This was one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. The grounds and architecture are stunning- you feel like you are staying at a Sultan's palace. The rooms have a nice balcony area and we were able to get 3 rooms next to each for our whole family at a reasonable price. The rooms themselves are pretty simple particularly the bathroom, but each is air conditioned and comfortable. The owners were lovely, kind, and very helpful and made our stay even better. Our only complaint was that the coffee from the espresso machine was not very good, but this was made up for by the warm hearted staff and the beautiful surroundings. Also we were within 15 -45 minutes from incredible town and gorgeous beaches. I could move here forever...

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a lovely pool within the olive trees. It was peaceful and quiet and perfect for a relaxing solo trip. Breakfast was a pre-prepared selection that was really enjoyable and all staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Felt like a luxury break without the luxury price tag. I'll definitely be coming back. Also recommend the local beauty salon for a facial. A blissful hour!

Evening food in the immediate area is limited and fairly average. Although it's only €5~ in a cab to the coast where there's more choice (although very touristy).

We were looking for a quiet hotel for our babymoon and found this stunning place, which is ideal for couples. The main house including breakfast area and bar, an old olive mill which is now a yoga studio and the building with the rooms are all on expansive grounds within an olive grove, giving the place a magical and private feeling. Phenomenally friendly and hospitable staff. The interiors - having been described as „morbid“ by some - are indeed special, they match very well and it made the whole stay feel like we are really somewhere remote and different to home, which we very much enjoyed. The rooms are clean, large and airy (high ceilings) with large comfortable beds and a lovely terrace/balcony. The breakfast selection was amazing and plentiful: fresh fruit, rolls, pancake, croissants and pastries, a selection of granolas, spreads, cheese and ham as well as yogurt. The pool area is also lovely with plenty of lounge chairs and an infinity pool divided into two areas - the ideal place to cool down after a hot day at the Algarve coast.

The breakfast was excellent. Loved the way it was presented. Our room waa so different to the usual purpose-built hotels, a Moorish theme. Julie on reception was so helpful, whatever you asked. And a life-saver when I forgot my phone charger! Being r8ght on the EN125 (although you couldn't hear the traffic) made it so easy to head off to various places.

A little bar in the evening, even with just the basics, would be nice. Realise, because of the type of establishment it was, that it may not be possible. Not a 'dislike', just a comment.

I had a nice stay here! The location is awesome—super green and peaceful, yet just a 10-minute drive to the city center. Aldi (supermarket) is right across the street, which was super convenient. The room and pool were both really clean. Even with other guests around, it felt private and quiet. Perfect spot to relax!

I enjoyed my stay, but I think the breakfast could be improved. The quality of the products could be better, and I would have preferred a buffet setup. It would give guests more freedom to choose what they like according to their taste.

We didn’t want a beach location so this fit our needs. The local beach scene was very unappealing so we were happy. The reception staff was excellent and the breakfast adequate. The pool looked fine but we didn’t use it.

The property is very spacious but very bizarre as is the architecture and design. Nothing fits with anything but that wasn’t important for comfort. Hardscape downright weird with a mix of every material you can imagine. But again, a matter of taste not comfort.

The vibe. The place is like a heritage one. The stay was very comfortable. The owners are lovely, friendly and the whole stay was very smooth. The place is very calm and peaceful. Good breakfast was served. It is not a hotel with full services and facilities, but just perfect if you are there to relax and to tour the area of Lagos, Albufeira, Faro. We rented a car, and it was very convenient to tour and parking was perfect and easily accessible.

Nothing that we recall. I hope they can have more income to be able to maintain this big facility. It is a big estate that needs maintenance. Hopefully they grow through the upcoming years

Large, light, confortable room, beautiful balcony with views to the olives's garden. Amazing and special pool, very relaxing, as it was just into the impressive Mediterranean garden. Alcantarilha little town was really charming with two super little restaurants

The amenities of the bathroom could have been better, for the prize of the room, and the bath was a bit old. Nevertheless, everything was working really fine, although it was not the most updated bathroom

This hotel is worth a stay. And a long one, too. It is an oasis of peace, beautifully managed by the manager Julie. She helped us in every possible way, is attentive to every detail and devotes herself to each guest with elegance and care. The breakfast is rich and the food is of impeccable quality. As experienced travellers, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

There are only single beds put together, no double beds.

It is a true oasis of peace and calm, exactly what we needed! Also Julie who greeted us was very kind and helpful with everything. The room was big and comfortable. The pool area is nice. Everything is very tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed everything!

If I have to name something, I would say that the rooms are not that well isolated soundwise, so I could hear the cleaning lady in the other rooms in the morning and couldn't sleep longer because of that. It was not a problem for me this time, but I think if I was tired, that could be a bit annoying.
