Rove City Centre in Port Saeed Dubai was our best choice. Great location (3 min from the metro station) and 10 min. from the airport. The hospitality of the hotel staff, cleanness, and variety of breakfast dishes – that was really impressive. Special thanks to our charming receptionists: Somayae and the other one whose name we’ve just forgotten. Their helpful tips regarding: attractions, comfortable traveling by public transport and flexibility in check-out time caused it to be an unforgettable week. Our staying was too short ;)

The hotel fully deserves four stars, not three. We saw (and felt), a lot of features of a four stars hotel. And we had two rooms for 9 nights so … 5 minutes walk to an important Metro Station (Deira City Centre) so you can reach the central attractions in 30-40 minutes. Very safe neighborhood, with nice shops and restaurants. Large and modern rooms. Good comfy beds and a small sofa. We had top floor rooms, quiet and with good panorama. They cleaned the room and changed towels every day. Free water, coffee, tea in the room. Free underground parking. Wonderful service, starting with the easy check-in, the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff. They help you with any problem with a smile on their faces. Special remarks for Elvis (front desk) and Rodica (restaurant). Good breakfast, with a large variety of food to choose from. In conclusion the price-quality ratio is good for Dubai and we highly recommend the hotel to all our friends.

Everything Was Better Than It Should Be. This Hotel Deserves 5 Stars. Breakfast Food and Staff are Excellent and Friendly. There is a Small Park Right Next to the Facility. Very Ideal for Evening Walking and Jogging. I liked it very much. When I come to Dubai again, I want to stay if the location suits it.

The gym is a little small but sufficient for short stays.

I rated the hotel a 9 last time. But I have to correct myself. This is a 3 star hotel - so in its category its a clear 10 to us. But more importantly: the staff is almost always trying to make the hotel guest feel comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely OK.; they have extras offered for free on menu, in addition to the good buffet selection. Again: the metro is 4 walking min. away, the Mall 5min. It may not be the city center, its just part of the urban Dubai conglomerate, which i.m.o. doesn't have a true city center. But due to its location this hotel is a relaxing spot in this ever growing hectic city. On a different subject: We took a taxi from Sharjah Airport (neighboring Emirate) to the hotel, the costs were close to 30$ - in regular traffic.

The people at the tour info across from the front desk are nice, but a little too eager trying to sell tours. Also, the water knob in the showers can be hard to turn. Maybe use a towel for the first 2-3 times using the shower.

loved the friendliness of the staff especially Samri and Elvis. The tour person Kalees, made everything so easy, he was always available to guide and direct us. The hotel is in a great location near the metro, and my favourite The Emerald Restaurant. It’s so clean and comfortable, pool is great, definitely want to stay here when I come back. thanks to all the staff for everything!

Room was comfy, spacious and kept tidy. All of the staff were helpful and great! Breakfast delicious with a kitchen order included. In addition, the hotel restaurant served good food also at lunch and dinner time. The location of the hotel is great, close to the airport, and 2min walk from Deira City Center metro station, from where e.g. Burj Khalifa is convenient to reach by metro. The Deira Mall next to has also a huge grocery store and a wide selection of restaurants. Still the area around the hotel is very calm. Complimentary airport shuttle and bus to the Al Mamzar beach were also very nice additions for our stay.

We stayed in one of the top floors, and at times the wifi didn't work there as well as downstairs. Also, a mosque is relatively close to the hotel, so for light sleepers this might be a minor inconvenience in the mornings.

The receptionist Hanan, and the other reception staff notably from Egypt were very friendly and welcoming, I am sure they have very bright future ahead, the room was very cozy and clean, the shower was exceptionally easy to use and nice, same can be said about the view over the small park behind the hotel

The room had a small broken frame for an electric outlet that needs replacing, the shower doors should be more firmly sealed to avoid too much water getting out, and the prices of items in the hotel's supermarket could be reduced especially with the city center Deira near by, but overall it was fantastic and nothing is major.

Good location, just round the corner from the metro. Lovely pool, breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff. The shop beside reception was particularly good, with sandwiches, fruit and all you need to take out for a snack. We often bought fresh croissants from the dining area plus fruit, milk, tea from the shop for a cheaper breakfast option. Pool area was particularly good.

We booked early and the price was pretty reasonable. But demand pricing meant that when we wanted to extend for a couple of days they were more than twice the nightly rate. Book early, and for all the nights you might need.

The location is fabulous, as walking distance to major shopping centre as well as bus and train stops (handy in mid 40 degree summer temperatures). Staff are very friendly and helpful (special shout out to the reception and housekeeping staff, who were super nice and accommodating). They have all the usual amenities, plus some (laundry facilities, downstairs chill out area) as well as providing sustainable features like refillable glass bottles of filtered water and bathroom products in large containers. Good sized bedroom and bathroom with comfortable bed and pillows. I look forward to staying there again, when next in Dubai.

Nothing

I loved the place from the get go, the moment we walked in was greeted cordially, rooms set for us were lovely and suited us nicely. Ahmed and Salma noted my birthday being in January and arranged a lovely surprise which was so sweet and thoughtful. The ease of which everything was conducted was also very comforting. The place is very eclectic and perfectly suited my family and I, the colors decor and all. It’s a nice and quiet place, perfect for both fun and work, from the great seating arrangement and desks, to the fun ping pong table and video games. Had one breakfast at the restaurant and was welcomed warmly and had a lovely interaction with Rodica. The place is perfect for short fun trips as well as work. Great for both adults and kids, fun colors and facilities. Simple and sustainable. This is my second experience with Rove, my first being in Rove Downtown, and I can’t wait to check out the rest in the future.

Though it wasn’t a particular shortcoming, the room was a bit small for three, if there was a plan to have three people in one room. (But I must acknowledge that the pull out bed is a perfect idea and a great use of space, perfect for room to room sleepover) And the AC automation system did have us come back to a slightly warmer room than we would have liked.
