Excellent hotel. Very good breakfast, parking is easy (in winter), rooms have all you need, staff is helpfull and friendly and there is a heated ourdoor swimming pool.

It was rainy in this period, but on sunny days you'd like to enjoy the poolside. The pool got closed due to maintanance. It wasn't clearly announced. It should have been - already long before they started work - on the website of the hotel. The pool is something guests pay extra for. Now there was some confusion. And one staffmember got a bit unfriendly when she sent away a hotelguest from the pool. She even tried (not succeeded) to intimidate, saying: 'What is your room number?' Very strange. It was unnecessary unfriendly. A pity, too, because in general staff is very nice.

I liked everything about the hotel

Fantastic location, overlooking a beautiful beach. The staff, and the Portugese people in general, were absolutely wonderful. Our room was very spacious (non-sea view room), quiet and comfortable. We got lucky with the weather (28°C in late April!), with the beaches being very sparsely populated at this time of year, we felt like royalty. Would definitely recommend this hotel, just be aware that if you are bringing young children the pool is very deep (3.5m), but if it's just a beach holiday you are looking for you can't go wrong here.

Could not get around the pool. Each morning towels were put out and if you didn't get up early there was no chance of a sun bed !!

Fabulous location with great helpful staff. Amazing size of room that we had as we had an executive suite with a balcony over looking the sea. The views when sitting at the pool over looking the beach. A large number of sun loungers so there was always spare ones no matter what time of the day you visit.

The bar lacks atmosphere and the restaurant menu was limited especially for those with allergies.

The location was excellent and our room was fantastic with a small terrace and a sea view. The staff were all really helpful from the moment we arrived. we booked B&B and the breakfasts were fabulous. We ate at the Palm Beach (attached to the hotel) and that was amazing! The pool was really clean and was located overlooking the beach and the hotel enjoyed private beach access which was secured, so another excellent feature. All in all it was a fantastic hotel and I would highly recommend it!

We were there for four nights and the room was only cleaned and fresh towels put out on our first night. The room was not cleaned again whilst we were there (except by us obs lol) it did not particularly bother us, we were just surprised!

Excellent location, 45 mins from airport, close to restaurants and the old town and right on the beach. Great hotel facilities, pool, sun terraces & gym. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. Bar snacks were excellent. The associated restaurants were excellent. Palm Beach is en par with any high quality London restaurant.

Breakfast buffet was very good but real bacon would have been better than reconstituted ham.

Perfect location, beautiful view, very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing place it is only few steps from the beach. Listening the ocean from the room is just pretty cool. The swimming pool is also excellent.

The housekeeping didn't do service in my room until late afternoon. Had to make request at the reception. The breakfast is a bit overpriced and not much choice for selection of fresh fruits, pastries and cakes.

This hotel is right on the beach, one of the only ones in town that is. There is a picture in the lobby when they built the hotel in the 1960's and nothing but the hotel was there. Compared to Holiday Inns in the US this one has an on site restaurant. Its a buffet and average food but is all you can eat and they always refresh dishes so worth trying if you stay multiple nights. Our room was large, almost a suite but good size.

I wish they could have provided a microwave somewhere on the premises, the water refill station by the gym was nice to refill water bottles and cut down on plastic.

prefect location. the hotel located on the hill directly on the beach and begging of the walking street. our room upgraded to swimming pool access room. free secured car park. every things we need it within walking distance. beautiful 3.5 depth swimming pool. kind staff. fast wifi. clean and comfortable. daily house keeping. big room size. extended late check out. the indian restaurant in the hotel was very good.
