The staff here are exceptional. There is a young gentleman with curly long hair in ponytail that works during the day that deserves a raise/promotion. He went out of his way to help us and was beyond fantastic. The evening, older gentleman is full of life and will make tons of jokes. The place itself exceeded our expectations. Small courtyard that felt like an oasis and respite about from the city. The bathrooms were always kept so clean. I can go on and on but the workers really make the place special and take care of it well. The design and layout are well thought out. Robes, towels and slippers provided.

The owner of the place who is rarely there, I think suffers from mental health issues. She verbally assaulted my friend over a coffee and the price of it. I don't believe she is there often but if you encounter her, just ignore her and enjoy your stay. The bedroom with 2 separate beds could use more hooks on another side for friends traveling together. It was provided but only on one side and it was not enough.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff.

We were sleeping next to the reception, meaning there was an extremely loud doorbell that kept ringing 24/7 and jump-scared us out of our sleep during the night.

The night manager, Carlos, was ABSOLUTELY amazing. He took such good care of us. The room was bigger than expected and everything was very comfortable, even providing us with robes to make us feel comfortable with going to and from the bathroom. There are several bathrooms for each floor, so I never had an issue where I needed to use one and it wasn't available. The bathrooms were very clean and everything was well thought out. They had more amenities than we even realized, like the ability to make us coffee in the morning. We really loved our stay.

We didn't get housekeeping service in our room the whole time we were there, so no clean sheets (which wasn't a huge deal, but would have been nice to have them changed once), and dishes started stacking up a bit.

This property was a little gem in a great area that was easily accessible by bus in either direction to different parts of the city. The staff were lovely and the garden terrace was a real bonus. The rooms were well appointed and tastefully decorated with personal touches throughout the property that made a real impact to the welcome feeling. Despite my reservations about shared bathrooms I couldn't fault the cleanliness and availability of the bathrooms.

My only issue was that the wifi was only restricted to certain areas which meant that it was not available in the room or even on the garden terrace. As I didn't have roaming or a sim I was relying on wifi.

This is the best hotel I lived during my 15-days travel. Of course, you cannot compare it with other expensive hotels, but considering it’s price, it is really good: quite, comfortable bed items and clean room. What impressed me most is the elder manager during the night. He is very enthusiastic, warm, helpful and patient. I just randomly asked him whether there were taxis in the early morning, he remembered my leaving time and reminded me get up in the morning. I was so impressed actually, I didn’t ask him to do this, but he always thought about our customers. I appreciated him sincerely when I left. It made me feel very warm in such a busy morning.

Guest House is nicely decorated. Kitchen makes you feel at home, bathroom is clean. Room had all I needed and was clean. Bed is comfortable. Guys at the reception are relaxed and cleaning lady was helpful. This place is worth staying in, it has its charm.

TV was not in a mood to start, just like I wasn't in a mood to walk back to the location. Now, TV is a problem while location isn't. It is located relatively close to both, metro station and main square. But, if you walked half a day on "Portuguese" sun, through hilly Lisboa, you will have to go uphill to the Guest House. Such is Lisboa, I guess.

This is a very lovely property with so much to enjoy. There's a big shared space on each floor and the shared bathrooms are big and well-equipped. The two hosts I met were very friendly and helpful (especially the older one). My single room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler, and it had all the necessities and more.

There was no water in the morning when I was supposed to check out so I couldn't take a shower before leaving. This is not the owner's fault obviously, but it can happen, hopefully not frequently.

Location! bus out front and metro 12 min walk away! Cafes and restaurants nearby. You can use the washing machine in the kitchen and hang out clothes to dry! Bathrooms are clean and spacious with bath mats always provided, robes provided for each guest and the place is constantly being cleaned by lovely staff! Kitchen is great and wifi is strong. Beds comfortable :) SUCH FRIENDLY STAFF

My only issue is the door locks are old key style so it’s noisy when someone enters the rooms and locks it unlocks doors - so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The water also stopped working at one stage and for a few hours we couldn’t shower or use the toilet properly. Some small additions would make this place just phenomenal- adding hooks to back of doors or somewhere to hang bath towels after showering. Ceiling fans, some more coffee tables on the seated common areas, Bowls in the kitchen- lots of plates and glasses but no bowls to have cereal :) Other than this is a delight with a big kitchen and lovely common areas to chill and I recommend highly

We loved the location - walked to everywhere. The rooftop garden was lovely to relax in when taking a break. The room was a little small but comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and functional. The staff, especially Carlos was so kind and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was some of the BEST food we’ve ever had.

- noise from restaurant below until late (but that was part of the experience) - wrong coffee pods for the coffee machine (but you could purchase an espresso from the reception) - air conditioning not very functional (but opening the windows let in a nice breeze)
