was beautiful. The food was really good. The view from the balcony was nice. We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice not worrying about where or what to eat while on vacay, breakfast and dinner were at the hotel.

It would have been nice if water would have been free at dinner time as well (it was provided for free at breakfast), also the time that you could get fresh towels was rather inconvenient Could get new pool towels between 2pm-6pm. Most people are out exploring our going on tours between those time.

One staff member brought gluten-free bread to my son and daughter every day and we only had to ask on our first morning. They have severe Celiac disease, so this was highly appreciated. The hotel and grounds were clean, but looking somewhat like an old resort. The air conditioning was good and the beds soft and comfortable (European beds are usually too firm). Helpful front desk staff. Location on the cliff is very good. Short walk to a beach (but it was full of seaweed that was very smelly). A great surprise was that there was a tunnel through the cliff from the smelly beach to a much larger, cleaner, and non-smelly beach - so cool. We loved that. It was a short (15 minute drive) to some of the best cliffs (near Marinha Beach), and a 20 minute drive to a small resort town called Carvoeiro which my family loved. Up on the east side of the cliffs is a boardwalk with a couple of areas where you can climb out on the rocks (which have been carved into steps, tunnels, and pathways. My family loved this.

Parking was competitive, but we always found a spot up the street. Could use more flowers, urns, or interesting features in back yard. A little more detail would surely improve the plain features of the hotel and grounds.

The hotel meets all needs! Very nice, big hotel with convenient rooms, big pool with area for children, few clean and beautiful beaches are nearby. Excellent Wi-Fi. Comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchenette in the room with microwave. Wide bathroom with bidet and also a very nice balcony. We had the room with partly sea view and it was really perfect. There is also a clean small gym with the main equipment and sauna with jacuzzi and indoor-pool. Near the hotel there is a local restaurant, where the food is really perfect. Also the dinners in the hotel are good. But! Most important is the personnel. My real thanks to Morgana and Luisa and other staff. The approach is really personal, not formal. Thank you all! So really highly recommended!

The breakfast was the same all the time. Coffee is not really good in buffet. Bar near the pool is with the high prices, but with poor offer and quality. Still all mentioned points are not spoiling the hotel.

Amazing view from balcony, from garden. Good for evening walks with baby. Best beaches with short walking distance. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Swimming pools in/out. Amazing sun for sunbathing (don’t forget SPF cream). This is so popular place for weddings as well. Even 2 during weekend. One was celebrated in the hotel, other one near by.
