Location fantastic. Lido and sea access. Bus stop and supermarket at top of the road. Breakfast very enjoyable with lots of choice. Would recommend the La Cabonara restaurant in the resort for food.

I had booked a sea view room with balcony. However on arrival we were allocated a room at ground floor level, with a terrace overlooking the pool. We queried this and were told the hotel was full but that we could swap to a different room on our third night. This room did have a balcony but with a side sea view and was much smaller. We accepted the swap but were very dissapointed we didn't get what we paid for. Pool bar closed.

My fourth visit. Stunning facilities. Perfect location for quiet and calm, yet quick bus journey into Funchal.

The location of the hotel is excellent. A quiet area with ample shops and restaurants to choose from. The views from our room were beautiful especially as the sun came up! The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The choice at breakfast was varied and plentiful. Having breakfast outside in the mornings was a treat. The warm blankets on the seats were welcomed especially in the cooler evenings. The pool area and sauna were magnificient. Everywhere was kept exceptionally clean. The staff were warm and very helpful. Thankfully we were accomodated for a late dinner on christmas eve as we hadn't booked in advance. Delicious fish!

The mosquitos 😒 . It would help if a mosiquito screen including a plug in was included. The single beds, a notice in the welcome pack that a double mattress can be requested would have made the week more comfortable. A clearer explanation on how to regulate the air conditioning. We found it exceptionally warm and when I enquired I was informed the temperature is kept the same throughout the hotel. We managed to get cool air but that was difficult to regulate.

Some of the staff at the reception were super lovely and made all wishes possible. It was extremely quiet and with this super peaceful. From the balcony of the room I was able to see the sunrise as well as sunset and it was magical. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean and spacious. Good restaurants and supermarkets are all in walking distance.

Unrelated to the hotel but the neighbors smoking and listening to an audiobook without headphones on the balcony next to me were annoying. As to the hotel, maybe some of the staff in the restaurant could have been a bit more friendly at breakfast but that didn't ruin the trip.

Very modern hotel. Lovely pool area. Nice location, good views, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Poor value for money. This was one of four hotels we stayed in, in Madeira and was the worst value for money. Very little facilities in the room, no nice toileteries etc ( except shower gel dispenser). There is water and wine and a stocked minibar in the room but these are charged for if you use them. This is usual for a minibar but for the high price of the room a complimentary bottle of water would be appreciated.

Everything from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel was amazing. The blonde receptionist ('I'm sorry I can't remember her name for the life of me), she was welcoming, kind and just amazing. She went above and beyond to help and even packed us breakfast as we were flying out early and left it in the room without us asking for it. She also organised a nice bday surprise for me without me asking (she saw on my ID that the dates we were staying on was my bday) We felt very welcomed, the room had amazing views to the pool and sea, the pool it's a salt water pool and the sauna / spa facilities were amazing. Special mention to one of the chefs at the breakfast buffet - She was so kind and lovely every time we went down for breakfast! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We will definitely go back and I sure as hell recommend this place to all of my friends / family and anyone reading this.

Nothing everything was amazing.

We loved everything about it! We had a sea view - could watch both sunsets and sunrises from the balcony. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, with fresh and imaginative decor. The website photos are accurate. The engineering that has gone into the site is amazing, taking advantage of every bit of the cliff face. I particularly like the eco credentials. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The range and quality of food for breakfast was excellent, and we ate in Atlantis almost every evening because we enjoyed the food so much, and the proximity to the sea. Although it was January, the unheated outdoor pools were warm enough for swimming. The location is good, not far from the main road, and quite close to the airport and to Funchal. Highly recommend!

The hotel doesn't have its own car park but we didn't really have any problem finding somewhere nearby on the street.

Stunning property with great facilities. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony to sit on, even though we booked a room with a garden view we still had sea views. The spa facilities were also amazing and there are two pools, one with access to the sea and another that was a bit more private, they also offer scuba activities at the hotel. There was a good variety at breakfast and the restaurant in the hotel serves very nice evening meals, however if you want something a bit cheaper there is a buffet in the other sentido hotel just a short walk up the road, there are also some lovely restaurants nearby. We didn’t fly back till 8pm at night but the hotel had a luggage room you can use free of charge and you’re still welcome to use the facilities up until your departure even after check out which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

It is about a 25 minute journey into Funchal but there is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel which takes your directly into Funchal so it’s not really a problem

A simple dream a dream throughout our stay I hummed the song Heaven I'm in Heaven by Frank Sinatra and the truth is that the hotel is heaven a dream location on a cliff in front of the quiet sea for adults only there is a professional sauna equipped to perfection excellent and professional service starting from the reception staff the waiters the chef the room attendants and the cleaning staff very We enjoyed ourselves, we will definitely come back on our next vacation I would like to thank the entire staff of the hotel for an amazing vacation, thank you very much 👏

Amazing location, loved the pool and the access to the sea, and the restaurant and bar over looking the sea. Food was all really good. Most of the staff were lovely, especially in Atlantis restaurant and the bar.

TV did not work, even after technician looked at it. Could not get a massage appointment in the whole 5 days I was there as they were fully booked - the hotel could have emailed in advance to say that they were busy and you’d need to book before arrival. The woman on the desk at the spa was unhelpful and surly.
