firstly the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much or too much hassle. The room was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable and the facilities were perfect. The breakfast was lovely as was the pool and the bar on the roof, and the fact that the hotel is in such an accessible area, where there’s a corner shop 5 mins away, a McDonald’s that is a minutes walk from the hotel and the underground is right outside. After waiting 3 years for a holiday due to covid, we couldn’t have gone to a better place!

Excellent hotel in a beautiful part of the city. We travelled to Lisbon for my wife's birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special for her. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations. It's around a 10-15minute walk into the tourist spots, but the walk is very pleasant and seems to pass really quickly. The hotel is situated next to lots of high end designer shops and fancy restaurants and the area feels very safe. The rooms and facilities are amazing - everything is so clean and the rooms are a good size. Could not recommend PortoBay Marquês any more highly!

The only improvement i could suggest would be to have bar staff at the rooftop bar during summer months. The bar is currently set up as an 'honesty' bar, so you take what you want and then complete a form and stick it in a box which gets collected. When we went there the stock was running low and there wasn't much selection. However, i understand that it may not make sense to have dedicated staff here during the quieter months.

On arrival we had been upgraded as I had emailed previously to let them know we were celebrating my husband’s birthday present and out up coming anniversary. The room was really nice and the staff arrived with a bottle of fizz on ice, lovely surprise. The breakfast was good, I only ate the continental fresh fruit was lovely and fizz if you wanted it. The staff were very informative and provided a map and informative about Lisbon. The roof top pool area were a very welcome sight after returning from a hot day of sight seeing. It is a bit of a walk into the centre, not a problem for us but may be for some.

good location within walking distance of most places we wanted to visit. liked the option of the rooftop space to relax in the sun after a day of sight seeing.

had issues with our shower draining properly and also the temperature in the shower going from scolding hot to cot even though the temp dial hadn’t been adjusted. did report it to reception a couple of times and maintenance came up but didn’t seem to have solved the issue. maintenance person also left the wet dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom

Everything was brilliant. Nothing could have been better.

The staff was friendly and we got upgraded to a junior suite with lovely hardwood floors and a separate seating area. The communication with the hotel was great before our arrival. Hotel breakfast was tasty with good variety. Hotel bar was also nice. It took about 15 min to walk to the centre of the city. Nice rooftop terrace.

Our room was great but one of our friends stayed in a double and that did not look nice. Dirty looking carpets, view to the AC and felt like a total different hotel (that I wouldn’t have stayed in). I would keep this in mind. Also the gym consists of three machines, the picture is a bit misleading. We enjoyed our stay but just want to point these things out.

one of the best hotels we stayed in. very comfortable bed ( they even have 2 sizes of pillows to meet everyone needs!). we went to Lisbon for my partner birthday, we even received complimentary bottle of fizz (without asking) we came back to the room and there was card and bottle left for him, this never happened to us before! :) breakfast selection was good however eggs were cold no matter of time. rooftop pool is small but it was good to use for some relax, gym is small they could do with more space and equipment however it was better than nothing. thank you to the staff - you were all amazing xx

The staff were wonderful and helpful, the room was cozy and quiet! Our needs were met and often exceeded and the real shining stars that made our stay exceptional were the reception staff (Filipa and Joanna) who made us feel so welcomed and gave us great insight into the best locations to see and the most efficient ways to get there. Truly wonderful staff, highly recommend it!

Facilities were a bit small but as a couple we didn't mind. Perhaps a larger group or family may find the pool and sauna a bit small but honestly, my fiancee and I enjoyed how cozy everything felt for us. Housekeeping didn't update our toiletries or replace our dirty dishes with clean ones but they did a great job keeping the room clean and in a timely fashion. Overall, we didn't mind and had a great stay!

Perfect location in a not too touristy neighbourhood. We stayed in a lovely suite with balcony, which was a true pleasure given the nice weather in late autumn. Very nice and cooperative personnel that was there for us whenever we needed them. Thank you so much!

Would really have to look for it, but sound proofing from the street could be a bit better. Lisbon is a very noisy city, with aicraft flying low over the city center. Fortunately the hotel is located in a dead end road, limiting traffic noise.

My review is for the Porto Bay Liberdade as we have been transferred to this one Location and structure are great, all the staff is very nice and helpful, never over doing it. We have appreciated one dinner at the restaurant and also very nice sandwiches at the bar watching football at the bar. It is located in one of the nicest areas of the city, very safe and close to metro and train station. Basically you don't need a car to move around. It will surely be our choice if we ever come back in Lisbon.
