Location. The Telok Ayer metro exits A and B is 50 m and China town stop just 30m from the hotel (although there are many exits! D and E are closest. There are many wonderful places to eat

Breakfast wasn’t included and when I decided I’d like to try it was confusing information but basically you need to book the night before. The hotel restaurant on level 2 where reception is has apparently been “outsourced” so they were happy to turn away $90 for a couple. From what I saw of the buffet it’s overpriced and I’m glad we ate at the Hawker markets which are cheap local food cooked fresh and friendly staff.

The rooms are big and stylish, there’s a nice swimming pool at the rooftop with a good view of the skyscrapers. Small walking distance you can reach Chinatown and others pretty areas. A longer walk and you get to the marina bay.

No breakfast.

Rooms were clean spacious and very nice. Location was fantastic, close to Boat Quay, Chinatown etc. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was good - buffet style with customised eggs on offer. Lots of pastries, yogurt, granola etc plus hot food and traditional Indian.

Just minor - the coffee at breakfast was awful and the bacon wasn't great were small things that could be improved. Also was unable to cancel one of our rooms despite months of notice. Appreciate that it was non refundable, but we spent a lot of money with a large group booking so some common sense give and take should have been applied, the room was easily resellable during the F1.

The best thing about this hotel is the location - this is definitely the best area in Singapore to stay. The hotel location is convenient to many different areas by walking. The rooms are OK size for this price in the centre of Singapore, they are compact but designed well enough to not be too squashy. The bed although not king size was very comfortable, it was very quiet, wifi worked well, the staff on the counter for arranging taxis were very proactive, the shower although compact worked well, toiletries are provided and fridge and freezer. Like other Capri Fraser properties the place is very comfortable, reliable and convenient, but not a place with character but this is not expected when staying here. We would stay here again depending on price as it can be very expensive for what it is and there is a lot of competition in Singapore.

Check in was over 25 minutes which was very frustrating considering the price paid for this hotel and considering the number of rooms in the property one would think that they would put more than two staff on the check in counters. It is not really acceptable to wait this long to check in when everything was already paid for and booked online but the queue was long and service was slow - looking at reviews many people have commented on this issue but it does not seem to have improved. Although comfortable and convenient value for money is questionable so whether or not we would stay here again depends on cost compared to other similar properties in similar location at the time of booking.

Great room, equipped with kitchen which is helpful. Clean room, large bed, modern touches. We didn’t have a great view but didn’t spend much time overall in the room as we were too busy discovering the city

Pool is lovely, great views from the rooftop but the water was a little milky with bits floating (I guess suncream) not the cleanest pool I have seen in hotels.

The rooftop pool was amazing with nice views and a way to run away from the humidity! Helpful and friendly staff, especially the concierge! The room furniture and design was very high end, actually better than a 5-star hotel I stayed at before here.

I am not sure why, but the lighting system automatically turns on all the lights whenever you come in which is ok in general, but it was super bad when my friend was already sleeping and I came to the room late at night which discomforted his sleep by turning all the lights on unintentionally! Maybe because there was no place to enter the card inside, so the system probably wouldn't know if someone is already home or not!

Excellent location, great room, kitchenette, organized, pool, photos don't do it justice.

One interaction with a security guard. Pool closes at 10pm. We went to rooftop to sit and view the skyline and relax with a drink at 10:30pm. Security guard came up and was very aggressive and belligerent that the pool was closed, very unprofessional. Mentioned it to the front desk and manager and never received a reply.
