The beds are a bit big so make the room small there is no toothbrush or toothpaste there is no room service a bit expensive

Breakfast buffet was awesome, with lots of options for different diets including GF and (nice) soy milk, and the staff hosting it were just lovely. Angelo especially - he always said hello to us and good morning to everyone. Check-in was fast and reception even printed out our tickets for the trip back. The room was spacious and modern and we had the option to decline housekeeping which is nice. The restaurant attached to the hotel (Sofia's lounge) was good too.

The coffee with the breakfast wasn't good.

Location is good, walking distance to the Royal mile. The rooms are fairly spacious for hotels of a similar price range. Staff are very friendly and very helpful indeed. There's 24hr assistance at the front desk, and we had no issues trying to get a taxi at 2 2:45am for our early flight.

Parking on-site - you only get access to it after check-in (understandably), so you do need to find nearby street parking before you can get this, we had to spin round a couple times before we figured this out as we were looking out for a hotel carpark. The daily breakfast is decent but not impressive.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Fantastic choice of food on offer at breakfast - the waffles looked amazing and seemed very popular.

Distance from our reason of visit but that was due to price of hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had to checkout very early hours of the morning. It's good that you can leave your luggages in their secure store room. The room looked like it's newly decorated (shame it's a bit small) but was nice, clean and very comfy beds. Overall, it's adequate if you're only staying a night.

The room was small for a family of 3. If you want a car parking space I would advise to get there early as it's first come first serve basis (£15 per day), plus wait until it's empty too (their customer still haven't checked out!)

Property is on mani st, no parking available on site….they charge extra £15 for per night parking…which are not told before. not good

New, clean and well maintained. The rooms were well equipped and a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower pretty good. Breakfast was good for a buffet style although selection of fruit and cereal a bit limited

Had real challenges with the billing. I had booked 3 twins for a group of 6 friends and the hotel insisted that all charges had to go on my card rather than be taken over by the other members of the group. They claimed the 'hold' on my card woul take 5 days to release so it was better if I allowed charges to be made and got my friends to pay me back. I could afford that but others couldn't

We stopped for the Bruce Springsteen gig at Murrayfield and the hotel location and facilities (NB: see comment below on parking) were great. We used the on-site restaurant next door to the hotel for dinner where the food and service were great, and the breakfast at the hotel in the morning was very good.

The hotel parking was full when we arrived, as was the main alternative, so we had to use the third choice car park. This was ok and it was convenient to the hotel but we were told when checking in that the hotel had a concession arrangement with that car park which the receptionist in the morning was adamant wasn't the case - it was only when we asked this to be checked again that the manager acknowledged the concession agreement was available. This all worked out fine but obviously the knowledge of the arrangements could have been better.

We loved the staff. Hotel is close to almost everything 10 to 15 mins walk to most of the places clean and cool area super close to the centre the staff was amazing they have waffles in the breakfast that you can make by yourself. Special thanks to miss shahina at the reception she was amazing she was super helpful and cheerful to everyone not only us and very diligent worker.

The only thing we did not like was breakfast options the boiled eggs were cold and they don't have fresh eggs or omlets for the breakfast. That we informed at the reception.

We were there for our honeymoon and it was nice to get a card , wine and snacks acknowledging our honeymoon. Breakfast was good and location was great . Staff was friendly and room was big and comfy . Unfortunately we had a medical emergency for one of our dogs and had to cut the honeymoon short and head back to Canada to see what we could do . The hotel was more than gracious to refund the final 2 nights even though they didn’t have to you . Will definitely look to stay here again when we get a chance in the future to finish our honeymoon
