We loved this great hotel in old souq area, like living in authentic qatari houses close to the beach, away from noises & traffic from downtown area. Pool was warm even in January, food was delicious on our half-board (2 restaurants), staff was beyond friendly (thank you Kay our daily spark of sunshine). Uber to downdown costs about 25 qar, some days we took also bus&metro combo (very fast, easy & almost free to use, after getting a metro card). There is a boardwalk next to hotel by the seaside lined with cute cafes and restaurants.

One of the finest we’ve been to. Service was superb! Soft spoken and helpful staffs. Kudos to Omar, Allan, Tamil & Pawil (front desk lady) Will definitely be back soon 💛

Amazing hotel with amazing staff😊

The AC didn’t have remote control so it was either too cold or when turned off it was too hot.

Lovely access to private beach. Wonderful breakfast. Very comfortable rooms.Nice environment with rustic feel and access to the hidden souk shops. Lovely evening walks along the beachfront at back of hotel. Very private. Staff always happy to escort on hotel buggies. Great friendlt and courteous staff in lobby, on gates,valets and around hotel.

If only we were told about the hidden gems of the souk shops.found them on day 4! Was a smell coming from the bathroom although wasn't too excessive. Location is a taxi journey to the centre but taxis alway available via Uber. Main disappointment was that rooms were not ready on arrival after arriving much later than check in time.

Excellent staff, very helpfull, friendly. We had incident, our daugther lost/left her mobilephone in taxi that drop us back to hotel. and the staff were very helpfull, they call and follow up the incident to taxi company. Many thanks to Alen, Desmon, Omar, Majid, Shehan for all helps and hospitality, not to forget the bellMen. My daughter was so happy to get her mobilephone back, she is not happy to leave the hotel she said :) We stayed in South side of Hotel, wish they have pool here as well, but the golf car ride make it easier to transfer between hotels, and the kids enjoy the ride. we enjoyed our stay in the hotel: helpfull staff, Nice breakfast, clean pool, clean room, stylish hotel, nice beach view from the restaurant, nice massage (Mami is best therapist). Had great time using the pool, the ladies at pool bar were friendly and did good service. Best hotel to stay, will definitely comeback here next time we are in doha.

Great Hospitality

Rooms were small, since it is a traditional structure

Room, breakfast and room were all good.

That there was a north and south. We had our room in the north, then it was given to someone else and ended getting a room in the south. No one told us, that there is a parking area in the south part. So, we came every day to the north part of the hotel and have to take a transfer to the south. On the checkout day, i requested a transfer at 05:45 the night before, then i called on checkout day at 05:47 because no one came, they told me they will send someone. He arrived at 06:18.

During my stay at this amazing hotel, I was captivated by its remarkable ambiance that seamlessly integrated with the rich tapestry of culture and heritage surrounding it. The establishment exuded a distinct charm, making me feel not just like a guest but a cherished participant in the local heritage. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner resonated with a sense of pride in preserving its historical essence. The staff were not only efficient but also exceptionally friendly, creating an atmosphere of warmth that added to the overall delightful experience. It was more than a place to stay; it was a journey into the heart of tradition and hospitality.

While some may appreciate the plushness of the hotel bed, I personally found it exceptionally soft to the point where my body sank in, making it challenging for me to achieve a restful sleep. However, I understand that preferences vary, and others may enjoy the luxurious softness provided by the bedding.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 5 in two rooms. I requested for one of our rooms to be disabled friendly which the hotel kindly catered to. The hotel is split between two wings and due to the disabled room we weren’t in the main building. However, Sanji contacted me before check-in to confirm the rooms/locations and to see whether this would be okay, which I found a really nice touch. I would recommend the main wing for those who don’t have such requirements. The location of this hotel within a souk is unique and was the perfect way for us to end our stay in Qatar - it provided a lovely relaxing end to our holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, has lovely grounds within a souk (think of the corridors of Morocco) with lovely family restaurants, a 24h buggy service and all of the amenities you can get expect from most 5* hotels. We had two rooms in our own courtyard which we loved the privacy of. The pool area although small was very quiet at this time of year and we made good use of it. If it’s good enough for Jack Grealish… who am I to complain ;-) The staff were all so pleasant and friendly from check-in, the buggy service staff, housekeeping, front of house, pool staff and the ladies at breakfast - nothing was too much.

Some parts of the room weren’t the cleanest, wardrobes and outer exteriors of the room (wood panelling etc) could’ve done with a deeper clean, the decoration pillows and bed throws had stains on them and some of the furniture could definitely do with a deeper clean (fabric sofas and chairs). The disabled room had some issues of condensation on the floor when the AC was switched off (extreme hot to cold left the marble floor very wet) however staff came promptly to clean this up when requested.
