The staff were lovely and friendly, the rooms were clean.

I emailed in advance of our stay for a soft mattress or a mattress topper and soft pillows. At checkin they said that both rooms had them - in face NONE of the rooms had them. Asked at reception next morning for them and that evening they said that the one room had them ….. but that was not the case - rang reception at night at they sent up 2 soft pillows …. Asked her again and she brought up a duvet … so I doubled that up and got another duvet to make the mattress softer as I’ve a bad back !

Wardrobe tiny not enough drawers. had to ask for extra hangers only pods for coffee. had to ask for kettle which we feel should be standard equipment in room It would have helpful to have socket by bed to charge phone

Location. Comfortable bed. Clean. fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Great bathroom.

Having stayed in a hotel, now realise we prefer apartment style accommodation.

They surprised us with a bottle of wine and cake for our wedding anniversary. That was very smart and generous. The room was spacious and loved the radio with speakers in the ceiling. Great view of the main street in the city. Clean fresh towels every day and delicious breakfast each morning. Metro was no more than 200 metres from hotel and loved that the main buses were just at the main roundabout Marques de Pombal. Taxi stand was just outside the hotel. Grocery was no more than seven minutes walk from the hotel and great restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel.

Keep up the great work in maintaining the hotel.

We arrived on an early flight on the day of check in and were pleased to be able to get an early check in. The room was very nice, overlooked the main street with a balcony. Facilities in the room were good. WiFi was reliable. We had breakfast one morning in the hotel and there was a good selection of hot and cold food for the cost of €15 per person. Metro station and taxi rank located directly outside the hotel, and within walking distance to many attractions.

The check in process was slow, the link we were sent in advance to complete information did not work which may have made things quicker, but also when we were checking out there was a long queue and the overall check-in process was taking 15-20 minutes per guests.

The hotel is very well located for tours from Marques de Pombal and with easy access to taxis virtually outside. The city centre is 20 minutes walk in the other direction slightly downhill. The train station is about 15 mins walk away and the first No 28 tram stop is about 20 mins walk too. The hotel is located on a relatively flat road vs other roads in Lisbon. The room was comfortable and the hotel room door was sound proof. My husband enjoyed the fact that there was an inner "open" area for smoking and for reading for me, as well as other comfortable areas with arm chairs. We had pre-dinner drinks in the friendly bar. It would suit sole travellers including business travellers.

I would have preferred a bathroom that didn't have one glass wall with a blind.

- Our room was overlooking the avenue and noise was coming from the street. We had to resort to earplugs to be able to sleep - There should have been more power plugs in the room, preferably by the bed, so as to easily charge phones, tablets etc

Good location and very peacefull atmosphere in the hotel. Very friendly staff at reception and bar. Metro stop was right next to the hotel and short walk to many interesting places.

A bit dark interiors and room was quite tiny when we had two suitcases to be open. Lift was very slow (back part of the buikding), there was two of those but second one even not functioning at all.

We liked this hotel because it is in a central location of Lisbon. It is on the very popular avenue called Avenida de Liberdade that goes directly to the historical center of the city.

We were a little disappointed that the room was a bit small and there weren’t enough plugs to recharge our electronics. there was one in the bathroom, one over the desk and one in the entrance.
