We loved our stay at the resort! With that said, it is beautifully located at the sea and the views are stunning. Our suite had a great sea view and the comforts of a 5-star hotel. The daily lunch and dinner at the restaurant were good, not great. The staff was very friendly and service-minded and I felt appreciated as a guest. The entertainment for children was limited to a playground, which we thought could have been better. Overall, a very nice stay at this luxury resort and we would love to come back.

We experienced that the staff of the restaurant was trying to live up to a 5-star experience, but they did not deliver. Everyday mistakes were made in orders (no exceptions), a long wait from seating at the table before you got served, no pro-active servicing of guests - for every order we had to request staff to come both at lunch and dinner (we expect more), and overall low energy of the staff, with one or two exceptions. It is in this detail of putting the customer first, that a great experience is born. Room for improvement. This feedback does NOT apply to all other staff - cleaning, and reception.

We stayed at Suites Alba for 3 nights, as we were there for a wedding. The location and atmosphere were ideal and the overall experience during our stay was very positive. Service and attention to details during the wedding and reception was excellent. Perfect for a wedding location. Overall, it is a beautiful location, remote but stunning surroundings. Car would be needed if holidaying there. Quality and spec of the premium rooms was very good, recently upgraded to a very high standard, if slightly compact. Staff were generally very friendly and welcoming and housekeeping service was very good.

As many of the young staff were very inexperienced, the service in the restaurant and bar was hit and miss. Communication was also a contributing factor in most cases. There was an absence of any senior staff members around to deal with issues as they arose, which is a pity as it meant that small issues which could have been easily resolved were left unsettled, which was disappointing. I should point out that this was not the case for the wedding itself...service and staff were excellent for this event, which was managed by a wedding planner.

The location was 10/10, absolutely stunning. You could walk along the cliff trails to meet up with the seven hanging valleys trail that winds around to carvoeiro. The pools were lovely, the downstairs pool was a favourite for the kids to be able to play. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Blockout blinds and air conditioning. Definitely need a car to stay here which ended up being a positive as it meant we could explore nearby towns and beaches. The breakfast was incredible and the staff were very friendly.

The local beach was not possible to swim with children due to the seaweed covering the beach and water. Poolside service would have been a bonus.

As we were on our honeymoon, they offered us 2 glasses of house wine in our stay, which was fine. When we came to check out, they were still on the bill. We asked about this and showed the staff and she was quite rude saying that we were meant to get house sparkling wine with dinner as a complimentary drink (they are all the same price at 4 euros a glass). She agreed to take off the charges reluctantly but it did taint the experience at the end. The housekeeping team also left our cups outside our room for 24 hours.we ended up taking them back to the kitchen ourselves.

second time back here. love it so much, best location for the algarve access

each time we went the restaurant was distinctly average. we had to argue with restaurants staff for some more butter, which is ridiculous considering we were spending over 100€ to eat there. the pasta we had was undercooked packet pasta with barely any sauce. as this is the only place to eat at the hotel and within 15 mins drive, this restaurant should be up to scratch. the breakfast is great, unsure why the dinner can’t be great as well.

This property is gorgeous and overlooks the ocean in the most gorgeous way. There is onsite pools with vistas, and a path to a gorgeous and clean public beach. This is a GREAT place for families & kids. The breakfast is A+. The service at the front desk is great, especially Wilson. He was so helpful and professional. Other pros: great AC, spacious well equipped suites, gorgeous grounds, generally sweet staff. Black out shades, clean linens and towel service was great. Onsite playground is lovely too!

There were hiccups in room service that became quite the inconvenience. In my opinion they aren’t set-up to properly run room service (no pick-up unless you call, wrong items in order and double charges), so just head to the restaurant to skip the headache altogether. Also, the older villas need updating and are quite old. Ours while clean initially, developed a yucky ant presence by day 2 despite our efforts to not leave food or crumbs exposed. Beds needed updating as well in older villas and are hard/ dated. I would have gladly paid to upgrade if a newer villa was available.

Loved the location and the serenity of the property. The little beach and cafe was nice and close by, and loved the cliff top walk around to beautiful Marinah Beach was stunning & 18 minute Uber to Carvoeiro town / beach easy to navigate . The highlight was the morning Kayak trip with Andre from benagilkayaking.com to visit Benagil caves- meeting point is just out front of hotel at the beach they are very professional and all new equipment. Paula from the day spa massage & facial was AMAZING!! & Benaldo by the pool was just so lovely. All staff were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay & wished it could have been longer. Thank you 🙏🏼

The ACCOMM was outdated, however it appears they are all being re furbished and we hardly spent any time there except to sleep and the beds & Aircon was great.

Great location next to a beautiful beach. We liked the salt water pool, comfortable accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff.

The food at the restaurant was over-priced. As there were no other restaurants by walking distance it feels like they charge very high prices as there is no competition. Food is very average for the price. You can spend £100 per meal for 2 people and still feel hungry.. I suggest renting a car or taxi and eat elsewhere. Water is the highest price I have seen too - £4 per bottle. We took an Uber to nearest village and bought 6 bottles of 1.5l for £4.

1) Excellent location right next to the beach and coastline cliffs. Nice and a bit remote place without crowds. 2) The staff was very helpful. 3) Both pools were very good. 4) The 2 bedroom apartment was pretty big and had everything we need.

1) The whole resort needs a bit of renovation, that's for sure. Rooms are a bit worn off and furniture definitely should be changed. 2) Breakfast was very average and not the best quality.

everything was amazing, friendly staff, location stunning. distance walking to the best places in Algarve. amazing breakfast nice swimming pool many facilities. but we didn’t like our bed, mattress was terrible. and room was really outdated.
