The hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We had a view of the Ocean which was amazing to wake up to. The location was great, very central to many sites, very close to many restaurants. We loved that there was a boardwalk right on the ocean that we could walk every night. The breakfast each morning was good. Air conditioning worked really well.

The only thing that was tricky was the humidity from the ocean, but that was not the hotels fault. Air conditioning helped to remove some of the moisture.

Friendly staff. Place with good price-performance. Decent & clean rooms. Parking lot in the backyard was useful and each evening space was available.

On my checkout day I left very early. Staff was considerate and provided me with a breakfast the evening before (yoghurt, butter was not placed in the fridge). Even a water kettle was included: however anything I could brew (coffee or tea) was missing. Nice thought anyway. Room on the first floor (corner of the building) was a bit loud at night.

The staff were exceptional. They were warm, kind, accommodating, and efficient. The room was extremely comfortable. We had requested a double bed, which wasn't available, so we had two singles pushed together. You honestly couldn't tell, it was great and a very comfortable bed. The shower was great. The hotel itself is beautiful. The breakfast was also very good.

It was difficult to dry clothes that got wet in rain, and bathing suits. Given the climate, it might be good to have a small folding drying rack in the rooms.

Nice friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds and very clean rooms/hotel overall. Good breakfast. Nice view with fresh air, could see the water from our 3rd floor rooms. Walkway just beyond the hotel as well as entry to the water. Beach towels were provided for a trip to the hot spring pool. Nice little bar area for coffee, water or a drink. Private, free parking. Great value for the money!

Good location, while not on the sea it is close to the sea and has good parking. The hotel is very cute and nice, the staff are excellent. Breakfast was really good. When you have a car, it is a good choice of location as an alternative to Ponta Delgada which can be difficult to navigate in a car and gets booked up quickly.

The shower wasn't the greatest and the water didn't get very hot. But not a dealbreaker at all.

Great location, not too far from Ponta Delgada, but quieter and easy access with a car to many other locations. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our flight arrived very early in the morning. When we arrived, the staff let us check our bags with them as our room wasn’t ready yet, use the bathrooms to freshen up, and gave us excellent suggestions for the day and our time. The breakfast was delicious and simple- just perfect. We loved walking on the boardwalk by the ocean. clean and comfortable room.

Really nice people work in the hotel. There are free towels for the hot springs which is great. The room was not big but clean. On the top floor we had two small balconies and an ocean view. We stayed there for 4 nights and the breakfast was not varied but good.

I don't remember exactly the room number, probably it was room 26 and there was a bad wifi signal, in general it was available only near the door. Also that room is located under the roof, and in the morning there were a lot of birds which were a bit noisy.

Location was super, no crowds, parking in the courtyard. Polite staff, always clean, reaonable breakfast. Good price level. Quiet in general.

Well- breakfast eas okay, but no chages in 8 days...and the small sausages were just terrible. This is not sabout the hotel: the naise level of stormy sea was really awakening.

Very friendly staff, superb value for money. Good location in the centre of the island with great access to the main road in most directions.

Ocassional issues with water pressure in the shower and the room was kind of hard to ventilate (as the aircon was mostly set to heating at this time of the year, it kept the room quite moist). Nothing too bad though.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided us with iron, wine glasses and bottle opener which was very appreciated. We also got recommendation for nice local restaurant we enjoyed. Rooms were nice and clean, with nice window views towards ocean.

The only small annoyance was the shower - it didn't have a door to close yourself in the shower so the water sprinkled on all around the floor of the bathroom. We had to clean the water with the towels.
