This is a lovely, comfortable, and modern hotel that's located just off Avenida da Liberdade, which Wikipedia describes as "the most expensive street to rent or buy property on in Portugal", quite obvious from the shops you see on the Boulevard close to the hotel. That said, it's a very short walk from some of the nicest and most charming neighborhoods in Lisbon: it's a couple of minutes from the neighborhood of Principe Real and the Botanical Gardens, and a 10-minute walk from Bairro Alto. I went for a morning run and was on the waterfront in just 10 minutes. My favorite nearby street was Rua Dom Pedro V, where you will find nice local shops (check Stro for some beautiful high quality linen) and great restaurants (try A Cevicheria, a wonderful Peruvian place that's totally worth the long wait for a table). Further down Rua Dom Pedro V, you will find the Miradoura (viewpoint) do Sao Pedro Alcantara, which offers panoramic views of the city. In short, this hotel gives you a central location that's also quiet and peaceful, away from the noise and crowds on the streets of Baixa (Lisbon's "downtown" for example., if you want to get a good night sleep. In terms of amenities, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom modern and very clean (with a bidet). I did find the room a little bit smaller than I expected, but it had a nice tiny balcony (that doesn't fit a chair but that is perfect for getting some direct sun when you wake up). The rooms have a Nespresso machine, but you have to ask for a hot water kettle if you want to make tea or other types of coffee. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality cheeses, cold cuts, fruits and veggies, and the possibility of ordering eggs the way you like them. I also quite liked that the hotel felt like a boutique hotel despite the fact that it's part of a chain.

First of all, our trip in Lisbon was marked by bad experiences with other hotels and the Vincci hotels actually saved our trip two times! We loved Vincci Liberdade because of its stylish design, perfect location - both in the city but quiet at the same time - but mostly - because of its staff! The staff of the hotel and the restaurant managed to arrange and prepare dinner for us at 1am! We were going to a concert and knew we would be back no earlier than 1 am. The restaurant agreed to cook us meals just before they close for the night, and the room service agreed to leave these meals in our room. That way, when we came back at around 1am, we had to meals waiting for us! By the way, the American Burger and the Caesar salad are amazing! I especially loved the Caesar salad because it is more chicken and less salad! :) We are also extremely thankful to Lucas from the bar he spent some time with us organising a small tasting of Portuguese gins and told us their stories. He also gave us some great tips about Lisbon! All the other staff members were always very welcoming and friendly! It is amazing for a city hotel to be full of so many incredible people!

The hotel is incredibly well located: it sits one block off Avenida da Liberdade - as posh as you can get - where all the top-notch, sophisticated shops and boutiques are. Staff was helpful and friendly; the room was large, quiet, clean and confortable. The bathroom was confortable and spotlessly clean. I didn't try the breakfast, priced at 16 euros: around the corner there is a branch of "A Padariua Portuguesa" ("The Portuguese Bakery") where two people can get a good continental breakfast for less than that. One last thing: don't miss a visit to the museum across the street: it is a jewel!

Vincci Liberdade was perfect. It is away from the hustle and bustle of being “right” downtown (which we prefer) but there is still plenty of cafes/restaurants/shops right outside their door. Within 20-30 min walk you are at the Praça do Commercio/waterfront which is beautiful. The breakfast is perfect with lots of choices but a small restaurant (which they mention when you check in) so earlier is better. We had a beautiful corner room with balconies - so perfect and plenty of room.

Absolutely nothing - it is lovely - love the Vincci properties and will definitely stay here again when we return.

The best aspect of staying at this hotel was extremely kind and helpful stuff and the location which is just around the corner from Av.Liberdada and 5 min.walk from subway. Room was big enough for two people and pretty big toilette which is a plus, there is a lot of space for cosmetics around sink but the hairdryer, lets say it is not a Dyson :P The room outfit is nice but pretty basic, the equipment could be definitely better as there was no kettle with tea set or iron, we got them upon a request.

After reading comments I expected fabulous breakfast however this is very basic I would say, half buffet & half served to a table. The coffee was awful but this is applicable for whole Lisbon unfortunately :-( In general it is a good hotel however surely the price is too high for the standard they offers.

the 7th floor suite was so large, cozy and so quiet. we loved hanging out there. 3 nights of our 5 we ordered room service from both your menus. the food was great and the servers were fine. the bartenders gave us ice for our room. Miguel helped us choose the 2 lines we would like on Hop on, Hop off. your location is great. this is our first Vinnci Property, but not our last.

we hardly needed 4 small balconies in 702. but we used one for dinner. we are both short people and I had to stand on a chair to see the beautiful surroundings. did you ever think to maybe take one deck wall and add a round window or make it all a view window? the jacuzzi is fabulous. the tub is slippery for us mid 70s people, and maybe you need a rubber mat for us.

Location was very good, a nice walk to metro but not far. Very nice employees and excellent housekeeping daily. Good breakfast with many options and eggs cooked to order.

The bath shower floor is very slippery and no shower bar to hold onto if you slip. Room was small but comfortable. We could have used a second luggage rack so I think the hotel should have extras available. Very limited space to store your clothes items, we just worked out of our suitcase but it was fine, we never un packed! They do have a closet to hang items.

The hotel was good, the bed comfortable, good room lighting, the staff excellent. Airport shuttle was a nice plus. It's away from the tourist areas on a quiet street, but only 2 or 3 metro stops away from the action and the trains run late. I enjoyed my stay.

The bar is located in a back patio. It's secluded and out of the wind, but you are outside. I was there in March, some other guests were there and we watched a football match, with a jacket on I was fine. The blackout curtains didn't quite overlap but 95% dark is really no problem, unless you're like me and like it pitch black for sleeping late.

The staff were very nice and welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and nicely presented, with plenty of space. Its in a good safe area, on a quiet street directly off the main road down from the Marquês de Pombal. I heard no outside noise. It’s only 5 minute walk up the street to the Marquês de Pombal Station. Takes exactly 15mins from hotel to walk down to Rossio station/Gloria Funicular, on the Avenida da Liberdade I did it every day, very pleasant walk in touristy area. As a solo female traveller I felt safe here.

The walls are a bit thinner than other hotels I’ve stayed at so you will hear some noise from neighbours when getting up in the morning but residents were generally quiet other hours.
